...that you would change?
Me:
-a half-pendant bonus for the Temple-bound team that has either just one pendant or a pendant-and-a-half, provided that they win two of the Temple Games outright.
-the tiebreaker would be best-of-3; an incorrect answer or running out of time would be an automatic point for the other team.
-
I've been thinking about this for ages... for years... and yet I cannot name a single thing I would change about the show. Honestly, it's a masterpiece as far as show formats go. Everything is well-balanced, yet it's not over 'til it's over...
Aha! The one thing I'd change about the show--not canceling it.
Also, I wish there was another third-story room to vary up the temple designs a bit.

If the kids can't make it out of the temple in time, they should trap the kids in there. Forever.

I wouldn't change it much at all... Cept i would have the Purple Parrots win more.

Oh, i just thought of something: I definitely would have temple layout changes in Season 3.
-
Something I'd change hands down: more Purple Parrots victories. I'm even thinking of making fanfics recreating an actual episode to make it so the Purple Parrots win more and stuff. lol
-
I would like a Blue Barracuda's win in season 3
-
I would like less Green Monkey bashing in the fanbase.
-
... there's Green Monkey bashing? I always thought the Green Monkeys were among the more popular teams and that the Purple Parrots were the most mocked team.

Yeah, so did I.
-
Actually, is there a bashing of any team right now? And on what grounds would people bash teams? The Green Monkeys are my second favorite team behind the Orange Iguanas...
-
I coulda sworn around the first few weeks that people were commenting about how much the Green Monkeys won especially during the third season. If this really happened, I guess I misinterpreted. If not, let this serve as a warning about the necessity of proper room ventilation.

Definitely better prizes for the contestants. They were really skimping at times during the show's run. A $50 savings bond for losing in a tiebreaker after the Temple Games? Weak.

I second that. Even if one doesn't make it past the moat, Kooshlings are not acceptable.

Are you kidding!?!? Kooshlings were teh ultimate prize! Even better than tuna!
PS, today they got a Spive Girls album and video for not making it across the most today. Wouldn't that have been considered a good prize back then (for the girls)?

there would be 2 things that i would change. better prizes and a half-pendant award for winning the tiebreaker.
-
that would not be fair for those teams who earned 2 pendants
-
If they won two pendents, they wouldn't need a half

So, you never want a team to go into the temple with one pendant? I suppose that's possible, but I like having the three different outcomes as it is now.
-
yea maybe that was a bad idea i
-
I think about the only thing I'd change would be in the cases of only winning a single pendant, hide the second pendant in the temple like they did with the half pendant.
And I agree re the parting gifts. The kooshlings savings bond, not so bad....the Quik and Ring Pops...bad.

ANother thing I'd change:
The room in the upper left corner should have needed to have its objective completed before the elevator would be activated.

I agree. I consider that one of the big improvements in Season 3, having to read the passwords to enter the Quicksand Bog. They actually made the kids work, rather than just jump in an elevator.

But don't forget in The Smashed Printing Plate of Frederick Douglass, the frontrunner was able to open the door without completing the objective.
-
That actually happened in Henry VIII's Great Seal. The objective of the Pirate's Cove was to spin the wheel enough to lift the block... Nick entered the Pirate's Cove and the block was already lifted before he climbed down.
-
this is about if a team only has one pendant they should hide another pendant in the temple. what if they hid half a pendant in one place and another half in another place

The Spice Girls broke in 1996. Legends stopped filming in 1994. Most of the prizes we say today are new advertisements inserted in the regular episodes, evident by the random announcer's voice.
-
EDIT: I never liked him as much as Dee.
-
That announcer SUCKED compared to Dee.
That would be Doc Holiday who announced the last season of Family Double Dare. He also did alot of the announcements for Nick Arcade as well that were inserted over the old ones.

Interesting to know. Most of the Double Dare episodes I've seen are with the great Harvey.
-
The least Nick could have done was had Dee Bradley Baker redub the new prizes. He was still working for Nickelodeon (he was on The Journey of Allen Strange in 1997, only two years after Legends' cancellation). I'm sure he would gladly have dubbed in the new prizes.

I agree. Even though most of the consolation prizes were bad, he still tried to make them sound exciting, e.g., "For the lllllllllllooooooooooniest in video game action!".
-
Oh my, and also his should-be-famous ''bounce higher than EVER!'' with the freakishly high voice in the Moon Shoes givaways.
-
I'd change Kirk's wardrobe
and hair...don't forget that!
