Rate the Moat Crossing - Smashed Printing Plate/Sforza Day "Net and Vine"

That was actually the moat I was looking forward to. One of my all time favorite moats.

I personally liked the hanging inner tubes moat better, but the stacked tubes one was good too. Plus, it's the highest rated moat so far out of all the moats. Not that I'm complaining.

And with a solid 8 average, time to put an end to the "hanging inner tubes" moat.

I gave this moat a 7. It was an interesting concept, but it seemed like the tubes were pointless because most contestants did without them anyways. And just like with the Babylonian Wheels moat, I wasn't entirely too sold on the idea. Neat moat, but other moats were better.

I gave this moat a 9. It was my personal favorite moat from Season 2. I liked how the contestants could cross the moat without the stacked tubes. In most other moats, the player probably would've been required to keep their stacked tubes to cross. But in this moat, it was only optional. Even if the tubes were kind of useless, I liked how unique and flexible the objective was. Plus, I recall a Freydis' and Henry Morgan's moat being pretty good despite how tricky this moat could've been.

I don't know, I just wasn't impressed with this moat at all. It was a cool concept, but the optional tubes made it so pointless. =/

And with another 8 average, time to end the "Stacked Tubes" moat.

Up next is the "swing on a vine" moat.

I gave this moat a 5. Way too easy for a moat, and it seemed like most players still struggled to get across. Plus, it was used on two different production days, going back to recycling moat ideas. I guess no good can come with a moat that involves a rope of any kind.

I gave this moat a 6. The idea of it was too simple, but at least it made some of the moats interesting. Nostradamus and Priceless Portrait's moat comes to mind. Although there is really no reason for them to re-use it though. Plus, this felt like a Season 1 moat too. I don't really have any ill feelings towards it, nor do I think highly of it either. It was just slightly above average at best.

Look at it this way: Tomorrow starts Season 3's moat, which had some of the most creative ideas ever. I especially like the moat we're voting on tomorrow. Please tell me you're looking forward to those moats.

Is the moat tomorrow the one with the swinging polls? If so, that is probably the best one of Season 3. Either that one, or the one used on Thornwood Gavel's day. It will be interesting to see how the Gwalior and Belle Boyd moat ranks.

Yeah, Sir Gawain's filming day is the one with the swinging polls. Which is honestly, my favorite moat ever in the whole series. Thornwood Gavel's moat is pretty neat too, though I don't think I'd be coordinated enough to make it past that moat. I don't think highly of Gwalior or Belle Boyd's moat, so that might rank pretty low.

Sir Gawain's moat is my favorite one from Season 3 also. I forgot about the belly sliding moat that was used on Queen Boadicea's day also. That was another really good moat. Most of them I expect to rank high.

Yeah, I even liked the "side scrolling net" that was used in that dreaded Henry Hudson/Xerxes day. Don't forget another recycled moat: The net and vine one used in Mystical Spellbook and Catherine the Great's day. And I also loved the belly sliding moat. That should definitely rank high.
