Not Blue Pearl. That was second on its day AND there was another team that didn't get a second prize that day: Mata Hari.

Not Butch Cassidy either. In that episode, the Orange Iguanas got the second prize and even the grand prize. This temple team did not get the second prize , which means this episode I am thinking of is not a failed escape. ;)

To expand on the last clue, the temple team in this episode was the only team to at least not get the second prize that day. You kind of need to think hard about this day. ;)

1.) It was the first episode on its day.
2.) The Orange Iguanas made it to the temple. :oops:
3.) Bifocal Monocle was the only run that day where the team didn't win the second prize. The second prize was at least won in the other episodes that day, even in War Fan because it was confirmed by both Jeremy and Elise. ;)

But on Levitating Dog Leash's day, the other three teams reached their artifacts so they all got their second prizes. On Bifocal Monocle's day, Veronica and Thomas were the only team to not at least get the second prize. But that is because their layout was so hard and not because they were one of the worst teams ever. ;)

1.) The episode following this episode featured a rule change in the moat.
2.) This episode used a temple game pair that was used early on in the day. It also featured two temple games that were unique to that production day.
3.) During the temple run, the second runner got removed in the Swamp/Jester's Court room space, and the second runner did not advance past it.

1.) The moat had to be changed slightly in Gordian Knot since this was the longest moat ever recorded.
2.) 2/3 of the temple games were unique to this production day
3.) Vicky was removed in the Holes of Python, and her partner did not make it past that room.
