I say either Larry's monkey assembly or Kelly from "The Jeweled Necklace of Montezuma" monkey assembly was the worst out of all the contestants. Both players entered the Shrine with around 45 seconds left on the clock and both contestants still didn't complete the objective either before time was up. Kelly even dropped the monkey's torso over the edge, has it thrown back up to her, and STILL couldn't complete it. Larry just couldnt get his together at all. Other bad monkey assemblies:

- Jessica ("The Lost Logbooks of Magellan") - Longest monkey assembly ever
- Nick ("Henry VIII's Great Seal") - He was looking for monkey pieces in the cabinets. -_-
- Kristen ("The Lucky Pig of Amelia Earhart") - Never mind the fact that she just wasted almost thirty seconds to assemble the monkey. She also wastes another 10+ seconds because she never put the head on the right way.
- Terry Kay ("The Treasure Map of Jean Lafitte") - She had a hard time assembling the monkey also, and it didn't help that she took forever to get the pieces.
- Albert ("The Dragon Lady and the Blue Pearl") - He put the monkey torso first on the base of the Shrine and it wasn't until he got his head together that he assembled it the right way.
- Jessica ("The Plumed Headdress of Cosa Rara") - IIRC, she struggled pretty bad with the monkey.
- Joel ("The Enormous Iron Nose Ring") - It must've took him 30+ seconds to assemble the monkey. Slowest monkey assembly for a temple victor?
- Kim ("The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh") - See sig. She just couldn't put the pieces together and was jabbing them in order to make them fit.
- Jeremy ("The Golden Spider Web of Robert the Bruce") - He grabbed all three pieces at once and was sloppy with assembling the monkey. Didn't he almost drop a piece over the edge? And you're not David from "Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress", so don't try getting all three pieces at once.
- Tess ("The Dried Ear of Corn of Sojourner Truth") - She assembled the entire monkey backwards and had to waste time turning it around.

You meant Kristen from Lucky Pig, right? ;)

Also, Tess from "The Dried Ear of Corn of Sojourner Truth" tried to assemble the monkey with its back facing us.

Yeah, I meant that Kristen.

And I agree about Tess too. I even think she assembled the entire monkey backwards before she had to turn it around? I will add her to the list too.

And I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet: Derek from "The Upside Down Compass of Henry Hudson" dropped the monkey over the edge. Even though time was running out, he still grabbed the monkey pieces rather clumsily.

Well, according to The Mandarin Hand's old set of detailed stats, Jessica from "The Lost Log Books of Magellan" took the most time to successfully put the monkey together, with 32 seconds, but Kristin and Kim were up there with 30 seconds each and Joel and Shane with 28 each.

But for worst attempt, I'd have to say Kelly.  Larry's disasterpiece might have looked worse, but Kelly had forty-five seconds and even dropped the torso over the ledge, and still didn't get it by the end.

I totally forgot that Shane almost took half a minute to assemble the Silver Monkey. :o Another reason that I don't find that temple run so amazing.

And I can't believe we went this long without mentioning Evan from "The Stolen Arm of Shiva". Just look at TSM's sig for reference. I guess the "Shiva" episode being so forgettable didn't help.

I would agree that Larry's attempt was the worst. IMO, he didn't even realize that the belly was upside down and he just jammed the head down for the sake of completing the monkey ASAP.

To give the others some credit, at least they either managed to assemble the money OR didnt assemble it wrongly (although they just didnt manage to assemble it despite sufficient time)

Anyway i would like to ask you all, which silver monkey assembly did you like from which player? :)

I say David from "Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress" was my favorite monkey assembly. He grabbed all three pieces at once and then assembled the Silver Monkey with all of the pieces in hand. He didn't even fumble or drop any of the pieces.

Jarrid from "Pirate Captain" had an awesome monkey assembly too.
