*the camera zooms in on an ancient lush jungle, the palms are moving away as an elephant is heard.  all the palms are gone, showing Olmec*

Olmec: Legends of the Hidden Temple. With your guide? Kirk Fogg!

*Kirk is shown slidding down a zipline & jumping off into the usual area*

Olmec: And here he is now.

Kirk: Thank you everyone. Thank you Olmec. Welcome to Legends of the Hidden Temple. The rooms are filled with lost treasures that are protected by mysterious Mayan temple guards. Only Olmec knows the legend behind each of the treasures in his temple. Which one are we going to hear about today?

Olmec: The Legend of the Teddy Bear of Theodore Roosevelt

Kirk: Oh!! The Teddy Bear of Theodore Roosevelt! Well, one of these six teams will have the chance to retrieve the bear. Will it be *camera zooms into each team as they cheer & the usual* The Red Jaguars? The Blue Barracudas? The Green Monkeys? The Orange Iguanas? The Purple Parrots? Or the Silver Snakes? They?re going to have to pass some tough mental and physical tests, and in the end, only one team will have the right to enter Olmec?s temple, but first they have to cross the moat, and Olmec will tell us how they?ll have to do it today.

Olmec: Before you lies a small raft in the moat. When Kirk gives the signal, the first player will lie on the raft, and swim to the other side. When they make it there, the second player must pull the raft back, and it will be their turn to swim across. Once the second player reach the other side, they must run over and hit the gong. *Kirk bangs the Silver Snakes? gong*. The first four teams to hit their gong will go on to the next round.

Kirk: Alright, teams are you ready?!

*the teams cheer*

Kirk: Olmec, are you ready?!

Olmec: Let's Rock!

Kirk: On your marks? get set? GO!!!!!

(Event occurs)

Kirk: Excelent job everyone, all the teams had some trouble, but going on the Steps of Knowledge are the Orange Iguanas! (applause) The Green Monkeys! (applause) The Blue Barracudas! (applause) And the Red Jaguars! (applause) Purple Parrots and Silver Snakes, that was a tough moat to cross. They won't be going away empty-handed - we've got a nice gift for them, and here's what it is.

KIRK: As the quest continues, it?s now time for Olmec to tell us about the Teddy Bear of Theodore Roosevelt . But teams, pay attention, because your knowledge of the legend can bring you a step closer to Olmec's Temple.

Olmec: The 26th president of the United States of America was Theodore Roosevelt. Before be coming President, he served as Vice-President under William McKinley. When McKinley was assassinated, Roosevelt took control. Not only was he a fair President to people due to his ?Square Deal,? he was also a great huntsman. One day, according to legend, Roosevelt had a bad day of hunting in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

Roosevelt: ?Oh rubbish!! Not a single Bear, Deer, or Fish today. Why I didn?t even catch a cold.?

Olmec: One of the maids at the Hotel Colorado noticed how mad he was, so she decided to cheer him up by presenting to him a stuffed bear. It?s able to calmed him down. Soon after he returned from his hunting trip, he gave the bear to his daughter Alice.

Roosevelt: ?Here you go my dear.?

Alice: ?I love it. I?ll call it Teddy.?

Olmec: The Stuffed doll, Teedy Bear, became famous world-wide, and Alice never let her teddy bear go, until the day it got to the temple. Your quest is to retrieve the Teddy Bear of Theodore Roosevelt and bring it back here.

Kirk: Thank you Olmec. Tell us the bear is.

Olmec: The Teddy Bear of Theodore Roosevelt can be found in the Bee Hive.

OK. Teams, you are standing on the Steps of Knowledge. In a minute, Olmec will ask you a question. If you think you know the answer, stomp down on the ancient marking in front of you. If you?re right, you?ll move down to the next level. If you?re wrong or run out of time, I?m going to give the other teams a chance to answer. The first two teams to make it to the bottom level will be one step closer to Olmec?s Temple. Olmec, we are now ready for your first question.

(Event happens)

Kirk: That's it! We got our two teams! Going on to the Temple Games are the Red Jaguars and the Orange Iguanas. Blue Barracudas and Green Monkeys gave it a great effort, both were one step away from the games. We got a prize for both of them, and here it is.

*$50 gift Card from Foot Locker*

Kirk: *only Red Jaguars & Orange Iguanas are present* These two teams are hyped, and will play for the right to enter Olmec's Temple. And they'll do it after this.

KIRK: Welcome back to Legends! Now the glory goes to the fastest and the strongest. But before we get started, let?s get to know our team players. On the Red Jaguars, we have Jake. He is on the footbal team and loves video games. And his partner Amanda plays tennis and is a stright A student. Let?s hear it for the Red Jaguars!

KIRK: And on the Orange Iguanas, we have Mario. He reads Mysteries and likes to go trveling. And his partner Lori is a cheerleader and wants to be a vet. Let?s hear it for the Orange Iguanas!

KIRK: OK teams, go set up for your games, and I?ll tell you what?s going to happen. (To audience) In the temple games, teams are competing to win Pendants of Life. (Kirk pulls a pendant out of his pouch and shoves it in front of the camera.) The winning team will need those pendants to protect themselves from the dreaded temple guards as they make their way through the temple. There are three temple games. (To Olmec) Olmec, tell us about temple game number one.

Olmec: Theodore's daughter Alice named the stuffed bear Teddy, but she did had a hard time naming it. Before you is some cotton with letters inside. When Kirk gives the singal, look inside the cotton for a letter in the word "Teddy." Once you do, run over and place it on your board. Then run back and try again. The first team to spell out the word Teddy or the one that is further along in 60 seconds wins!

Kirk: It's a spelling bee, or spelling bear...let's put 60 seconds on the clock...Ready...Set..GO!!

(Event Happens)

Kirk: Okay, times up! Let's see Lori has the letters T-E-D, but Amanda has T-E-D-D, so the Red Jaguars gets the .5 Pendant of Life. (applause) Orange iguanas can catch up in the next game its worth a .5 pendant. Olmec tell us about it.

Olmec: Another nickname Theodore Roosevelt had was "Rough Rider" due to his efforts in the Spanish-American War.  Before you are four enemy soliders of the war. When Kirk gives the singal, load a cannonball on to the slingshot, and fire at the enemy. If you knock over your opponent's enemy, it will be reseted. The team that knocks over all four of their enemies, or the one that is further along in 60 seconds wins.

Kirk: We're going to war, let's put 60 seconds on the clock...Ready..Set...GO!!

(Event Happens)

Kirk: Thats it!  With 2 seconds left, Mario knocked the last enemy down so the Orange Iguanas wins the .5 Pendant of Life. (applause) We have a tie with a .5 pendant a piece, the last game is worth a full pendant.  Olmec, explain the last game.

Olmec: The Teddy Bear became famous world-wide. Before you are four world cities: New York City, London, Paris, and Tokyo. When Kirk gives the singal, the first player will use the slingshot to fire a teddy bear to their partner, then place the bear into the city. After that, they will climb to the next city and do it again. The first team to place a teddy bear on all four cities, or the one that is further along in 60 seconds wins.

Kirk: Time to go around the world, let's put 60 seconds on the clock. This IS for the Temple, on your marks...get set...GO!!

(Event Happend)

Kirk: Times up! Let's see, both teams have a bear on New York City and London, so both teams get the full pendant. (applause) We still have a tie with a pendant and a half so well go to a tie-breaking question. Let's bring out the tie-breaking pedestal.

(Pedestal brought out)

Kirk: Okay, hers how it works: Olmec will read you one more question. If you buzz-in and get it right, then your team will enter Olmec's Temple searching for the Teddy Bear of Theodore Roosevelt. But, if you buzz-in and get it wrong or run out of time, your opponents will get a chance to answer. Olmec, give us the last question.

Olmec: Theodore Roosevelt served 2 terms as president. How long is that: 2 years, 4 years, or 8 years?

(Red Jaguars buzzed in)

Kirk: Red Jaguars.

Amanda: 4 years?

Olmec: Incorrect

(Orange Iguanas buzzed in)

Kirk: Orange Iguanas.

Lori: 8 years?

Olmec: That IS correct!

Kirk: The Orange Iguanas are going to the Temple!! Excelent job by both teams. Red Jaguars, gerat effort it came down to the wire. We have a great gift for you and here it is.

*$50 gift card from Bolckbuster Videos*

Kirk: *only Orange Iguanas are present* Lets see if the Orange Iguanas can get through Olmec's Temple, retrieve the Teddy Bear of Theodore Roosevelt right after this.

KIRK: Welcome back to Legends. The Orange Iguanas, Mario and Lori, have proven themselves worthy and now have earned the right to enter Olmec?s temple. But before they get started, Olmec?s going to give them that information to help them retrieve the Teddy Bear of Theodore Roosevelt.

OLMEC: You could start by running up the stairs to the Room of the Bronzed Gongs. Hit all 3 gongs and pass into the Walk of Fate. walk on the beam across the pit to enter the Bee Hive, where you can grab the Teddy Bear of Theodore Roosevelt. Pull the correct bee from it's hive to head down into the Harp Room. Pluck the correct harp string to enter the Room of the Ancient Warriors. Place yourself in the correct armor and open the door to the Shrine of the Silver Monkey. Assemble the statue and you may be headed for the Sliver Bell Sanctuary. Ring the correct bell and you?ll gain access to the Pharaoh?s Secret Passage. Slide down the tunnel to the Cargo Hold where you could smash into Dracula's Layer. But beware the Temple Guard that may be in the coffin! Spin the dial to turn night into day, and you?ll enter the Cyclops? Den. Place the correct jewel in the statue?s eye and pass into the Throne Room. Sit on the Throne of the Pretender to open the doors. Then race through the Pit, climb through the Ledges, race down the stairs and back through the temple gate. The choices are yours and yours alone! You won one and a half pendants in the temple games. Who?s going first?

Mario: I AM!!

Olmec: Very well, Mario. When Kirk gives the signal, you?ll race through the gates into the temple and make your way towards the teddy bear. Hidden inside the temple are temple guards assigned to protect three specific rooms. You can trade your pendant for an extra life and go on, BUT if you?re caught without a pendant, you?ll be taken out of the temple, and it will be Lori?s turn to enter and try her luck. Hidden somewhere in the Temple is the other half of your pendant.  If you can find it and you have the other half, then you get and extra life. If you can reach the teddy bear, all the doors of the temple will instantly unlock, and the temple guards will vanish. Return through the gates with the Teddy Bear of Theodore Roosevelt in three minutes, and you will both be handsomely rewarded?and here?s how!

*Going into the Temple= a Color TV*
*Reaching the Teddy Bear within 3 minutes= Pizza for a Year from Papa John's*
*Makeing it out of the temple with the Teddy Bear within 3 minutes= a Trip to Costa Rica*

Kirk: Mario and Lori want that trip let's see what happens. Mouth pieces are in and Mario is in position...let's put 3 minutes on the clock...Olmec, lower your gate please.

(Olmec moans while Gate is lowered)

Kirk: On your marks...Get set...GO!!
