KIRK: Okay! So here we have the Purple Parrots, Silver Snakes, Red Jaguars, and Orange Iguanas! We'll see who can answer enough questions from today's legend to reach the temple games! Olmec, what IS today's legend?

OLMEC: A long time ago, in the age of the pirates, when people lived on boats and buried their treasure, there was a captain named Jack Sparrow.
But Jack owed the legendary ghost pirate Davy Jones some souls to join his crew.

DAVY: Jack, bring back some souls for my crew.

OLMEC: Jack didn't want to.

JACK: Let's not and say I did. Savvy?

OLMEC: But Davy wouldn't allow it.

DAVY: You're just asking to be fed to my giant squid, Jack.

OLMEC: So Jack gathered some souls. But Davy later held a grudge against him, and sent his goons. Jack had discovered that Davy's one weakness was his heart, which he kept in a box. Jack stole the heart, and hid it in a jar of dirt he had bought from a witch.

JACK: HaHa! Just try and find your heart, squid head!

OLMEC: But, Davy's crew fed Jack to the Kraken, Davy's pet squid. But the jar was recovered, and placed in the shrine of the golden monkey for safe keeping. It is your job to find it!

The Questions:

1: Who was Jack running from?
A: Blackbeard
B: Davy Jones
C: Anne Bonny

2: What part of him was Davy's weakness?

A: Brain
B: Foot
C: Heart

3: How did Jack get the jar?

A: Bought it
B: Stole it
C: Found it

4: From who did Jack buy the jar?

A: A pirate
B: A baseball player
C: A witch

5: What sea creature was Davy Jones' head?

A: Squid
B: Crab
C: Penguin

6: What is the kraken?

A:  A canyon
B: Davy Jones' giant squid
C: A brand of tofu

Winners: Red Jaguars, Purple Parrots

KIRK: Don't you worry, iguanas and snakes, because you too have a prize!

It's just that it's a legend based on a movie not even a year old.

I say it can be continued as a Fanfic, but kept out of the canon of season five.

Just beacuse it's only a year old dosen't mean it can be an ep. In fact, I only wrote this as it was one of the ideas posted and I liked it, it's not my fault. It's Bluebarracuda7's.

How is it his fault? He's not holding a gun up to your head forcing you to write about it.

I thought it was an interesting idea! If you don't have anything good to say don't say it. Anyway, let's go back on topic before this becomes a flame war.

It already has. Here's the golden rule in the Treasure Room:

Fan fics should be based off history, not fictional movies.

Give'im a break. He tried something different and it kinda didn't work but the important thing is he gave it a try.

About the subject of the Legend.... the movie is certainly NOT based in a year ago's time so i don't see what's wrong with it.

...Cupid is fictional.

Look, guys. Fan fiction is fan fiction. Whether it would actually work or not in the show is unimportant unless there's a written rule somewhere that states so, which of course, there isn't. Just... enjoy people's efforts. We don't need to be so critical when we're making these things for fun!

KIRK: You've made it to here, the temple games! On the side of the Purple Parrots, we have Samuel, he likes to draw knights and collects figurines, and Abby, she likes Language Arts class in school. But they'll have to defeat the Red Jaguars, Vincent who likes reading about dinosaurs, and Sandra who likes birdwatching. Olmec?

OLMEC: Jack had to outrun Davy Jones' men to get to the heart and hide it. Here, you boys will play the part of Jack. You must, without dropping the jars, run to the heart, throw it in the jar, and return without being caught by the guards. Then you'll get half a pendant. GO!

(Samuel gets there first, but a temple guard gets him. He drops the jar, loses the heart, and has to look for it. Vince gets there back before Samuel can)

OLMEC: And the half pendant goes to the Red Jaguars! The pirates, with limited food supplies, had to eat biscuits, or hardtack as they were called. They ate in the dark because of the bugs hiding in the dough. The girls, for another half pendant, need to find the one buiscut in each barrel without the bugs inside. You have three minutes. GO!

(No one gets the right biscuit in time)

KIRK: Too bad! To get the pendant, you'll have to answer Olmec's tiebreaker.

OLMEC: Where was the location of most pirates in their day?

(Sandra buzzes in)

SANDRA: The bahamas?

OLMEC: No. Abby, it's your go.

ABBY: The carribean.

OLMEC: Yes. The half pendant goes to the purple parrots!

KIRK: Now that you each have a half pendant, you should work together to get the full pendant.

OLMEC: Indeed. This one will be staged in the moat. You will need to use cooperation to escape the kraken, repersented here by this inflatable octopus. If it touches you, you must go back to the start. First one across wins. GO!

(The teams swim across the moat. Kirk throws in the kraken. The red jaguars choose to swim underwater so the kraken won't touch them, but when Vince comes up for air he touches the kraken and they have to swim back. The purple parrots choose to swim in zigzags with a spotter in the back, and reach the end.)

OLMEC: And the pendant goes to the Purple Parrots!

KIRK: Looks like they're going to the temple to get back Jack's jar. The jaguars were not so hot, but they still win a prize.

Um? I'm sorry, but I don't remember anyone making that rule, and seeing as how I am the admin, I am the only one who needs to be making any rules, you could write a legends fanfic about a sock if you really wanted to. There are no bounds within the fanfiction, as long as you aren't disturbing someone.

IMO this is definetely too long to wait.  Perhaps Dr. Thinker could write the Temple Run, after all, it's his layout, as the first post confirms.

Hell at this point might as well wait for the third one to come out. Only a few months left. I'll have my job at the theater by then. Despite how this one sort of went off corse, it was a pretty interesting idea, I'd like to see how it works out for us.

Since Mono did not post anything, I give you my ending to his temple run. I will only do summaries/temple run pictures for my own LOTH shows--someone else will have to the work. I know that Purple Parrots had gotten to the Temple--but I assumed they won 1 and half pedents.

--FAN-FICTION------

Olmec: The Purple Parrot prove that you are worthy of entering my Temple. Assigned to three room are the three Temple Guardians--when I give you the signal--make you way to the Shrine of the Golden Monkey to get the dirt jar.

Abby: I am.

Olmec: Very well, Abby. (Kirk gvess Abby her full Pendent of Life). You can give your Pendent of Life to a Temple Guardian to go on--but if you get caught it will be Samul's turn in the temple. Samul, somewhere in temple, is the other half of your Pendent--if you find it--you will get a extra life. ((Kirk gives Samul's his earned half Pendent of Life) If you can take the dirt jar out of the temple, you will be handsomely reward--and here' how....

(For just getting to the Temple : A portable DVD player
Getting the Dirt Jar in 3 mintunes: They get a moutain bike)
Getting the Dirt Jar out of the Temple in 3 mintunes = A trip
to Hawaii)

Olmec: Set the clock for 3 mintunes. (Olmec allows the gate.)

(Abby runs into the Bell Room at 2:45-and meets up with her
first temple guard--and gives up a a Pendent of Life. The first Bell she
rings opens the Bell/Stairs door.)

(Abby enters the Mysterious Hallway of Stairs at 2:37. She is able to open the Witch/Stair door.)

(Abby enters the Witch's Lair at 2:30. She is able to throw the snakes into the pot--that unlocks the Witch/Mirror ladder--and a Temple Guard. It's Timmy's turn.)

(Timmy runs into the Anceint Sewers and meets up with the final temple at
2:10)

Kirk: Oh, man.  I guess the Temple Guardians didn't think Purple Parrots
were worthy. We see you next time for another great Legend of the Hidden Temple....

Intresting? that ranks as the first time Temple Guards are located in both entrance rooms, only the second time the run is stopped by a Guard in an entrance room and the quickest capture, by far! Just curious, were you just in a rush to write it or you really wanted to give it such a weird finish?

Can I get away with saying a Temple Spirt got control of me?  Seriously, I don't mind the entrance or the Step of Knowdegle--but I hate to say--Mondo Mole needs to steal games from LOTH instead of creating his own. After the boring Temple Games, I wanted something a little punch to live up the show--so to speak.

I understand now.  It's true, each episode has to have something that makes it stick out.  I figure Mondo Mole only had a moderate concept of how the show worked (evident by his creation of a tiebreaker for the first Temple Game,) so I see why you made a unique finish.  It sure would've made an intresting 3 minutes? er? 50 seconds on TV.
