The Lost Taj Mahal Turban of Aurangzeb

Tough layout, impossible Temple Guard avoidance, Dean was a bit slow, and Christine just plain missed the half-pendant.

(Shh... I really want the Ruby Earring episode to win...)

Anyway, let's remove the Mummified Hand of the Egyptian Queen. Not only did you have the critical error the frontrunner made by dropping her pendant, but the second player, despite the large advantage he had compared to all other contestants in his position, made his own critical mistakes. He took a different path (which you should NEVER do unless it's shorter), and somehow missed a hidden half pendant. The combination of those three mistakes caused the team's demise; if any of those three were avoided, the team probably would not have ended the run on a third guard.

EDIT: I suppose, looking at the design of the temple again, that the second player probably should have taken the route he did, but still... he jeoparized his chances of finding the other half pendant by doing so.

The Mystical Spellbook of the Imperial Wizard.  Brutal layout, and the first guy didn't realize you don't need a key to enter the Quicksand Bog!    Hello?

I also hate the title, given how it can be misinterpreted in a very wrong way if you haven't seen the episode (imperial wizard being a KKK title).

The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu

Good team, but they squandered a golden opportunity and Quentin moved pretty slow.

Jeweled Scabbard. The layout was far too easy, and it has the Temple Game that ended in a scoreless tie.

Thank you.  I always felt like the Jeweled Scabbard team got too much credit.  C'mon, you'd have to TRY to lose that one.

Give them a break. That game was probably hard for them.

Actually, we know the game was hard for them. Have you read my interview with Asher on my site? It was a fair temple run overall--remember that they had to pass through some of the most difficult rooms of the temple, even if there were only five.

Yeah, scratch that. I should've worded that differently. I've seen this episode before. Kickballs roll. Boulders flip. They had kickballs, so it was just about impossible to catch them unless you rolled them perfectly or the catcher had long arms.

And yes, although they didn't have to pass through a lot of rooms, they were tough, and Lacey and Asher didn't really do anything wrong.

And while I'm posting...

The Good-Luck Watch of Empress Eugenie.

They could've easily gotten it if Janeen wasn't so hesitant. She looked actually afraid to smash the pots while in the King's Storeroom.
