Snorlax is so hard to catch FR/LG...

At least I had Jynx to rid it of it's Chesto Berry at the beginning instead of after it rested.

Particularly access to Dark-type moves for Sabrina, since the type didn't exist in Generation I.

Even with out Dark type, they were still weak. I OHKO'd Blaine's Arcanine with  my Nidoqueen (who has been recently been replaced with Venomoth). And Koga gave me trouble because I had all level 33's. I did Silph Co. and came back to him and he was too easy. Sabrina was also easy to beat. I used surf on her and it was a breeze. And Giovanni was the easiest. Probably because of Venomoth's Giga Drain.

I'm thinking the Special stat split had something to do with how easy Sabrina became to beat.  All four of her Pokémon ended up with Generation I's Special stat becoming their Special Attack in Generation II.  And out of the four, only Mr. Mime got a higher Special Defense than Attack after the split; Kadabra and Alakazam in particular had average Special Defenses to balance out their very high Special Attacks.
