The Walking Stick of Harriet Tubman
« on: June 26, 2006, 10:47:41 AM »
God, will NickGAS please show this episode! As some of you might have read, I mentioned I keep an episode log & take notes about each episode. Like here's an example of an episode note:

Galileo?s Cannonball (Victory, Layout 1, 0:01, Team, Silver Snakes, 1.5 Pendants, The Mine Shaft, Jennifer & Jon)

So, when I've kept the log, they've shown 119 episodes, all at least twice, some 3-5 times. But they have not shown The Walking Stick of Harriet Tubman once. I've seen the episode before, with Ryann being an idiot & taken out in the Crypt, but I wanna see it again & more recent, because I've seen all other 119 episodes while taking "the log".

I've also been waiting to see it, I've been watching Legends everyday for about four months, and I keep waiting and waiting, but they will not show this episode, I was also waiting on The Dead Man's Hand, but they finally showed that a few weeks ago

Yeah, I've had my log since February 1st, so I feel the same feelings as you. Dead Man's Hand was a big surprise. You know how like they show the same episodes in February & April? I was so happy (& surprised) with the new episodes (ones they didn't show in February) at the end of April, so yeah.

You should! My log's in Microsoft word & called "SATURDAY", for an odd reason:

I was gonna tell my cousin what episodes were on those days, so I kept a list (it was only like 4 days). Than, my mom went on the computer. She turned it off & saved the thing (I didn't want to save it) as "SATURDAY", because that was the first thing on there. Than, I kept recording the episodes & that's how I got the log.

Interesting, I think I will definetely start keeping track, with a lot of detail, I'll tape them everyday, and write a full show summary (eventually)

Sweet. I made a "Legends Collection" for that cousin, 10 episodes on 2 tapes (just the ones they showed that particular week), & I still have some old taped season 1 & 2 episodes from like the late 90's. I never remember seeing season 3 episodes in the late 90's (the reruns, not the times they showed it in 1995-1996), so it was a big shocker to see "The Broken Trident of Poseidon" (my first season 3 episode) on NickGAS one day with one of my best friends & his older brother.

I don't really remember watching them when I was younger, I was only five or six when I watched it, and all I remembered were the 10 episodes I had on tape.  My favorite was The Moccasins of Geronimo on that tape, and I would watch the Temple Run over and over

I don't want to tape the episodes, because I seriously tape so many reality TV shows, I wouldn't have the time (I have 158 tapes currently of reality TV, gonna be 159 tonight). I really want them to make 3 DVDs, one for each season, with all episodes, commentary, extras, maybe interviews with past contestants.

That would be cool, I've been dreaming of Legends on DVD, Nick's put other old shows out, so they should release Legends, along with other shows like Double Dare

Yeah, I was about the same age than. I remember these ones on tape:

The Helmet of Joan of Ark (my first episode)
The Gordion Knot of Alexander [the Great]
Blackbeard's Treasure Map
The Helmet of Genghis Khan
The Levitating Dog Leash of Nostradamus
The Golden Pepperoni of Katherine de' Medici
The Sacred Ring of the Sultan Suleiman

You're so lucky you have the Moccasins of Geronimo on tape, that's a great temple run. Mitchell switches floors 3 times & still comes out with 1:06 left.

Wow, you really are lucky. Those are 3 of my favorite episodes. I don't have any really good ones, except Golden Pepperoni & Levitating Dog Leash. GET THE PEPPERONI!

That's a season two classic moment right there, we should add it, and the Dog Leash is an excellant episode, using the Leash to get the rope was brilliant

Yup. Oh, & The Milk Bucket of Freydis. I have that on tape, & it's a family favorite. So many people mention the best part was Tarah's jump across the Pit & how she bangs her head & falls, but I think something different was the best part, that I didn't even remember her leap of fate. When Tarah is in the Pit & has to crawl through the Ledges, she puts the bucket on her side, rather than in front of her, & she is momentarily stuck, wedged between the passage & the bucket. Than, she gets through & gets out. That was my favorite moment of the episode, not her jump, although that was great too.
