How would this work on Quibi if everything they have been promoting is like 10 minutes or less?

I'm sure each episode will be broken into three parts, just like the original.

Hey, in case you guys haven't seen, I've also got a petition on Change.org for the 1995 Blue's Clues test pilot, "Blue Prints" to bee seen on YouTube or Amazon Video. I really wish I could see that unaired test pilot in full. Could it be in archives?

(Pendant splits and “Legends of the Hidden Temple” zooms out)

Kirk: Welcome back to Legends. Now the glory goes to the fastest and the strongest. But before we get started, Zuma and I will have a talk with the team players. On the Silver Snakes we have:

Adriana: Adriana Blomgren.

Kirk: How old are you Adriana?

Adriana: I’m 21 years old.

Kirk: It says here that you enjoy running marathons.

Adriana: Yes, I’m among the youngest on my team.

Kirk: What’s your team’s name?

Adriana: The Silver Snakes.

Kirk: So that’s why you chose to be on this Legends team. Now who’s your partner behind you?

Adriana: That’s my good friend Alex Godfrey.

(Alex waves at the camera)

Kirk: Well let’s hear it for the Silver Snakes!

Zuma: And over here on the Red Jaguars, we have:

Dakota: Dakota Ahlers.

Zuma: How old are you, Dakota?

Dakota: I’m 20 years old.

Zuma: It says here that you are on a college basketball team. Please tell me about that.

Dakota: I’ve been playing basketball for almost my entire life and being on a college team is what I’ve longed for.

Zuma: Would you like to play on a professional women’s basketball team?

Dakota: Definitely.

Zuma: Now what is your partner’s name?

Dakota: That’s my boyfriend Trevor Facemyer.

(Trevor waves at the camera)

Zuma: Very nice. Let us hear it for the Red Jaguars!

Kirk: Why don’t you nice ladies get ready for the second temple game and guys I think you’re ready for the first one here. In the temple games, teams will be competing to win Pendants of Life. The winning team will need those pendants to protect them from the dreaded temple guards as they make their way through the temple. There are three temple games, and the first one here is “Drop the Cannonball”. Olmec, please tell us about it

Olmec: In this game, each of you will repeat Galileo’s famous experiment. Inside the shaft are three cannonballs like Galileo’s, even though he dropped two in his experiment. When Kirk gives the signal, grab one cannonball, climb up the shaft and throw it out through the hole in the top. Then, you will jump back down and grab the next cannonball. The first player to successfully drop all three of their cannonballs, or the player with more cannonballs dropped wins.

Zuma: Alex and Trevor look ready. Would you say they are ready, Kirk?

Kirk: Looks like it, Zuma. Let’s set the clock for sixty seconds.

(Temple Game timer bangs down)

Kirk: On your mark, get set, go!

Alex: 3/3 (0:36 Remaining)
Trevor: 2/3

Kirk: He got three! That’s it! Come out of the shafts, guys! There’s a door behind each of you.

Zuma: Whoa, Alex, how did you throw out all three of your cannonballs in that short amount of time?

Alex: I don’t know, Zuma. I’d say I’m just fast.

Zuma: Trevor here almost got up to the top while you threw out your third cannonball.

Kirk: So the Silver Snakes get the first half pendant of life! This next game, called “Jupiter’s Moons”, is also worth a half pendant. Olmec, please tell us about it.

Olmec: One of Galileo’s greatest achievements was the discovery of four of Jupiter’s moons. In this game, there is a ramp with Jupiter at the top. In each basket are four moons. When Kirk gives the signal, grab a moon from your basket, climb up the ramp and place your moon on Jupiter. Once you slide back down, you will grab another moon and stick it to Jupiter. The player with all four moons on Jupiter or the player with the most moons on Jupiter wins.

Zuma: Alright, you know what to do. Please get in position.

Kirk: Let’s set the clock for sixty seconds.

(Temple Game timer bangs down)

Kirk: On your mark, get set, go!

Adriana: 4/4 (0:15 Remaining)
Dakota: 2/4

Kirk: She got all four! That’s it! Come on down, ladies!

Zuma: Wow, Adriana, that was a very nice job you did. Dakota, nice try. You were still able to put up two moons.

Kirk: So that means that the Silver Snakes get the second half pendant of life! This last game, called “Building Telescopes”, requires both players from each team and is worth a full pendant of life. Olmec, please tell us about it.

Olmec: It may be all well and good to have four moons on Jupiter, but if you want to see them, you’ll need a telescope like Galileo’s. When Kirk gives the signal, one of you grab a piece of your telescope, jump up and place it on and above the base and then it will be your partner’s turn to do the same. The first team to complete their telescopes or the team to put up the most telescope pieces wins.

Zuma: It looks like these two teams are prepared. What would you say, Kirk?

Kirk: They look fully prepared, Zuma. Let’s set the clock for sixty seconds.

(Temple Game timer bangs down)

Kirk: On your mark, get set, go!

Silver Snakes: 6/6 (0:23 Remaining)
Red Jaguars: 4/6

Kirk: They’ve got all six pieces! That’s it!

Zuma: The Silver Snakes got all six pieces of their telescopes up while the Red Jaguars have got four.

Kirk: So that means that the Silver Snakes get a full pendant, giving them two, the Red Jaguars didn’t win anything. Alex and Adriana, you two are going to the temple!

Zuma: Red Jaguars Trevor and Dakota, you two have put in some good effort throughout the show and here is your consolation prize.

(Zuma opens a chest with the third consolation prize)

Kirk: We’ll see if the Silver Snakes can make it through Olmec’s temple and retrieve Galileo’s cannonball.

Zuma: They will do it right after this!

(Pendant forms and “Legends of the Hidden Temple” comes out from behind it to end Part 2)

I saw that and shared it!

Also, if the rally in my hometown can't happen, maybe all of you can sign another petition of mine for a LOTHT event at Canobie Lake Park (which is in southern New Hampshire but is also in my home US region).

9
Hopefully the mayor of my hometown can also call up Kirk Fogg, Dee Bradley Baker and anyone else who worked on the original Legends of the Hidden Temple and/or the film adaptation.

Also, maybe some winning contestants that went in the temple could be honored.

Season 1:
Jennifer Holtz (Galileo’s Cannonball)
Tayler Gold (The Helmet of Genghis Khan)
Jeremy Steding (Robin Hood and Maid Marian’s Silk Ladder)
David Hill (Lawrence of Arabia’s Headdress)

Season 2:
Tabitha Stroshein (The Diary of Doctor Livingstone)
Ty Mathen (The Lucky Medallion of Atocha)
Olivia-Emma Houliana (The Applewood Amulet of Emiliano Zapata)
Joel Cruz-Davis (The Enormous Iron Nose Ring of Babe the Ox)
Tony DeViva (The Snakeskin Boots of Billy the Kid)

Season 3:
Tiffani Milford (The Much-Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain)
Zac Turney (The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen)
Kristin Kerkvliet (The Jewel-Encrusted Egg of Catherine the Great)

I’ll have to update the list if more winning contestants pop up online.

The Treasure Room / Revamped for Adults Ep: Galileo's Cannonball
« on: February 27, 2020, 09:18:46 AM »
(Camera moves through a thick jungle with animals popping out from either side and finally reveals King Olmec)

Olmec: Legends of the Hidden Temple!

(Title card forms)

Olmec: With your guide (and my good son), Zuma!

(Title card glows gold and fades)

Olmec: And here he is now with our original guide, Kirk Fogg!

(Kirk and Zuma swing on ropes into the outdoor theater where this reboot is set)

Kirk: Alright! Thank you! Thank you very much! Thank you, Olmec!

Zuma: Thank you, father!

Kirk: Welcome to Legends of the Hidden Temple! I’m OG guide Kirk Fogg.

Zuma: And I am King Olmec’s good son, Zuma.

Kirk: The rooms in the temple are filled with lost treasures that are protected by mysterious Mayan temple guards. Only Olmec knows the legend behind each of the treasures in his temple.

Zuma: Which one will we hear about today, father?

Olmec: The legend of Galileo’s cannonball.

Kirk: Oh, the legend of Galileo’s cannonball. Well the legend is set and one of these six teams will have a chance to retrieve the cannonball.

(CGI transitions of the team animals are shown when each team is called and each team name appears in front of the contestants when Kirk or Zuma do the roll call)

Kirk: Will it be the Red Jaguars?
Zuma: Do you think it will be the Blue Barracudas?
Kirk: Or how about the Green Monkeys?
Zuma: Could it be the Orange Iguanas?
Kirk: Maybe the Purple Parrots?
Zuma: Or will it be the Silver Snakes?

Zuma: They will have to pass some very tough physical and mental tests, and in the end, only one team will earn the right to run through my father’s temple.

Kirk: But first, they must cross the moat, and Olmec will tell them how they’ll do it today.

Olmec: Before each of you is a log raft with an ancient rope above it. When Kirk gives the signal, stand on the raft while pulling yourself to the other side. Once you are across, throw the raft back to your partner, who will then do the same. When the second player is safely across, run over and hit the gong.

(Kirk and Zuma hit the Red Jaguars’ and Silver Snakes’ gongs)

Olmec: The first four teams to hit their gongs will go on to the next round!

Zuma: Are you ready, teams?

(Teams shout “Yesss!”)

Zuma: You can say it better. Are you ready, teams?

(Teams shout “YESSS!”)

Kirk: And are you ready, Olmec?

Olmec: Let’s rock!

Kirk: On your marks, get set, go!

1. Silver Snakes
2. Orange Iguanas
3. Red Jaguars
4. Blue Barracudas

Kirk: We got our four teams right here! They are…

Kirk: …the Red Jaguars,
Zuma: …the Blue Barracudas,
Kirk: …the Orange Iguanas,
Zuma: …and the Silver Snakes!

Kirk: Green Monkeys and Purple Parrots, no one on Legends leaves empty-handed. We have a great consolation prize for both of you and here’s what it is.

(Zuma opens a chest with the first consolation prize)

Kirk: As the quest continues, it’s now time for Olmec to tell us about Galileo’s cannonball. Pay attention teams, because your knowledge of the legend will bring you one step closer to Olmec's temple.

Olmec: Perhaps the most brilliant Italian scientist and astronomer of all time was Galileo. He perfected the telescope and was one of the first people to use experiments to prove his discoveries. One day, he thought to himself, "If I drop two different-sized cannonballs from the same height, I bet they'll land at the same time." To test his idea, Galileo went to the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. He climbed the steps of the tower, and when he got to the top, he leaned out over the edge and dropped the cannonballs. They both landed at the same time, proving Galileo's theory and launching his career as a famous scientist, but that’s not all. Legend has it that the cannonballs landed right smack dab on two cheese and pepperoni sandwiches, thereby proving his theory and inventing pizza. One of Galileo's cannonballs is now in the temple. Your quest is to find the cannonball and bring it back here.

Zuma: Thank you, father. So please tell us, where is the cannonball?

Olmec: Galileo’s cannonball can be found in the Mine Shaft.

Kirk: Teams, you're now standing on the Steps of Knowledge. In a minute, Olmec will ask you a question. If you think you know the answer, stomp down on the ancient marking in front of you. If you're right, you'll move down to the next level. But if you're wrong or ran out of time, I'll give the other teams a chance to answer. The first two teams to make it to the bottom level will be one step closer to Olmec's temple. Olmec, we're now ready for your first question.

Olmec: According to our legend, did Galileo conduct experiments with two cannonballs on the Leaning Tower of London, the Leaning Tower of Babble, or the Leaning Tower of Pisa?

(Female Silver Snake rings in)

Zuma: Silver Snakes

Female Silver Snake: The Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Olmec: That is correct.

Kirk: Come on down, Silver Snakes!

(Silver Snakes move down a step)

Kirk: Next question, Olmec.

Olmec: Which of these is the force that causes objects to fall when dropped? Friction, gravity, or dropsy?

(Female Silver Snake rings in)

Zuma: Silver Snakes

Female Silver Snake: Gravity.

Olmec: That is correct.

Kirk: You got it again! Step down!

(Silver Snakes move down a step)

Kirk: One more correct response and you two go to the next round! Next question.

Olmec: Is the study of gravity part of physics, physiology, or psychology?

(Male Silver Snake rings in)

Zuma: Silver Snakes

Male Silver Snake: Physics.

Olmec: That is correct!

Kirk: We got our first team that’s going on to the next round! It’s the Silver Silver Snakes!

(Excited Silver Snakes move down to the bottom step)

Kirk: Olmec, next question, please.

Olmec: If you dropped a feather and a hammer from the same height on the Moon, would they land at the same time? Would the hammer land first, or would the feather land first?

(Female Blue Barracuda rings in)

Zuma: Blue Barracudas

Female Blue Barracuda: They’d both land at the same time.

Olmec: That is correct.

Kirk: Now you’re on the board, Blue Barracudas!

(Blue Barracudas move down a step)

Kirk: Next question, Olmec.

Olmec: Which of these other scientists also made discoveries with falling objects? Isaac Newton, Nicolaus Copernicus, or Robert Hooke?

(Male Red Jaguar rings in)

Zuma: Red Jaguars

Male Red Jaguar: Isaac Newton.

Olmec: That is correct.

Kirk: There you go, Red Jaguars! Step on down!

(Red Jaguars move down a step)

Kirk: Next question, Olmec.

Olmec: In which of these fields did Galileo study? Astrology, astronomy, or astronautics?

(Male Red Jaguar rings in)

Zuma: Red Jaguars

Male Red Jaguar: Astronomy?

Olmec: That is correct.

Kirk: You got it again! Step down!

(Red Jaguars move down a step)

Kirk: Only one more correct response away from the next round. Next question.

Olmec: Did Galileo discover craters on the Moon, canals on Mars, or alien civilizations on Titan?

(Female Red Jaguar rings in)

Zuma: Red Jaguars

Female Red Jaguar: Craters on the Moon.

Olmec: That is correct!

(Excited Red Jaguars join the Silver Snakes on the bottom step)

Kirk: We got our two teams that are going on to the temple games! They are the Red Jaguars and the Silver Snakes! Blue Barracudas, Orange Iguanas, why don’t you come on down. You should know by now that no one on Legends leaves empty-handed. Zuma’s got a chest with your consolation prize, and here’s what it is.

(Zuma opens a chest with the second consolation prize)

Kirk: These two teams will be playing for the right to enter Olmec’s temple!

Zuma: And they will do it right after this!

(Pendant forms and “Legends of the Hidden Temple” comes out from behind it to end Part 1)

The Pit / To celebrate the upcoming Legends of the Hidden Temple reboot…
« on: February 22, 2020, 08:17:52 PM »
…I was thinking about hosting a rally in my hometown some weekend this March. In order to make that happen, I should recruit friends and family so they can help me get everything set up. If you're reading this and you signed my petition before its victory, you should probably do the same.

The Temple Games / Mikey's Clues Challenge: Round 1
« on: February 05, 2020, 09:33:52 AM »
This past December I had ideas for a Legends-themed Blue's Clues parody called "Mikey's Clues", with Mikey the Green Monkey from the LOTHT movie leaving three green handprints in each episode. I'll generate a question and you have to guess the answer one clue at a time. The episodes that are being (or already have been) remade so far for "Blue's Clues and You!" will be omitted along with the episodes of Steve Burns's goodbye trilogy.

Scoring
Correct guess from first clue: 50
Correct guess from second clue: 20
Correct guess from all three clues: 10
