I know this is a little early, but the Red Jaguars thread is almost done. Plus, the Blue Barracudas are one of my favorite teams and a lot of their runs are interesting. Same rules as the other topic. We will rate each Blue Barracuda run on a scale of 1-10. When rating the Blue Barracuda runs, only compare them to other Blue Barracuda runs and not for other teams. ;) As usual, have fun!

We will start off with "The Missing Portrait of Hans Holbein".  :mrblue:

I gave Hans Holbein a 6. It was a boring and forgettable run, and Keith and Rachel were just an average team. But their layout was impossible and they literally had to enter every room enroute to the artifact. So they made it pretty far taking into account their speed and progress. And they would've loss anyways even if they move faster. Overall, it was a boring run but I don't hate it at all. Although I have seen this episode many times thanks to Nick GaS. :S

I also gave it a 6, for the same reasons as Stone Marker. And yes this episode was part of the 20 episode cycle. O_O

I gave Lucky Pig a 1. I HATE this temple run with a passion. Kristen was honestly one of the worst girls ever on the show. She was slow, stupid, unathletic, and a lost cause in general. She wasted three minutes doing literally everything wrong in the temple. I don't care how hard the layout was, I do not want to see a player that does acts incompetent for three minutes. I know I am being harsh to her, but a contestant that takes almost a minute to climb in the Wall Climb and gets lost in the Dungeon deserves to be maligned. Poor Scott, he deserved MUCH better than this lost cause.  :?

Another one here. Terrible temple run. And I have ZERO sympathy for Kristen that her layout was hard.

Seriously, I would've felt like utter crap if I was Scott. He didn't even get a shot in the temple to prove himself. At least in runs like Charles Lindbergh and Enormous Feather had runners that had a chance to prove themselves despite Kim and Karisa being lost causes. But in Lucky Pig, we have to sit through 3 whole minutes of someone who had no idea what to do. I have zero sympathy for Kristen too and this is one run I just can't defend.

And it's stupid for people to defend Kristen because "her layout was impossible." She only made it as far because it was a Season 1 temple. Who knows how miserably she would've performed if she had a latter season temple. If I were her partner, I would be extremely pissed. Especially since Scott LED THE TEAM the whole episode. He should've been paired up with the extremely short Annie.

Yeah, Annie would've been a much better teammate for Scott. Plus, they would've had better chemistry since they knew each other before their episode taped. As hard as the layout was, there was still a chance for a solo shot. And it was the Season 1 temple too like you mentioned, so most of the rooms were easy. Which is why Kristen made it far. If I had to say one thing I liked about this run, it is Scott and Kirk's support for Kristen. Even though they had to guide her through the whole temple.

Yeah, it would've been interesting to see Annie go through the temple. As short and as young as she was, she probably would've done a MUCH better job than Kristen. She probably would know how to climb a wall, and she'd know how to bust through a wall. And like you said, both Annie and Scott were classmates, so they would've had perfect chemistry. They would make for a great Purple Parrot team. Which is the team I was rooting for in the temple games. I'm not sure if it would've been a solo run, but it would've been MUCH better than chubby girl Kristen's trainwreck performance.

I gave Iron Mask a 6. It was one of those runs that really should've been a win, but one wrong move screwed the team over for a win. In this case, Jennifer shouldn't have detour into Medusa's Lair. Especially considering she was moving very fast. :? By the time Justin entered, they had no chance of winning. In the end, it was your typical Season 2 loss. Not the worst loss on the show, but it should've been a win. And the temple run is pretty uneventful aside from Justin's badass head first slide.  :mrblue:
