Title: Legends Dreams
Post by: PhantomBPR on October 07, 2006, 03:56:25 PM
I have had several dreams of Legends of the hidden temple. So many I have woke up with the horrible realization that Legends wasn't actually brought back, but in several, I have done a temple run.

In my most recent one, I belivie I was running the "Heat Shaped Pillow" run. All of the bottom rooms were on top though, and it seemed I was advancing much faster, when I got near the forest, I relaized there was a temple guard in the tree, so I jumped into an opeing and ended up...in Doom, the computer game Doom.....yeah the Legends part ends there.

How about you guys? Have you ever had Legends dreams? Tell us the details.

I've only ever had one Legends dream and it was like a re-do of the Secret Battle Plan of Nathan Hale.

It was weird, me and the boy and girl from the Silver Snakes all went into the temple at the same time. All of us went upto the top entrance (ya know, where the Crypt would be) and the room objective was like we had to mix some paints together or something. There was red, blue, and yellow and we had to mix them and then put the mixture on a canvas on the wall... that's all i really remember. :P

Heh! That sounds like something I'd dream.

As I mentioned in the other thread, I was in the middle of a temple run, and the temple guards were all giants (and some of them were Indian chiefs).  Also, a whole bunch of other people were running through the temple at the same time...it could have been part of a tour.

I have had some absolutely bizarre dreams about Legends before. I really don't think I can explain exactly what happened in each one, but I've always run in the temple.

Unfortunately, the rooms in the temple were really cheesy, for some reason... Of course, the reason why lies outside the explicable realm of dreams. I won in all three dreams (episodes) I was on. One was even hosted by Jeff Probst!

I think the worst thing about all my Legends dreams is that they all seem to end up in a "So close but yet so far scenario" where I never seem to complete a run. I think once I did, but it was like Kirk just poped into my home and told me, then after I was told I won, it was as if everything fell down, and Kirk was a lifeless body, as was evey other living aspect and we were in my bedroom.....the I entered the computer game "Double Switch" by Digital Pictures. (The PC version, not the Sega version)

I had two dreams I really remember.

One was me doing the Cricket Cage run, but the layout was like where I had to go through every room. I noticed the cameras were off, so I pulled a Nick Borey & went back in the Ledges & climbed out, setting a record.

The other one was me doing some weird thing. I was a Purple Parrot with this guy Dylan, who I'm kinda friends with. The Temple was in the outdoors & I grabbed the artifact in the Tomb of the Headless Kings, ran through the Pit of the Pendulum, then I jumped over Olmec & won.

Not to bring back a months-old thread, but I have some stories to share.

Actually I had two? within a week, I think. First one was me experiencing The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea in first person. A few things were different, thou: I was the frontrunner (instead of Lissy going first, she was gonna go in second,) instead of Olmec's gate I started at a stone platform on the end of two identical wooden bridges leading to the Temple, and the second prize was a pair of vacation packages. (Then again, since the Royal Torque was still in the Tomb of the Headless Kings I guess that might've been fair.)

The other was me watching as Kirk made a single new episode which he told me planned to post on YouTube. The Temple was a few stories taller and had several direct entrances from the floor of the incredibly big studio, and it was taller than it was long. I heard the artifact was the Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl, and I came in when they were filming the third Temple Game (one of those collection-type games.) So Purple Parrots were on the left of me as I watched from up close, and I turned to the right to see how the Silver Snakes were doing? and suddenly the Orange Iguanas are on my left when I turn to the left again! I asked Kirk what was going on and he said he was letting all the teams play through to the end.

And so the Temple Run came and the frontrunners from each team all went into the Temple at the same time. (And although there were six times as many teams as there should be, there were only three Temple Guards which stayed in the same room to catch each team once. I don't remember too many rooms, but the first floor was mostly ladders except for one room which looked like a blend of the Tomb of the Headless Kings and the Crypt. And on the second floor was a small room like a mix between the Crypt and the Treasure Room, and next to it a longer version of the Room of the Ancient Warriors (there were three pairs of suits of armor.) Above the second floor I don't remember that much. I asked where the Portrait was, Kirk pointed to a room up on the third or fourth floor. He didn't give a name to the room, so I asked if there were any rooms with names. Kirk said he didn't bother naming them, besides he wouldn't remember their names. Then we laughed talking about some of his Fogg-Ups like "The Room of the Silver Monkeys" and "Demoosa's Lair." I think I woke up right after that. Oh well.

I had a dream, where I was on season 2, and the artifact:

The lion cloak of medusa, was in medusas layer.

Here's the dream:

My partner went into the crypt, pulled the 1st skeleton, and went into the pit. Went to the throne, didn't open, tried medusas layer, went into the observatory, aligned the puzzle, temple guard came up, gave up her pendant. Went into the king's storeroom, got caught again, I took off, with only a 1/2 pendant. I went into the crypt, pit, observatory, I went into the kings storeroom with 2:20 left, smashed every pot in 2 seconds, got the key, put it in every pedestal in 1 second, went into the shrine of the silver monkey, kirk fogg said " oh, that could come back to haunt him, he passed up the 1/2 pendant in the kings storeroom. " Got all 3 pieces, and assembled it in 4 seconds, went into the dark forest, I got the key in the 1st tree, and i thought " oh cool, on my 1st try, the other tree might've had a temple spirit. " I went into the swamp, went into the throne room. With 1:43 left. I tred to go up, and at 1:23, I sat down, tried to go up, with 1:10 left, the throne turned around, I got stuck in the opening (finally it opened), and a temple guard came out on the other side, and caught me. The game ended with 1:07 left. I came real close to getting the lion cloak of medusa. Curse that throne! By the way, I didn't hear kirk fogg saying " oh, could come back to haunt him, he passed up the 1/2 pendant. " I was concentrating so hard, I didn't here even the music. By the way, we were the orange iguanas. Going against the red jaguars in round 3. The 1st round, the red jaguars won the round, where we had to climb the wall to get 4 snakes, and put into the basket. I was ahead, and there was 8 seconds left, and I fell down, and the red jaguar named " Kirk6ty " got the 4th snake with 1 second left. By a finger, I lost. Then my partner " Pattyuio " Went against " Gyro567 " and won. She had to slide down, and get all the gold treasure into the basket at the end, and got it all in with 14 seconds left. Then in round 3, we had to throw all the pillows in the basket. We got all 12 in with 3 seconds left, and the red jaguars only had 7. I watched the episode, where the girl goes into the silver monkey, and gets caught by a temple guard with only a 1/2 pendant. The red jaguars missed the 1/2 pendant in the kings storeroom at the actuator to the silver monkey. Thanks for your time.

What surprises me the most is that your dream used an exact copy of a real-world Temple Layout.  Most of these guys in this thread had all these cheesy fake rooms to go thru, and when I went for The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea in my dream there was no Temple Gate, just a double bridge.

I had another one last night.  Okay, so I was on Renegade's site looking around the Season 1 Blue Barracudas runs and I clicked to watch one, and suddenly it took up my entires sight of vision, I dunno why.

Anyway, the run was okay til the second player got in the Holes of Python area with about 1:30 left.  But get this, there was a ladder he had to go around to go on thru the room.  And he did? but stepped just out of the room's boundaries in the process, ending the game there and then.  He could've gone around the ladder the other way, but he was ready to kick himself, I could tell.  The video redirected to Renegade's Temple Run main page, but I couldn't read the episode name before I woke up.

(And when I did, for some reason I wondered what the heck episode that was.  All I could think was it might've been Layout VII.)

I had one... I was at a taping and the girl got stuck in 1 of the python holes. She flailed about so much that the entire room (holes and ladders) got pulled out of place and crashed. Kirk just said ohh... that's the third death this season! See you next time! Bu bye! I swear I really did have this dream. It was probably after watching Gareth from the codebook or Jennifer from the blue pearl!

When I was little, I always dreamed I was in the Holes of Python... except I was really small, and the only sound there was was a constant, high-pitched ringing that would drive me insane.

I had a very odd Legends dream a few hours ago, it woke me up earlier than I usually get up on a Sunday so I'm going to try and get it all down before I forget it:

This Legends dream took place in what seemed to be a WalMart. I didn't see the moat or the steps, it just transferred right to the temple games. It was not two teams of two, it  was just one girl and on guy facing off. The players were two seniors I know from my school. Now remember that this is all set in WalMart, so the games entail running across the narrow walkways of shelves stocked with items (apparently the shoppers didn't care), any how, the girl won two temple games in a row, and the guy was not too happy about this, as they were walking to the third temple game he whispered to her "Better calm down with that shit bitch!" or something like that.

So anyway, I don't know what happened to the 3rd temple game, and Holly and PJ (their names in real life) seemed to disappear off the set. So they decided I'd be taking the tie breaker challenge for some reason. The tie breaker started much like the wagers on Carmen Sandiego, well sort of, we walked to the cards section of WalMart and I was given an envelope to write how much money I wanted to wager on the tie breaker (Rockepella music included: "How much you wanna risk?").

So anyway we finally get to the tie breaker, which takes place at the check-out line, Olmec's head is positioned on the far wall near the entrance and something is really fucking up with Olmec.

He only gets out a word at a time, and they are broken up so you can't understand what he's trying to say. It was something like: "Was........" and then he would list one of the answers, then stop talking all together. So Kirk presses some button from the check out line he is positioned at and yells "OLMEC, FINAL QUESTION!" in an annoyed tone. So then, all of a sudden, I am standing near the end of the check out line where they bag your goods, and my little brother is standing next to me. Above Olmec's head, a screen apperas with orange lights that looks like something out of an arcade, it has a horizontal line drawn across the top and a vertical line intersecting in the middle of the horizontal line, and coming all the way down the screen (all in orange lights mind you). Above the horizontal line in the top are two "1's" that are separated by the vertical line. Below both of these are the images of hands above small half-squares that I assume represent the tie breaker pedestal buttons. ANYWAY, none of that matters much anyway because there is no tie breaker pedestal, then Olmec finally asks the question, I don't remember the Legend, but it had something to do with an explorer and steak, and his question was something like: "Did he name his steak house after his love: 1.Jessica, 2.Heather, or 3. Steak? I was sure the answer was Jessica, but I had no way to buzz in, so I started hitting the area where they bag your goods and made "gong noises" trying to get Olmec's attention, Kirk looked confused until he finally said "Bryan, just answer the question." and I said "Jessica" Olmec got out a muttered "incorrect" and I wasn't quite sure if he said incorrect at first until I realized no one was celebrating a victory. So you are probably thinking that my little brother answered the question and went on to the temple, well he seemed to disappear as well. So I asked Kirk who would be going to the temple and he said "We'll have to get that Asian girl back, which is good because I've always wanted to see a transvestite run." I laughed at this, but I was still a bit pissed off.

So I walk near the end of one of the check out lines in use, and I ask Kirk what the real answer was to the question, he admits he doesn't know it himself. I pick up a container of salt that somebody was checking out and I begin looking through it as if the answer lied within it. I then said "I'm going to go online and look up the real answer to the question, and it is about this Legend, right?" Kirk replied "That's right, it's about this Legend." I replied with "Ok, if it turns out it was "Jessica" you're going to get a mean letter from me." after that Kirk disappeared, and what little remained of the dream had nothing to do with Legends, except for one last strange line I said which was "I guess it's better that they did the run first and the tie breaker last, at least I got to run through the temple" which made no sense since I didn't go to the temple, I think my mind had associated the money wager I did earlier with being the temple run.

Anyway, there you have it, pretty messed up if you ask me. There are many terrible things in this world, but few are sicker and sadder than losing a tie breaker on Legends after coming so close, perhaps a fear of mine locked deep away in my subconscious for sometime? Or just too much Taco Bell before bed? The answer is up to you.

"Was.................Jessica, Heather, or Steak?"

Wow. That's both very interesting and strange at the same time. I'd have to say eating the Taco Bell probably did it for you. I've never had Taco Bell before bed, so I can't really say for certain. Maybe I'll try it sometime.

By the way, I'd say the answer is Heather.

Another one! Last night I was in place of David in "King Tut's Cobra Staff" (isn't that weird it's one of the three episodes that's on today?) except I grabbed the Cobra Staff with nearly 20 seconds left, and I managed to go headfirst thru three of the Python Holes before time ran out.

I remember two weird things about it:
1. My point of view was third-person til I jumped out of the bucket in the Well, then I remember it switched to show Kirk and Eusinia just as time ran out.
2. I could actually feel the side of a Holes of Python board when my arm rubbed against it, but that's the only thing I actually felt.

This was an interesting one.  I was on the same team as my high school sweetheart, obviously the Silver Snakes, and and went into the temple first.  The artifact was in the dark forest, and she made AMAZING time.  Next, I went in, followed her path, and I was putting together this statue thing, and it was rigged to not fit together.  Dumb, but still.

I rembember zach entering the dark forest and getting caught By the temple guard in the tree with about 40 seconds left. When her comes mariam she accutally enters by walking over to the dark forest and enters that way. Then she breaks throught the wall and tries to climb the slide. This is where the bitch comment comes into play. She of course runs out of time. I also had a weird dream about a new temple game. Players had to take a peice of the silver monkey, they then had to climb a rope and put the peice on the pedistal. Then climb down and get Giant 8. After that the dreams sort of just drifts of into a tangent about spanish MXC.

I had 2: one where all of a sudden, I am in a temple run and my partner just got taken out of the temple. I had to go in and I'm at the Pirates Cove and I climb down to the dungeon and my time runs out but I keep going and get arrested for breaking down the stone wall. The other one was this one where this girl is getting chased through the temple by a temple guard and she looked like Missy from the Heart Shaped Pillow episode. She gets through this room that looks like the Swamp(Season 2) and Dark Forest combined and she gets to the King's Storeroom (Season 3) and as she climbs down the ladder to the Chamber Of Sacred Markers, the guard kills her. I also had a dream where I was eating some cheese and a guy named Joe came up to me and gave me a DVD of this show like Wild And Crazy Kids and LOTHT. Olmec announced

Ok, I had this odd Legends dream last night, however, I was watching Legends in my dream. Anyways, I've watched Legends in my dream before, but this was even stranger.

From what I can remember, I was watching NICK Gas, and the annoucer said "Coming up next, the season finale of Legends of the Hidden Temple". Which, is strange. However, when the show started, the theme music was really like a jungle drum beat style, and Olmec was much more round and fat looking, and his voice was REALLY really DEEP. Who was the show's host? It was Kirk Fogg, but he looked much younger and seemed really nervous. (This was like a pilot season?) When Olmec told the Legend it was: The Kneecap of Mike (I don't remember the rest of the name.) When the camera went over the temple, the temple was very low, and was 3 levels high. I thought that it was even more strange that two teams were swept right to the Temple Games, and in which their were FIVE temple games, and the first four were worth a half pendant, and the 5th worth a whole. (Here is the part I don't remember - the whole temple games), right after the temple games are done, I do remember Olmec saying and not Kirk, that the Orange Jaguars (yes, seriously), had won 1.5 pendants and we're going for the temple, right after this. Anyways, the entrance to the temple was a stone fence, and was very odd looking as it fell straight down quickly. Anyways, the temple was very HARD, but had easy rooms, where the contestant just had to hit an actuator. Anyways, the layout was really freaking hard, as the Kneecap was wayyyyy down in the bottom left corner, and temple design was hard aswell, as the Three and a Half Minutes (weird.), ran out as the 2nd runner was in the middle column of the temple in The Magician's Lair (yes, seriously).. anyways, the temple design was, go across the 3rd column, go down, across the 2nd column to where the King's Storeroom from s2 was, go down their and across. As the show finished Olmec was voiced by Dee Baker, and the host was Kirk Fogg. But this was odd... At the end it showed 'Legends of the Temple' (no hidden. Odd.) Copyright 1992 Viacom.

I've had the dream before with that show that was just like that but I only watched it for like a minute in my dream. So uh.. weird.

I had a dream that I was at the moat and what we had to do was dumb but the weird part was that all the teams were mixed up.  So like an orange iguana was with a silver snake and stuff like that.  All I remember was that my team finished third and that's it.

I have had some very weird dreams. Some, funny. Some weird. Some creepy.

One dream that was funny, and not to long ago, I was alone in front of olmac and i said something that made him mad, and he said "Thats it! Get the f*** out of my temple!" O_O

A weird one was... You know how at fairs they have "Fun Houses"? Well i had a dream that at my fair they had a funhouse/temple. I just remember being in the dark forrest, getting the key, opening the door to the swamp, and my cusin had came the other way O_O and he said "Dont come this way! Theres a temple guard! Save yourself!" O_O

A creepy one was i was in the temple, and i went into the "Heart Room" except it was black and white colord, maybe more along the lines of the sacred markers, but i dident have time to figure out the objective because a temple guard got me. He took me back stage and... next thing i knew i was in a building with a terrorist who told everyone to line up O_O then i woke up O_O I KNEW THEM TEMPLE GUARDS WERE BAD!!!

Another weird one... This was the only dream i ever had of legends before i found GaS, It was probbibly about 5 years ago. just remember that i had not made it out of the moat, so i went to kirk fogg and was begging and crying "Kirk!! I want in the temple soooo bad!" and he smiled and said, "Okay fine. 5 mins, you can go play in the pit." And i did xDDD I was throwing balls and climbing the walls, i was having so much fun! then i woke up.

I had a dream once where I was on Legends.  I remember it was a season 3 episode and I was a green monkey I believe.  I forget my partners name though.

For the moat, I believe it was one of the two moats envolving the green circular lily pad like things.  I forget which one though.  The teams I believe that made it across were us, the orange iguanas, the silver snakes, and I forget the other, but I think the purple parrots didn't make it across.

I don't remember anything about the steps except that it was us, silver, orange, or either red or blue and that I believe us and the orange iguanas moved on to the temple games.

In the temple games, my solo game I believe was the trampoline tower game.  I don't remember my team's game though.  I think my partner lost hers, I won mine, and we won our team game, but I remember that we went to the temple.

I decided to go first in the temple.  I didn't do too well.  I went into the crypt and didn't notice that a door opened so I kept pulling on the books.
In the pit of the pendulum, I missed the column a couple times, but I finally knocked it down.  The good thing was that I could get myself back up to the platform.  The only door that opened was the Kings Storeroom door.  I got taken out there thankfully.  (First Guard was in the Crypt.)  I stalled a bit in the back of the temple which was just hallways with janiter closets.  My partner meanwhile, made it to the artifact which was on the bottom floor and brought it out.

There was another part to this dream which was located at the vacation I won and something weird happened.  I forget what it was though.

At 2:25 AM I awaken from a LoTH-based nightmare. The story opens up
with Olmec near a candle--as some one took it--don't know who.
Olmec saids, "Next on Legends, [body part] of The Shief of Notaham."

Kirk and the teams come up a staircase--and Kirk replaces the candle. Olmec thanks him--and then Kirk takes the kids upstairs to the moat. I saw the kids changed from sneakers to water shoes for the moat. The moat looked like a very small pool. Kirk yelled that this isn't the moat--then Olmec yelled...

At this point, I awaken......

I had a dream a couple nights ago about Legends, which is funny, seeing as how I haven't even thought about the show in a few good years. It was what prompted me to start looking online for Legends of the Hidden Temple in the first place.

The dream itself was fairly long, but I remember nothing of it except a little section. I felt that I was near the entrance, so I had just started the run, but I believe I had just been in an unknown room. I was standing between two rooms, seemed like I was in a two foot stretch of hallway that resembled somewhat the Cave of Sighs in color and texture. The room before me was was laid with bamboo or straw, with studio lights giving it a yellowish glow. There was some sort of table in the middle. Halfway through the door, I realized, without seeing, there was a temple guard in the room, to my immediate left.

It was the kind of feeling you get if you are in a haunted house and intuitively know that there is a ghoul or goblin waiting to scare at the next turn. For some reason, your senses pick up on it.

I wasn't scared at all really, I just immediately stepped back and said "Ah! There's a temple guard! I know it!" I stepped into the room, and sure enough, a temple guard lurches at me. If I remember correctly, while looking down at my waist for a pendant, I saw that I was a Blue Barracuda. Odd, considering I'm a die-hard Jag's fan. I don't remember much following finding that out, though.

I woke up soon after that, with nostalgic emotion. I wish I could remember more....

That's how dreams go I suppose.

Sorry for bumping a 3 month old topic, but I had one a week ago i think. Most of the dream was NOT LOTHT related.  :x  however, i was lucky to get even a sliver of lotht in one of my dreams. There were two lotht thing in the dream and both were just for a second or two i think. anyway, the first was me seeing what looked like one of those "well see if the (insert team here) can enter the temple and retreave (insert artifact here) from the temple, right after this" scenes. the second had some guy not in any team run around a track and randomly for no reason hit moat-style gongs (all 6 of them )

Well i had a dream last night. My legend dreams are now complete.

I've had 2 moat dreams. One steps of knowledge, and MANY of the temple, but last night, i had a dream, i was playing a Temple game.

It was like one of the ones where you were hooked up to an alastic cord and jumped up to grab something? It was like that except i was laying on the ground and had to walk up with a rope, and had to pull something down. While i was doing it, i looked over and could very clearly see the lazer light room and the mandrine hand.

Now ive been through the whole show in my dreams!

I had an interesting dream last night. As usual with my dreams (and my brain in general) it was very random and I suddenly found myself in the dark forest.

I noticed a tree had jutted its arms out at me and I jumped back, apparently avoid the guard.

I then walked through a concrete hallway with the missing fourth wall which I assume was the swamp/court room. There were several zombie creatures walking through the room, they were a bit disturbing.

They attempted to grab me but they were not a danger (because they were not temple guards). All these creatures meant to do was to slow me down (in my mind I connected them with the tangled vines of the swamp, not really a danger, but just something to slow you down).

As I felt the zombies press their fingers against my skin, I felt extreeme agony. I'm kind of surprised I wasn't freaked out as I usually am by things like this in dreams.

I had a legends dream last night which was odd as I hadn't had one recently.

Anyways, to make it plain and simple, I was in the temple, on the show, doing the run and I fell out of the Observatory (I apprently fell over the railing, somehow). I remember hearing one of the producers yell "OH SH--" really loudly as I was falling.. falling...... right into the Pit (but I fell off on the front, which would have made me fall onto the ground below, but in dreams I guess my brain doesn't work right.) I don't remember much after that..

I thought it was quite strange.

I had one about a few months ago.

I was riding down the elevator in the Mine Shaft. After I came down, I busted through wall, and into the Dark Forest. I reached into the right tree, and found the key practically immediately fond the key (No temple spirits). Then I made my way into the Jester's Court (season 3), and tried the middle painting first. It worked, but the room didn't darken. I ran out of time just as I was exiting the room. It was a very accurate first person view of inside the temple.

Here's a couple Legends dreams I've had.

The first was when I was like 11 and I had my partner go in first. Then Olmec lowered his gate and she ran in. I stood beside Kirk and saw that the temple was Layout Two from Season Two, my fav layout. Anyways, she met a guard in the Crypt, into the Pit of Despair and through the Observatory where she was taken out. I then ran in, having no idea how much time I had left, but I followed down the top floor anyways. I rode the elevator down, bust through the wall and found the key in the forest. But just as I entered the Swamp, a temple guard pulled me down before I could give him the pendant and then I ended up in a dark space and then small lights came on and I was spinning...yup, I ended up on Space Mountain. Weird.

This second dream I had just last night. I was in a classroom and the teacher said that we were going to perform a Legends of the Hidden Temple parody in front of some elementary kids. So the set was the treehouse at the playground I used to go to when I was really young, like 5 or 6. It was really weird. Like, my friend's parents were the temple guards and they dressed up and I was to run through the temple. We were about to start, but then we realized we didn't have a throne in the Throne Room. The teacher yelled at the guy who was supposed to do it, then a computer chair came out (coz it spins). Then I was going to run, but then someone said that the Pit was filled with rocks and it would hurt. So they ran and got buckets of sand over and emptied them out. Finally, I was going to run (for the third time) but then I realized there was nothing to do in the Crypt. Then the principal came out and yelled and then three desks came out and people were taking out yellow cereal boxes for the golden books. Anyways, I woke up after laughing at the weird cereal box "books".

Okay, here's one more for ya'll. Olmec was explaining a weird layout, a variation from Season Two, Layout Three. It had the Crypt, the Cave of Sighs, The Pit of the Pendulum, The Laser Light Room, The Swamp, Medusa's Lair, The TOmb of the Ancient Kings, The Lion Cage...yes my room! AS well as the Torch Room, The Shrine, The Knight's Barracks (yes, TAW's room), and the King's Storeroom. I started running in and down the Pit into the Throne Room--but wait...I thought it was the Laser Light Room! Anyways, I sat on it, turned it around, and entered the Swamp. It was yellow. I headed into the Tomb, but it was a dead end and I came into the BROWN SWAMP. I headed back to the Throne Room, but Medusa's wasn't open so I headed into what was now THE BAMBOO FOREST. I went upwards to the Knight's Barracks, but the doors wouldn't open, so I went down and entered now THE JESTER'S COURT. Weird, right??? Then I headed into the Dark Forest where I slipped and fell through the wall into the Lion Cage like I'd imagined it. A temple guard then pulled me through his door and I woke up.

Real strange dreams, but that's all I have now.

About 2 months ago, I had a dream that my partner made it through the temple. I don't remember much else about the dream, but it was pretty thrilling.

Also, many times when I have a Legends-type dream, there is usually a hallway behind the Jesters Court that directly links the Tomb of the Headless Kings and the Dark Forest. Weird.

Ive had 2 that I remember.

The first one was one where someone was getting chased through a Dark Forest style room on the top floor and then went up into the Observatory...and then I woke up.

The second one was one where I was on Legends and it was a 2nd Season layout. There was this room that was a mix between the Dungeon(but with a rope ladder instead of a stationary one) and the 2nd Season Mine Shaft. So I'm going through the run and I go from the Shrine to this room I'm talking about and I start to climb up the ladder but time's up. I didn't have a chance to smash through the stone wall and I really wanted to, so I did and I got arrested for smashing through the wall after time was up.

Those are the only 2 I can remember at this time.

I actually wrote about this one in my diary I had when I was a little girl.

The show was taking a commercial break and Kirk announced to the audience that his secret dream had always been to create a new word and get it in the dictionary. Then he read off a bunch of random ones to them: zimbafloggajubakini, neenersheemer, doozank, etc. The audience laughed their heads off, but he never explained what any of them meant.

I just had a dream when I woke up in the morning. I actually had a set of dreams, with the first one being an odd game show just like Family Feud, but for some reason, the scores for the bonus game was on the side of a cereal box, with the points and answers being calculated on the box.

The next one is the Legends dream I had. The setting of the studio looked a little smaller and was darker. The unique thing about the setup of the temple was that it was mostly vertical, meaning the player would only go up or down. Another strange thing was that there were four contestants, two of each color all went through the temple, one by one.

For some reason, there was a temple guard in every room or even two in one room. There were pendants, but if you got caught by the temple guard, the next player would come in. The last person went in, with only a few seconds left and finally grabbed the object, which was a huge African mask with a wide face.

But one of the most terrifying things that was in my dream was that if a player did grab the artifact, all four contestants would win a 1991 Honda Accord. When that was announced, Kirk Fogg looked shocked or awed about it, with his eyes wide open.

Finally, the credits roll and the year of production was 1990, an eerie reason for the 1991 Honda Accord to show up. One more thing, Kirk Fogg and the contestants were behind the temple and made a joke of some kind and they all laughed and the picture of them froze, with the music playing.

Here's proof that I've been watching too many old Nick gameshows (and preparing for my Halloween live shows)... It was the temple games on an episode, with the Purple Parrots moving on to the temple, and then suddenly Kirk utters something like, "We'll be back with the messiest minute on television and more Super Sloppy Double Dare right after this" but in his own voice, and suddenly the Double Dare commercial outro music begins to play. The titlecard appears, then fades to commercial and the regular "YOU ARE WATCHING... Nick GaS" bumper. Watched some random non-GaS crap afterward on the TV that I can't remember, then I woke up.

Yeah, you have been watching too many Nick game shows.

I, on the other hand, have not watched a full episode lately now that I lost my "special" excitement for Legends, although I am starting to have dreams of Legends shows with a unique form of the Temple, whether it is more realistic, bigger, smaller, or even vertical. Even in one of my dreams, the viewing of the show through my eyes looked as if it were in HD or in widescreen.

So apparently I heard something about a second interview with Zac Turney while heading through a half-frozen river on a boat (yes, this was weird).  The next thing I know, I'm in a strange dorm which is apparently part of my college, and I have a watch set for three minutes (but with a Greek/Hebrew keyboard setup for whatever reason).  I apparently have to go through a series of rooms and hallways functioning in the place of the rooms of the Season 3 Temple, except that there's no Ledges and for the Crypt, there's instead a hallway with three Pendant symbols on the walls.

Apparently it's supposed to be the Bandit Queen layout, but I somehow have my Pendant taken away in the Crypt instead.  The only door that opened was to a bathroom-like room that somehow stood for the Pit of the Pendulum... but at this point, I woke up.  What made things even weirder was that other people were running through this strange temple as well and I apparently had to return to the gate after a double seizure and play out the second player's turn as well.

Recently I had the geekiest nightmare of my life. They remade a horrible version of the show. Olmec was a robot head instead of a stone one and the entire temple was made of cardboard boxes with poorly drawn Aztec symbols.

I had a Legends of the Hidden Temple dream last night ;)

I woke up and checked my phone and I saw that they were bringing Legends back, ages 10-16 allowed now. First thing I did was tell my parents this and we later booked a flight to Orlando. There we went to the old Nickelodeon Studios lot where they were doing auditions. I would audition and go through random tests. There was a history test, which I did pretty good on knowing that I'm an A or B student ;). Then they  wanted to see how many consecutive sit-ups you can do. Being an overachiever, I would do over 100 without stopping :P. Then they pulled out the Olmec Wheel game. They wanted to see how long we can stay on this time. Then the interview happened. They just used simple questions about my life and what I would do ;). Days later, I got a call saying I made it on the show :D. So we headed back to Orlando, and went to the backlot where a whole bunch of kids and young teens were there. That was when they partnered us up. My partner was Kate, who was on the track team at her school, and we got put on the Green Monkeys . We were the third episode recorded that day so when it was time to get started on our episode, we were so excited. At that moment Kirk came on and we found out that our episode is the Football of the Ice Bowl ;). The Moat style on that day was the Rope Swing with the Net in the Middle. Kate went first and got the rope but fell in so she went again but then got the net, climbed over and swam to the other side. I would then get the rope and fall in and as I swam, I saw the other teams struggling too. Except the Silver Snakes, who as I saw when I was climbing the net, locked in to advance. So I climbed to the other side and swam across and locked in to be 2nd. The Blue Barracudas and the Red Jaguars would follow in that order (yes, the order was  :snakes2: :monkeys2: :barracudas2: :jaguars2: :P) Kirk was standing by the Silver Snakes as we were led backstage to allow the next group to go. In the waiting room, someone came in and told us the Legend. I knew a lot about the Ice Bowl and how it is one of the greatest games in Packers history. After that, Dee Baker, the voice of Olmec, came in and made sure our names were pronounced right. I knew him because he also played Numbuh 4 on Codename Kids Next Door ;). Also, to be a little off topic, have you noticed that there is a Legends pattern on that show? Numbuh 1 wears Red, Numbuh 2 wears Blue, Numbuh 3 wears Green, Numbuh 4 wears Orange, and Numbuh 5 wears like a Purplish Blue. Dee must've had something to do with this. :P Now back to Legends. A producer asked each of us who would be the one to give the answers on each team. Knowing more about the Ice Bowl, I took that job for my team. We head back to the stage and Olmec told us the Legend. "In 1967, one of the greatest games in NFL history was played, the Ice Bowl. A game between the Green Bay Packers & Dallas Cowboys for a spot in the Super Bowl. The night before it snowed so hard and the temperature dropped to -40 degrees. With coach Vince Lombardi, the fans expected the Packers to blow past the Cowboys. But Dallas kept it close. With the score 17-14 Cowboys with time ticking, quarterback Bart Starr did a QB sneak into the end zone when no one knew it was going to happen. The Packers eventually won 21-17 and  afterwards, Bart Starr threw the game ball so hard, it landed in the Temple. Your quest is to retrieve the Football of the Ice Bowl and bring it back here." Kirk asked where the football was located, and it was located in the Jester's Court. ;) During the Steps round, the questions were easy and Kate & I were the first team to make it to the Temple Games. Later the other three teams tie on the last step and the Red Jaguars met us down at the bottom thus ending the Blue Barracudas and the Silver Snakes. We then had a lunch break of Pizza Hut. That was when I found out that the Red Jaguar boy was actually my friend where I live, what are the odds . Let's make the odds even better because his partner, Holly, was actually Kate's friend.  Now we were wondering what will happen now knowing that one of us will advance. The Temple Games would decide that. The first game was for the ladies. They were hanging upside down collecting mini footballs on one side and putting them in a bucket. Red won that game so there went a half pendant. So now it's my game, we had to carry a replica of the Vince Lombardi Trophy up a huge rigging and plant it at the top. Knowing how fast I am, I won this game and scored a half pendant. So now each team has a 1/2 pendant. So we are on the final game, we had to knock down defenders (those sack dummys) with "footballs" (it was the cannonballs, so this was the Warrior games). It took a while for both teams to knock down one, but I was trying my best not to look at Red. I knocked down 2 before time ran out. So then I looked at Red's score and they had 2 as well. You know what this means, it's time for the dreaded tiebreaker . Kirk explained the rules and Olmec asked the question, which was "Who was the quarterback who made the game winning touchdown?" Before any choices were given, I rang in and said Bart Starr, which was Correct! We were going to the Temple!  We went backstage and we were given maps to plan out. We had 1 1/2 pendants so there was a half pendant somewhere. Then we were headed back and Olmec explained the layout. It was a Season 3 layout so there was challenge. Kate opted to go first so I let her. Now we found out the prizes. We already got an iPod Touch just for getting here, getting the football means we get an Xbox 360 with games, escaping means a trip to Wisconsin Dells! :D Kate ran into the Ledges where a TEMPLE GUARD took her pendant, none of the two doors opened so she went to the Crypt. She then made it to the Pit of the Pendulum and had to climb after the column was knocked down. Now she is in the King's Storeroom and smashed pots and finding the key, but the only door that opened was the Chamber, where a TEMPLE GUARD took her out. Now, I storm into the Temple following the same path into the Chamber, and as I was putting on the markers, I came upon the half pendant, so I grabbed it and went to the Ancient Warriors where a TEMPLE GUARD took my now "Full" pendant. I actually gave him the halves separated :P. I'm in the Shriiine of the Silver Monkey where I actually grab all 3 pieces and assembled the Monkey BEFORE I put it on the pedestal. I notice the Dark Forest open and I found the key in the Tree which opened the Jester's Court. I grabbed the Football with 30 seconds left and went through the bottom floor and escaped with 5 seconds left. We had won!!!! :D  I was so happy and we won the trip. That was when my dream ended and I woke up... in the Dells. So, guess who's on vacation. :P
