Title: Hurt and Heal: Legends Teams!

So we had a thread here a long time ago, hurting and healing all six Legends teams. Red and Green were eliminated first, and Blue and Purple ended up being the final two, with Purple winning. :mrblue: :mrpurple: I realize this game has already been done. But since this was a long time ago, I figure our opinions have changed over time. So why not do it again? ;)

RULES:
Three times a day, you can hurt a team (-1) and heal another (+1) until that team point count reaches 0, at which point they are eliminated. I'll change the number of points we hurt or heal somewhere in the game as we go along. I hope twice a day is a decent time window. Since this is about six teams after all. Which shouldn't take too long ;)

There will be three rounds, each corresponding to a round in the show. The first two losing teams will be eliminated at the moat, next two teams will be eliminated on the Steps, one team will be eliminated at the temple games, etc. If there are some rules and guidelines I need to change, then I'll edit this post and change it accordingly. Oh yeah, and have fun! :mrpurple:

Personally, the Orange Iguanas are my least favorite team on the show. Boring color and they had a lot of temple appearances and most of them suck. I think I only like 5 or 6 out of them 20+ times they went to the temple.

The Blue Barracudas are a classic team though. They had many wonderful episodes and I loved the color of their shirt and logo looked awesome.  :mrblue:

Also, do you guys think that twice a day is a good waiting period for your next vote? Or should I bump it to three times a day? Just wondering. ;)

Three would be fine. There's no time limit in space between votes so even if it's a bit much you could just do all of your votes at once.

+1 to Blue Barracudas for having my single favorite team of all time.

The Green Monkeys had the best episodes on the show, but I don't think I can vote them over Blue or Purple. One reason was because I was not a fan of the green color used by the Green Monkeys. Plus, it is insane the number of times they went to the temple games and even the temple in Season 3. I don't have a problem with most of their episodes (except Xerxes and Cosa Rara), but I like the other two teams better.

Also, their logo looks a little silly too. It looks like a Monkey frolicking in a field of flowers. :afro:

The Green Monkeys were definitely the most successful team on the show overall. It's honestly tough to vote against them for that reason alone. I like the other two colors better, with purple being my favorite color, but the Barracudas had some legendary moments and the Green Monkeys are probably the best team in the show's history. This is going to be hard! I hope more users get in on this now that it's really down to the wire.

I really like the Green Monkeys. But their constant temple appearances in Season 3 made me leery of them. And I like their colors and their logo. ;) But the Blue Barracudas and the Purple Parrots deserve my heals more.

Green Monkeys are awesome and they have a lot of episodes I love - Chandragupta, Emiliano Zapata, Lawrence of Arabia, Apanuugpak, Pirate Captain, Ivan the Terrible, and many more. I wasn't a fan of their dark colors though. And all of their temple game and temple run appearances in Season 3 also made me a little bitter towards them. Great team that arguably had the best of the best of players on the show. ;)

I agree, but am I the only one who likes their colors and their logo? I especially liked how their shirts looked in Season 2. Probably because of the lighting that season had. But their logos were a little too big though. And I also agree that their constant dominance in Season 3 made me leery of them. ;)

Now it is going to be hard to vote from here on out! I love both of these teams for different reasons. :S

I want the Blue Barracudas to win it all though. I just like them slightly better than the Purple Parrots. They had the best colors on the show, I love their logo, and enjoy most of their episodes. Also 2/5 of their episodes are in my top 5 (Lost Gold Mine and Annie Taylor).  :mrblue: I love the Purple Parrots too for being the underdog and they have a lot of great episodes - Billy the Kid, Freydis, and Metal Beard. In the end though, Blue slightly beats Purple.

This is hard for me too. Purple is my favorite color but the Barracudas had my favorite episode and actually the Monkeys have even more memorable moments than the Parrots do. The Parrots are the ultimate underdogs and I love that about them. I really don't know which way to go with this.

So some opinions haven't changed too much, lol.

It felt weird voting against the Parrots. But the Barracudas were historically the more successful team, at least as far as temple runs go. Parrots seemed to be really good at killing the temple games but then just having nothing left for the temple run.

Yeah, the Purple Parrots usually dominated all the pre temple rounds, but then blew it in the temple. The Blue Barracudas however, had A LOT of dominate teams, and have a better lose/win ratio for 2 pendant runs. Plus, they had an excellent track record for the temple games in Season 3. They advanced 5/7 temple game appearances, and went to the temple 4/5 times with 2 pendants. That's something even the Purple Parrots can't say. The Blue Barracudas were a more dominant team honestly.

But anyways, the Blue Barracudas are going to the temple! :mrblue: :mrblue: :mrblue: :mrblue: :mrblue:

I didn't know how it was going to shake out, but just about everyone agreed on Blue being the better team so it was like "why delay the inevitable"?

Congrats to the Blue Barracudas! They were definitely my favorite team on the show. I loved the color of their shirts and their logo was the best one on the show.  :mrblue: I really don't have any hate towards any of their episodes except Jean Lafitte and Lucky Pig. 2 of their episodes are in my top 5 favorite wins also.  :mrblue: They definitely deserved to win.  :mrblue:

And I liked how you included all of their wins too.  :mrblue: I would probably add Golden Jaguar and Red Sash to your collection too. Both of those episodes were great. And oh yeah, they also had Geronimo.  8)

So our opinions didn't really change that much. Green definitely wasn't one of the first teams eliminated either, which is good. :lol:

Yeah for sure! Just a refresher!

We should be done with the steps in a few days right? There's only like three or four combinations left. And the greatest episode tournament is about to be over. So we're close to finishing off two fairly long ongoing polls. We'll definitely need some more content soon.

How about doing a Hurt/Heal temple games for Temple Rooms? I don't recall ever doing one here for that subject. At least when I was around.

What if we did a poll for each room space?

For example:
-Heart Room
-Fallen Columns
-Medusa's Lair
-Mandarin Hand
-Chamber of the Sacred Markers

And we vote on which is the best room for each room space and then once that's over we hurt/heal the 12 winners.

We would strike the most memorable episode first, and then eventually rank the Top 10 most forgettable episodes. And if we do the "Most Memorable Episode" thread, it would be the opposite. Get rid of the forgettable episodes first, then rank the Top 10 most memorable episodes. ;)
