You'd think the second episode would've been either The Jeweled Necklace of Montezuma, The Lucky Medallion of Atocha or The Golden Jaguar of Atahualpa.

Notes for The Applewood Amulet of Emiliano Zapata:
? The Moat lasted about 15 minutes, the mist just vanished completely when Kirk was announcing which teams would go on.
? The "Teams, are you ready?" bit was edited out, but the "Olmec, are you ready?" piece was left.  That doesn't usually happen that way.
? I think the Blue Barracuda knocked their podium button off the gong and had to go pick it up and place it back in position.
? You'll notice, Olivia-Emma entered the Observatory just as they were cutting to an excited Robert cheering her on, but then they go back to show her crawling out of Medusa's Lair.

Also, when Olmec gets to explaining the Vipers Nest in his temple rundown, he says "Where you can grab the Lucky Amulet..." instead of Applewood Amulet.

As I pointed out in my summary on Nicklegends' site, the Missing Eye of David was a very unique episode. Besides the Paintbrush of Leonardo Da Vinci, it's the only episode with a four-way tie on the second-to-last step. I also found it strange that Kirk was on that elevated platform during the third temple game. Was he ever using that in any other episode?

Also, I love how Kirk comments that the backrunner passed up the half-pendent, then just seconds later when she encounters the guard, he says "That's okay, she's got a pendent, so she can go on."

The "She passed it up, that might come back to haunt her" part was overdubbed, but they shouldn't've even put it in.  C'mon, Kirk's memory isn't that bad!

Also, where in Medusa's Lair do you think the half Pendant might've been?

My best guess would be on one o the inactive actuators rom when the room space was occupied by the Heart Room and Room of Fallen Columns.

Anyone else notice that Stephen didn't quite put together the column in the Observatory correctly?  (The top piece was 180 degrees from where it should have been.)  If he had, perhaps the door to the King's Storeroom would have opened.

My guess is that it was on the inactive actuator that used to open the door downward into the Throne Room. Just a guess though.
