The Treasure Room / Legends of the Hidden Temple Song Parodies
« on: April 14, 2019, 12:59:47 PM »
I recently had ideas for L.o.t.H.T. song parodies and I was wondering if any of you could help me think of lyrics. One that popped into my head was "Banging of a Gong" (a parody of "Barrel of a Gun" by Guster). The only lyrics I could think of for that one are "When at the banging of a gong".

The Dark Forest / Am I even normal?
« on: March 25, 2019, 09:36:38 PM »
Hey, Phantom’s Temple users.

I was feeling abnormal because I was told two months ago that I wasn’t acting my age because I hugged a girl I know out in the community. Some girls I know have rejected hugs from me because they knew that it’s abnormal of me to want to hug girls. Also, two years ago, I was ridiculed for my love of Legends in my late adolescence (months before I entered adulthood).

I’m however not embarrassed about either of those. What I am embarrassed about is not being thin. I’ve seen how thin many of my friends are (including those who graduated with me) and being thin is apparently a social norm. Right now I weigh in the 290s at 5’7”.

Which of the three is the most abnormal about me? Am I even normal despite these abnormalities?

Soundstage 18 / Blue's Clues "Blue's Birthday" Uncut
« on: March 02, 2019, 07:19:00 AM »
I was wondering if any of you happen to have caught "Blue's Birthday" on its prime-time premiere on June 14, 1998. I finally found a YouTube upload of the video birthday card from the UK version. It had Melissa Joan Hart, the season 2 cast of "The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss" (with Marty Robinson as the Cat in the Hat), and Whoopi Goldberg which are said to have been from when its early syndication in June and July of 1998. Also, there's an extra scene on VHS where Steve opens multiple gift boxes inside each other to reveal a blue heart-shaped "Thank You" cookie in the smallest box. Was that also in the original airing?

The Treasure Room / Legends of the Hidden Temple at Super Bowl
« on: February 01, 2019, 07:01:51 AM »
Since Double Dare will air a show at this year's Super Bowl, I was wondering if Legends would do the same if it gets rebooted. I'm writing fanfics about two L.o.t.H.T. shows at next year's Super Bowl. Even if the team I root for (the New England Patriots) don't make it, I'll still watch the L.o.t.H.T. Super Bowl special if it ever happens (both shows, of course).

Here are the two shows:

Show 1: TBA
Show 2: TBA

Moat Crossing: Hanging from an ancient rope

Temple Layout:
Room of the Royal Gongs
Pit of Despair
Observatory
Medusa's Lair
Room of the Ancient Warriors
Shrine of the Silver Monkey
Room of the Secret Password
Pharaoh's Secret Passage
Quicksand Bog (Artifact Location 1)
Tomb of the Ancient Kings
Swamp (Artifact Location 2)
Throne Room

The Pit / Legends of the Hidden Temple Reboot
« on: January 29, 2019, 02:23:12 PM »
Since we've already got a movie and a board game, I was wondering what the odds are on Legends getting an actual reboot. Of course, it'll be played the same way as the original, but I thought it could also include elements from the movie (ex: Ioan Sebastian Tirlui reprising his role as Zuma and hosting with Kirk Fogg). Maybe also in the reboot, the set will look more Mayan.

So, should Legends actually be rebooted? There's a poll above and a link to my petition in my signature (if you vote yes).

The Temple Games / Legends Color Mix Game: Round 1
« on: December 29, 2018, 05:52:44 PM »
Here's a new forum game I made up. It's a color mix game and here's how it works:

Using a random number generator, generate two L.o.t.H.T. episode numbers.

Example: 60, 80

Next you need to mix the two colors of the teams that made it to the temple in those two episodes (going by the production order). If you get a Silver Snake number, yellow will take place of silver.

Blue + Yellow  Green

Strikes: Brownish colors (such as mixing opposite colors or colors that don't really mix)

Examples: 9, 72; 4, 111

Get three and you're out!

If you get a color that's already in your list, you lose a turn (this doesn't count as a strike).

If you get two numbers with the same color, you go again. Whoever has 12 colors (three primary, three secondary, and six tertiary) or the most colors wins the game. Don't forget to list the colors at the bottom of your reply!

I'll go first to demonstrate.

Please help celebrate two years of Legends of the Hidden Temple's comeback. I did a live video of the movie on Facebook on the game show's 25th anniversary.
