Title: Retro Nick Shows Podcast site up
Post by: Toltendo on June 25, 2010, 02:12:45 PM
So I just created the site to hold the podcasts, but right now, it's bare bones so until we get a recording done, hopefully the first episode will be up and running.

Well, it wasn't bad considering it was the first test.  There were a couple points where I felt you talked a little slower than necessary, but overall it sounded like something you could actually hear in a radio show, so that's pretty good. :)

Btw, I realize I haven't added you on Skype yet.  I will the next time I log in; I just haven't felt like getting on there and voice-chatting with anyone recently. ^^;

As for the podcast itself, I'm wondering if I can offer a little advice.  If you want to get things moving and make progress quickly, it may be difficult to get everyone online at the same time, so it could help to try to keep to a semi-regular scheduling (one recording every other week or every month) and try to see who's online and who isn't.  Over the course of a few podcasts, a somewhat regular group of guests will develop, but at the same time, having a bit of fluidity in that regard also keeps things a bit unexpected for listeners. :wink:
