Title: The Jesters Court or Dark Forest

I've been here since October and I'm just now really adjusting to things. Literally, the /ONLY/ thing I still have unanswered is the difference between the Dark Forest and The Jesters Court. Judging by their descriptions they seem to be both spam topics. The exact same thing.O_o

Can somebody please tell me the difference? Thanks.

The Pit is for links, images, and the like. The Dark Forset is for General Chat. As for spam, that goes in the Jester's Court.

Ooops! So sorry. I mean't The Jester's court or The Dark Forest!:P

Yeah, the truth is, people tend to disregard the border between the two subforums. The Dark Forest is meant for miscellaneous discussion, while the Jesters' Court is meant for spam (not "discussion," so to speak).

Since people have been putting topics in Jesters' Court that should be in the Dark Forest, and topics inside the Dark Forest that should be in the Jesters' Court, don't worry too much about where your topic should go.

I tend to like The Jesters Court since I can talk about anything random or anything mundane, but for the Dark Forest, it's still good enough for people who want to talk about something specific.
