What temple run did you think had the dumbest pair of people?

Well that was a bit harsh, but I'll let it slide seeing as how you can't really look past their lack of temple knowledge.

The second runner in the golden chains of Xenobia was the one who got me. By the time the clock got down to 1:30 I knew it was over.

Jackie from The Oracle Bowl of Delphi is pretty pathetic as well.

Hands down, John & Tia from The Golden Cricket Cage of Khan. They had my mom screaming at them when it came on recently.

Yeah, those two from the 'Cricket Cage' episode were the worst in my book.

I haven't seen the Golden Cricket Cage episode yet, but judging by the comments about that episode, it sounds like a pretty bad one. Anyways, the temple runs with the dumbest pair of people IMO are:
1. The 2nd runner in the "Oracle Bowl Of Delphi"
2. The 2nd runner in the "Golden Chains of Zenobia"
3. The frontrunner in the "Broken Trident Of Posiden"
4. The frontrunner in "Blackbeards Treasure Map"
Thats about it for now...

My cousin told me Albert (The Blue Pearl (The Dragon Lady &)) was pretty bad. He was too slow through the rooms, but not too bad. But, so far (on the tapes), she only saw:

The Treasure of Anne Bonny
The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh
The Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain
The Blue Pearl (The Dragon Lady &)

That reminds me, Ron (The Treasure of Anne Bonny) really sucked too.

There are way too many dumb players to name, but here are a few I remember:

Kim from John Henry's Lost Hammer--She kept banging on the doors, thinking that was how you progressed. As soon as I saw that, I gave up hope on the entire run.

Ryann from The Walking Stick of Harriet Tubman--The girl ran into the entrance her partner didn't use. Her time expired seconds later.

Akela from The Golden Pepperoni of Catharine de'Medici--I don't think I need to explain this one.

The Green Monkeys from The Electrified Key of Benjamin Franklin--Although they didn't make it to the Temple, the boy hit the gong on the tiebreaker before Olmec finished the question. As it turns out, the answer the boy gave was not even one of the three choices.

I still think the guard in the Heart Room in that run was put there simply as a mercy killing. Watch how long it takes the guard to emerge!

Actually, she was captured and removed from the temple in the top-right room, adding insult to injury.

I would have to say

Both in The Golden Cricket Cage
Frontrunner in Trident
The kid who couldn't put the monkey together (Not sure on ep, there's a pic of him on Nick Legends, might have been Tony)

I don't have Nick Gas, so I couldn't have watched it...

I didn't think he was that bad, he even picked up speed once he reached the Shrine Of The Silver Monkey. Ron from the Treasure Of Anne Bonne Wasn't that bad either, though he did take a horrid way out of the temple. I haven't seen the golden Pepperoni or John Henry's lost hammer episode yet, but I can tell by your comments they were pretty bad. I can tell the Golden Pepperoni one was bad cuz on nicklegend's site, that girls partner fell to his knees in one picture.

Mstrgmr, I think you're talking about Larry in the Mysterious Manuscript of Mary Shelley

Purple Parrots Fan, that sucsks that you don't have GaS, but it's OK. Yeah, Albert & Ron weren't too bad, but they had their moment.

In John Henry's Lost Hammer, Kim was in the Wall Climb & was hitting her hand on the door for 30-60 seconds, & finally pressed the actuator after she heard Kirk screaming at her "PRESS THE BUTTON!"

In the Golden Pepperoni of Catherine de' Medici, Acila got into the Room of the Secret Password (where the Pepperoni was). She had like 5 seconds left. Instead of logically grabbing the Pepperoni, she got into the elevator & started going down WITHOUT THE PEPPERONI! Than time ran out & Chris fell to the ground. It was funny when Kirk was screaming "GET THE PEPPERONI!!!!!"

geez, what a bunch of morons. If I were on the show, I definately wouldn't mess up like that.
And as for not having Nick Gas, I've seen episodes on YouTube, Shrine Of The Silver Monkey and Aarons "The choices Are Yours"

Oh, I forgot the Green Monkey on the Silk Sash of Mulan... He was the only player to intentionally act stupid. I'm so glad he didn't win the temple games.

They were bad, but why didn't the door from the Heart Room to the Room of the Golden Idols open when they pressed the activator in the first place?

Ooh, ooh! Just thought of one. The guy from the Broken Wing of Icarus. Man, he had that thing won, but gave up because he couldn't reach the rope and went down, then couldn't even find his way out of the Ledges, and he still had plenty of time to get out when he entered the Ledges!

Yeah, sure. He was a guy with a moustache (I'm not kidding) who, after either the first or the second temple game, did this absolutely stupid-looking pose to the camera, like a sarcastic ''Hee hee, it's me! I'm on TV, mom!'' sort of pose, waving his hands in small circles while doing so (if I remember correctly). It's tough to explain it without seeing the episode in front of me, but it was clear he had no intention of trying hard in the show. It really ruined the episode for me.

I called him an ''idiot'' in my summary of the episode out of disgust.

They could have gone up to the Obserbatory and then go to the room of the Golden Idols from there.

Haha, the Green Monkey guy is a real idiot. All I remember was that he was in the game where you had to spin that circle as many times as possible. He was also an idiot, because he'd try to go really fast, fall off, get on & try to go at a faster speed, fall off, & so on. You get the point.

Wow, he really does sounds like an idiot lol I also saw that picture of that guy not knowing how to put together the Shrine Of The Silver Monkey, and boy did he mess up...

Lauren from The Dried Apple Half of William Tell.  It took her fifty seconds to just get to the stairwell to the King's Storeroom, where time expired.

Easily Jackie from the Oracle Bowl episode.... She brings shame to the Purple Parrots.

Also, now i shall list some more dumb kids in no particular order:
1. Lisa from "The Keys to the Alhambra" - Not trying the one door you didn't try and backtracking all the way to the entrance ofthe temple is such a good idea *sarcasm*... (Red Jaguars)
2. Ron from "The Treasure of Anne Bonny" - It shoulda been a win, but he went down the central shaft.... What a pity! (Red Jaguars)
3. The idiot girl who looked likea boy from "Blackbeard's Treasure Map" - just....idiot (Red Jaguars)
4. Justin from "The Golden Chains of Xenobia" - Ok, i'll give them that it was a hard layout, but boy was dumb. (Orange Iguanas)
5. Both kids from "The Golden Cricket Cage of Kahn" - No explaination needed. (Silver Snakes)
6. Eusinia from "King Tut's Cobra Staff" - She was easily confused. Period (Purple Parrots)
7. Kim from "John Henry's Lost Hammer" - Knocking on the doors!?!? Seriously!?!? I think I saw someone else post that the temple gaurd in the heart room was a mercy killing. I totally agree. Why else would the temple gaurd have been so delayed? (Silver Snakes)
8. Jackie from "The Oracle Bowl of Delphi" - I don't even wanna talk about it.... (Purple Parrots)

And that's just season 1! >.<

Season 2:
1.  Kim from "the Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh" - They had it in the bag and this girl had no idea where she was going! (Red Jaguars)
2. Anthony from "The Stone Head of the Evil King" - you should never be spending like more than 30 seconds trying to complete the objective of one room... (Blue Baracudas)
3. Kerry from "The Cracked Crown of the Spanish King" - I can't believe this girl never gets mentioned when talking about dumb kids. She was extremely slow and she spent the first 20 seconds of her run in the ledges because she climbed into the bottom. It took her 21 seconds to get in and out of the swamp just by walking across it. Finally the run ends with her taking a wrong turn. (Orange Iguanas)
4. Ryann from "The Walking Stick of Harriet Tubman" - Other kids have made the same mistake she made, but she was the one that made herself look like an idiot by getting taken out by the temple gaurd there. (Orange Iguanas)
5. Akela from "The Golden Pepperoni of Catherine de Medici" - GET THE PEPPERONI! (Purple Parrots)
6. Brian from "The Sacred Ring of Sultan Suleiman" - He pretty much lost it for his team in the first couple of seconds... and he screamed like a girl. (Purple Parrots)
7. Claude from "The Lost Lion Tail of Little John" - not much to say besides he didn't know what he was doing.... at all (Purple Parrots)

Season 3! (Almost done!)
1. Larry from "The Mysterious Manuscript of Mary Shelley" - Couldn't assemble the monkey to save his life. (Blue Baracudas)
2. Karissa (not sure about the name) from "The Enormous Feather of the Me Lihn" - She couldn't figure out what to do in the Quicksand Bog.... THE QUICKSAND BOG! It's not that hard! Not to mention she stood still for seconds at a time and she made no effort to move faster once she grabbed the feather. (Orange Iguanas)
3. Kelly from "The Thornwood Gavel of Judge Roy Bean" - "Rse4gfeer!@er2ffdsv!" .... Translation - "Open Sesame!" (Orange Iguanas)
4. Kimberley from "The Broken Trident of Poseidon" - She was doing so well until she put the Trident down... and then ran off without it.... *sigh* (Silver Snakes)

There.... that's all the obviously dumb kids i can think of off the top of my head. I feel kinda bad about calling them dumb.... but the proof is immortalized for all to see through the magic of TV.  :D

I was thinking...
You have to give even the stupidest-looking contestants a bit of credit. They're racing against time through a huge vertical labyrinth, while forcing forth their memory of the brief introductions to the temple's rooms, under absolutely extreme pressure. We've all been nervious before and know its consequences... perhaps some of the contestants just couldn't stand it?

Heck, the temple is designed to be intimidating. The guards don't help it either. The contestants, while some obviously brighter than others, are all under that same pressure to do well and win the vacation.

They just make it look so easy. I've done temple runs with every layout in my head over and over (and a few in lucid dreams) and I just can't seem to find where they would mess up...except for one factor, knowing they are on national TV. That would probably screw me up too. I think I could handle that better if I was the second runner.
