Yeah, Kristen is completely to blame for why their team lost. And honestly, the Golden Ship kids are at fault for losing too. I mean, I know their layout sucked, but retrieving an artifact from the Wall Climb to the Throne Room is a little too obvious. Early on in the show or not.

I never understood how Joe and Gabby thought it would be that easy to reach the Throne Room from the Wall Climb. I mean 3 rooms just to reach the artifact? I can understood for artifacts that were in the Ancient Kings and Mine Shaft area if you take a direct path, but anything in the central shaft should be way too obvious. The Golden Ship kids do deserve some criticism for their triple capture. It didn't help that they were so slow in the temple too. I mean they only entered 4 rooms and they barely had 1:30 on the clock? Imagine if the Lost Gold Mine or Kamehameha team had this layout and it ended in triple capture? Then they would've had 2+ minutes left on the clock. While the temple guard layout sucked, it is kind of hard to feel sorry for Gabby and Joe when they moved like rocks in the temple.

Yeah, even if Joe and Gabby had a full pendant, they still would've lost. At the speed they were going, they'd probably only make it to the Tomb of the Ancient Kings at best. I mean, entering your fourth room (and going through all hit the actuator rooms) with 1:30 left on the clock? Not fast at all. And yeah, if the Kamehameha had this layout, they probably would've had 2:30 or so left on the clock. Now THAT would've been a quick temple run.

What if we would have had a Shaka Zulu incident but with the artifact in the Throne Room space

Then THAT temple run would be the quickest temple run ever. Bobby would escape with about 2:30 left on the clock. I can only imagine what the YouTube n00bs would say about that. It would be "praised" through the roofs.

Do you guys think if Kristen never entered the Room of the Mandarin Hand and went straight into the Observatory, then the Silver Snakes would've won in the Polynesian Girl run?

Yeah, they probably would've. Plus, Kristen needed to move faster.

I believe they would have, yes. A lot of potentially victorious runs were destroyed by navigating the central shaft.
