The Temple Games / Legends Color Mix Game: Round 1
« on: December 29, 2018, 05:52:44 PM »
Here's a new forum game I made up. It's a color mix game and here's how it works:

Using a random number generator, generate two L.o.t.H.T. episode numbers.

Example: 60, 80

Next you need to mix the two colors of the teams that made it to the temple in those two episodes (going by the production order). If you get a Silver Snake number, yellow will take place of silver.

Blue + Yellow  Green

Strikes: Brownish colors (such as mixing opposite colors or colors that don't really mix)

Examples: 9, 72; 4, 111

Get three and you're out!

If you get a color that's already in your list, you lose a turn (this doesn't count as a strike).

If you get two numbers with the same color, you go again. Whoever has 12 colors (three primary, three secondary, and six tertiary) or the most colors wins the game. Don't forget to list the colors at the bottom of your reply!

I'll go first to demonstrate.

Soundstage 18 / Blue's Clues Reboot
« on: July 15, 2018, 08:31:59 PM »
How many of you remember Blue's Clues or have heard about the upcoming reboot? The host obviously won't be Steve Burns or Donovan Patton (aka Joe Burns). This is probably the first time a TV show that jumped the shark gets rebooted (Blue's Clues jumped the shark when Steve left). What are the odds on Legends getting a reboot? Legends didn't jump the shark, did it?

This is one of the episodes of my L.o.t.H.T. revival prediction. For more info, click here.

Episode 21: Moses's Broken Tablets

(Camera moves through a thick jungle taking two wrong turns and finally revealing King Olmec)

Olmec: Legends of the Hidden Temple!

(Title card forms)

Olmec: With your guide, Kirk Fogg!

(Title card shatters)

Olmec: And here he is now!

(Kirk swings on a rope into the new Legends set)

Kirk: Thank you! Thank you very much! Nice to see you! Thank you Olmec! Welcome to Legends of the Hidden Temple. The rooms are filled with lost treasures that are protected by mysterious Mayan temple guards. Only Olmec knows the legend behind each of the treasures in his temple. Which one are we gonna hear about today?

Olmec: The legend of Neil Armstrong's moon rock.

Kirk: Oh, Neil Armstrong's moon rock. Well, the legend is set and one of these six teams will have a chance to retrieve the moon rock. Will it be:

(Camera shows each team cheering)

The Red Jaguars?

The Blue Barracudas?

The Green Monkeys?

The Orange Iguanas?

The Purple Parrots?

Or the Silver Snakes?

They'll have to pass some pretty tough physical and mental tests, and in the end, only one team will earn the right to enter Olmec's temple. But first, the must cross the moat, and Olmec will tell them how they'll have to do it today.

Olmec: Before you is an ancient rope net that hangs above the moat. When Kirk gives the signal, make your way across using the net above you. If you fall into the water, go back and start again. Once the first player is safely across, their partner will cross the same way. When both players have crossed the moat, run over and hit the gong.  (Kirk hits the Silver Snakes' gong) The first four teams to hit their gongs will go on to the next round.

Kirk: OK teams, are you ready?

Teams: YEAH!

Kirk: Are you ready Olmec?

Olmec: Sure am!

Kirk: On your mark, get set, GO!

Over the weekend I started a "Viacom Media Conservation Center" album on Google Photos and so far I got two L.o.t.H.T. episodes (The Snake Bracelet of Cleopatra and The Jeweled Scabbard of Sforza). If any of you fans happen to have any L.o.t.H.T. episodes from their original broadcast, either upload it onto my album on Google Photos or email them to me.
