Holy shit, has any of you heard about the Boston Marathon explosions? So far, 22 injured and 2 dead. This is horrifying! :shock:  :(

I caught a glimpse of it on the news earlier, and it was definitely very shocking.  Did you catch what caused the explosions? I'm watching it on the news again now and I still missed the announcement. :?

I think I just heard someone interviewed who claimed he saw a garbage barrel blow up.  Sounds like a bomb scare for sure, and I really, really was hoping it was just a technical failure like an electrical fire...

I'm just hoping this gets cleared up and we find out it was really just a freak accident.  I'd hate to hear it was a planned terrorist attack at the event!

...Or, strike what I said.  There were homemade bombs, but luckily not all of them went off.  Two are apparently being disarmed now.

I guess the worst part, though, isn't the number of casualties.  It's the paranoia and fear that the whole bombing caused.  This last year's just been so ridiculous that it just doesn't feel safe going anywhere anymore. :(

Just heard that someone may have been seen carrying two backpacks. If this really is a bomb case, then I wouldn't be surprised if the bombs came from that person. R.I.P. to the victims. :(

But I suppose when it's my time, it's my time.  I mean, you could technically get hit by a drunk driver and potentially killed any time you're on the road, but that doesn't stop people from riding in cars.
