The camera maneuvers through a thick rainforest to stop in front of an ancient temple.  A giant stone head next to the gate of the temple begins to speak:
"LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE! With your guide, Kirk Fogg! And here he is NOW!"

On this final word, Kirk appears from behind the Temple Guard door in the Dungeon and runs straight out into the foreground of the stage to greet the crowd. "Thank you! Thank you very much! Nice to see you! Nice to see you, Olmec! Welcome to Legends of the Hidden Temple.  The rooms are filled with lost treasures that are protected by mysterious Mayan Temple Guards.  Only Olmec knows the legend behind each of the treasures in his temple.  Which legend are we gonna hear about today?"

Olmec replies:
"The Fake Beard of the Immortal Bank Robber."

"Well the legend is set, and one of these six teams will have the chance to retrieve that Fake Beard," Kirk says in response. "Will it be:
"Michael and Jessica of the Red Jaguars?" the camera pans to each team in order?
"Bobby and Madelyn of the Blue Barracudas,
"Keith and Nichole of the Green Monkeys,
"Kevin and Samantha of the Orange Iguanas,
"Jason and Ariana of the Purple Parrots,
"Or Mark and Sarah of the Silver Snakes?"

"They'll have to pass some tough physical and mental tests," Kirk says, "but in the end, only one team will earn the right to enter Olmec's Temple.  But first, they must cross the Moat, and here's how they'll have to do it today:
"In front of each team there's a set of Arctic rings that're dangling across the Moat.  When I say go, one player from each team will start crawling his way through the rings until he reaches the other side of the Moat.  Then his partner'll start crawling through the rings til he gets to the other side."
"As soon as the second player steps onto the deck, it's his job to run over here and hit the gong." He slams down on the Red Jaguars' gong to demonstrate. "The first four teams to hit their gongs will go on to the next round.  Hey teams? are you ready?"
The players all cheer and shout in response.
"Olmec, are you ready?" asks Kirk.
"You bet your bottom dollar I am," Olmec replies.
"All right then," Kirk replies. "On your marks, get set, GO!"

The teams? first players head into the tunnels of floating rings, and after about twenty-five seconds, the boys on the Red Jaguars and Purple Parrots become the first two players to get to the other end of the Moat.  The female Green Monkey emerges from the tunnel about ten seconds later, with the girl on the Blue Barracudas right behind her.
?Slowly but steady they make their way across the Moat,? Kirk comments as the girl on the Silver Snakes steps onto the deck, followed by the girl on the Orange Iguanas.  A few seconds later, the second players from each the Red Jaguars and the Purple Parrots step onto the deck, but the Purple Parrots hit their gong first because the girl on the Red Jaguars slips as she runs over and falls on her butt. ?She?s okay, she?s okay,? Kirk tells the audience as the girl hits her team?s gong.  About fifteen seconds later, the boys on the Green Monkeys and Silver Snakes step onto the deck and tie for third position.
?And that?s our four teams!? Kirk says, and the camera shows him walking over to meet with the Red Jaguars at their gong. ?Don?t wanna slip here, she did, but she got back up and hit that gong and she?s going on to the Steps of Knowledge, along with the Green Monkeys?? the camera briefly shows each of the other three qualifying teams? ?and the Purple Parrots? and the Silver Snakes! The Blue Barracudas and Orange Iguanas gave it a great effort too.  Here?s what we?ve got for them.?
Dee reads the consolation prize:
"Look at the entertaining fun you?ll have when you strap on Moon Shoes.  Super excitement is yours when you bounce higher than ever! Don?t leave Earth without Moon Shoes, from Big Time Toys!"

The four teams are now at the top of the Steps of Knowledge accompanied by Kirk. "As the quest continues, it's now time for Olmec to tell us about the Fake Beard of the Immortal Bank Robber.  But pay attention teams, because your knowledge of the Legend can bring you one step closer to Olmec's Temple."
Olmec begins to tell the legend:
"In the Old West, one of the most infamous bank-robbing gangs was the Dalton Gang.  The three brothers, Grat, Bob, and Emmett, were originally lawmen, but had a change of heart and became bandits.  They were well-known for being able to pull off a train robbery in nothing flat, but for the middle brother Bob, that wasn?t enough recognition.
"'Listen boys,' he said one day. 'This one?ll get us in the record books.  We?re gonna rob two banks at the same time, in broad daylight.'
"So the brothers went to pull off the stunt, recruiting a man named Bill Doolin to help them do it.  Bill and Bob were going to rob one bank in Coffeyville, Kansas, and Grat and Emmett were going to rob another one that was also in Coffeyville.  Emmett, the youngest brother, was afraid he would be caught and sent to jail, so he took a disguise which included a fake beard.
"'All right! Nobody move!' Grat shouted. 'This here?s a stickup!'
"A shootout began, and at the end, Grat, Bob and Bill were all dead.  Emmett Dalton, on the other hand, survived, even though he had 23 bullet wounds.  He gained the nickname 'The Immortal Bank Robber,' but actually he did eventually die of old age.  When he died, the fake beard from the disguise he wore that day, now marked with two bullet holes, made its way to the Temple.  You must find the Fake Beard of the Immortal Bank Robber and bring it back here."

"Thank you Olmec," Kirk says after Olmec finishes telling the legend. "So tell us, where is this Fake Beard?"
Olmec replies:
"The Fake Beard of the Immortal Bank Robber can be found in the SHRIIIine of the Silver Monkey!" The camera zooms in on the Fake Beard positioned on the platform on which the monkey is assembled, then fades back to Kirk.

"Teams," Kirk begins, walking down the steps, "you're now standing on the Steps of Knowledge, and in a minute, Olmec will ask you a question.  If you think you know the answer, stomp down on that ancient marking in front of you.  If you're right, you're gonna move down to the next level, but if you're wrong or run out of time, I'll give the other teams a chance to answer.  The first two teams to make it to the bottom level will be one step closer to Olmec's Temple.  Olmec, we're now ready for your first question."

Olmec begins:
?Was Emmett a member of the: Hole-in-the-Wall Gang, Dalton Gang, or J???
Keith hits the marking first: ?The Dalton Gang???
?Correct,? answers Olmec.
?Nice job, Green Monkeys, step down,? Kirk says, and the Green Monkeys move down one level. ?You have to stomp down hard to ring in, remember.  Olmec, next question.?
Olmec asks:
?Out of the three Dalton brothers, was Emmett: The oldest, The middle brother, or The youngest??
After a moment of hesitation, Nichole stomps down first: ?He was the youngest brother???
?That is correct,? Olmec answers, and the Green Monkeys move down one more step.
?They?re already just one step away from the Temple Games,? Kirk explains. ?But we need two teams.  Next question Olmec.?
Olmec asks:
?The middle brother, Bob Dalton, wanted to set a record to gain fame.  Was this record: Two successful robberies at the same time???
Keith cuts Olmec off again: ?Two robberies? at the same time.?
?That is correct!? Olmec shouts, and the Green Monkeys get to move down to the bottom level.
?Woah, that was fast,? Kirk comments, ?and we?ve already got one team that?s moving on to the Temple Games! We need one more teams, and it?s anybody?s game right now.  Olmec, next question.?
Olmec continues:
?In our legend, who was recruited to help the Dalton Gang pull off the double robbery???
Jessica stomps down first: ?The Immortal Bank Robber???
?That is not one of the three choices,? Olmec remarks. ?The three choices are: Butch Cassidy, Bill Doolin, or Belle Starr.?
Mark rings in as Olmec says the third possible answer: ?Bill Doolin???
?Correct,? answers Olmec, and the Silver Snakes move down to the second step.
?The other teams can catch up too,? Kirk narrates. ?Next question.?
Olmec now asks:
?In what city in Kansas were the two robberies going to take place???
Michael buzzes in first: ?Kansas???
?That is not one of our three choices,? barks Olmec. ?The three choices are: Coffeyville, Abilene??
Ariana gongs in: ?Coffeyville???
?Correct,? Olmec replies, and the Purple Parrots walk onto the second level.
?The Red Jaguars can still catch up too,? Kirk explains. ?Olmec, next question.?
Olmec asks:
?Although Emmett Dalton survived the shootout, how many bullet wounds did he end up with: Thirteen, Twenty-three, or Thir???
Ariana rings in again: ?Twenty-three???
?That is correct,? answers Olmec, and the Purple Parrots move down to the third step.
?Purple Parrots are now just one step away from the Temple Games,? Kirk says. ?Still time for the other teams to catch up.  Olmec, next question.?
Olmec continues:
?According to our legend, was Emmett given the nickname???
Jessica interrupts him: ?The Immortal Bank Robber???
?Correct,? says Olmec in response, allowing the Red Jaguars to walk onto the second step.
?There?s that ?Immortal Bank Robber? answer!? Kirk remarks. ?I think it?s anyone?s game at this point.  Let?s keep going.?
Olmec asks:
?In our legend, who else survived the shootout???
Jason stomps in early: ?Umm? Emmett was the only one survived.?
After a brief pause, Olmec shouts:
?That is correct!?
?All right!? Kirk says, walking up the middle of the bottommost level of the Steps of Knowledge as the Purple Parrots move down onto the bottom level. ?We got our two teams, the Green Monkeys and the Purple Parrots! The rest of you come on down.? The Red Jaguars and the Silver Snakes each walk down one more step and move in closer to Kirk. ?These guys gave it a great effort.  We got something for each of them and here?s what it is.? Michael, Jessica, Sarah and Mark will each be receiving a copy of the Kingdom Hearts II PlayStation 2 game.
Kirk is now standing between the Green Monkeys and the Purple Parrots on the fourth level of the Steps of Knowledge. ?These two teams will be playing for the right to enter the Temple,? he says, ?right after this!? The camera pans out and zooms in on one of the tunnels of Arctic rings dangling above the Moat before fading to commercial.

Kirk is now standing between the Green Monkeys and the Purple Parrots in front of the Crevasse. ?Welcome back to Legends!? he says. ?Now of course, the glory goes to the fastest and the strongest, so let?s get to know our teams a bit.? He turns to the camera-left talk to the girl on the Purple Parrots, whose dark hair is braided in a ponytail. ?On the Purple Parrots, we have Ariana.  How old are you??
?Twelve,? the girl replies.
?Now you like hanging out at the mall with your friends,? Kirk says, reading off an index card, ?but you also have three cats.  Tell me about that.?
?Well,? Ariana explains, ?we found this mom cat and her daughter at the pet store about a year ago, they?re both Manx cats, I named the mom Caramel and her daughter Harmony.  And then we found this other one they got fixed, it was a guy with white fur, one eye?s blue and the other green, we named it Puka.?
?Sounds like a handful to take care of three cats,? Kirk comments.
?Well, it is sometimes,? replies Ariana, ?but they?re good company when I?m feeling bad.?
?Oh,? Kirk says as he goes to interview the dark-haired boy on the far left of the screen. ?And Jason, how old are you??
?Thirteen,? he replies.
?And you play soccer and collect football cards,? Kirk reads. ?How big?s your collection??
?I think about 600 cards,? says Jason in response.
?You have a favorite team?? Kirk asks.
?The Miami Dolphins!? Jason answers with an ?of course? tone.
?And speaking of teams, we?re gonna see if you?re the best team here,? Kirk says. ?Let?s hear it for the Purple Parrots!? The audience applauds, and Kirk turns toward the right side of the screen to talk to the girl on the Green Monkeys, who has straight brown hair and brown eyes. ?And on the Green Monkeys, we have Nichole.  How old are you??
?Thirteen,? she replies.
?And you like to draw animals, but you?re also learning to speak Portuguese,? Kirk reads. ?Tell me about that.?
?Well,? Nichole explains, ?my dad was born in the Azores, he was about twelve when his family moved to New England, he met my mom when he went to University of Richmond, she grew up in Florida, he moved down here to be with her.  Dad still speaks Portuguese real good and he?s starting to teach me.?
?I see,? comments Kirk. ?Say something in Portuguese, anything.?
Nichole begins:
?Boa tarde, senhor! Eu chamo-me Nichole Gon?alves e tenho treze anos.  Eu gosto de desenhar animais e o meu pai est? a ensinar-me a lingua portuguesa.?
?It?d take me five years I think to speak it that good!? Kirk laughs, moving to talk to the boy on the far right of the screen, who has brown hair, blue-green eyes and freckles. ?And Keith, how old are you??
?Thirteen,? he answers.
?And you like to surf, I hear,? Kirk says. ?What?s the biggest wave you?ve ever caught??
?Probably six feet,? Keith replies. ?I?m kinda tryin? to start with the small ones and go to the bigger ones.?
?Well, you?ll get there,? Kirk says. ?It also says here your friends say you?re ?a box of randomness.? Tell me about that.?
?Just that I have these totally odd sayings,? he explains. ?Like my friend didn?t want his parents to find out about a test he flunked, and I said denial?s always the first Nile.?
?What?? Kirk says before laughing. ?I?ll figure out what it means later.  Let?s hear it for the Green Monkeys!? Keith and Nichole clap along with the audience.

?Okay, you guys ready to play?? Kirk asks.
?YEAH!? The players shout as a response.
?Okay then, girls go get ready for the first Temple Game, guys go get ready for the second,? Kirk says, pointing in different directions, and the players walk offscreen. ?In the Temple Games, each team is competing to win?" he opens a pouch and pulls out a small gold medallion to show to the camera? "these Pendants of Life.  They?ll need those Pendants to protect themselves from the dreaded Temple Guards as they make their way through the Temple.  Olmec, tell us about Temple Game #1.?

Olmec begins:
?In the Old West, it was very common for people to travel on horseback.  In this game, you will prove your horsemanship.  Hold on tight, because when Kirk gives the signal, the horse will begin to spin.
?The player that?s still on the horse after 60 seconds? or the player that stays on the longest? wins.?
The camera fades to Kirk, who is standing in front of the mechanical horse. ?Let?s see who would?ve made it in the Old West,? he says. ?Let?s set the clock for 60 seconds.? The clock appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen. ?On your mark, get set, GO!?
Nichole and Ariana hold on to the horses below them and hang for dear life, but only 14 seconds into the game, Ariana falls off her horse and the game ends.
?Wow, that was quick!? Kirk comments, running over to join the players as Nichole carefully climbs off the horse. ?Green Monkeys stayed the longest, Green Monkeys win a half Pendant of Life!? The audience applauds for a minute, and Nichole excitedly jumps up and down in the meantime. ?Purple Parrots can still catch up in the next game, it?s worth a half Pendant.  Olmec, tell us about Temple Game #2.?

Olmec continues:
?In our legend, Emmett Dalton was nicknamed ?The Immortal Bank Robber? because he lived even after he was shot with 23 bullets.  All of the bullets were eventually removed, but in this game, you must remove a few bullets from the ceiling above you.  When Kirk gives the signal, jump up, grab a bullet off the ceiling, and come back down to place it in your bin.  Then, jump back up and grab another.
?The first player to grab all the bullets? or the player that grabs the most bullets in 60 seconds? wins.?
The camera shows Kirk standing in front of the equipment for the Temple Game. ?It?s a race to the finish,? Kirk says. ?Let?s put 60 seconds on the clock.? The clock appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen. ?On your mark, get set, GO!?
Keith and Jason jump up and try to grab the small ball-shaped bullets off the ceiling, and both have a rather easy time getting them.  However, Jason, who has a much better-developed rhythm throughout this game, grabs the twelfth and final bullet off the ceiling with 20 seconds left, just as Keith is reaching for his seventh.
?Okay, that?s it!? shouts Kirk, who is running over to declare the winner. ?So the Purple Parrots got all the balls before time ended, giving them a half Pendant of Life!? The audience applauds again. ?So Purple Parrots have a half Pendant, the Green Monkeys have a half Pendant, but this is the third and final game, it?s worth a whole Pendant.  Olmec, tell us about it.?

Olmec narrates:
?Many outlaws gangs existed in the Old West, but there?d also be a fair share of sheriffs to take down the posse.  In this game, you will take down these targets as a sheriff would take down the posse.  When Kirk gives the signal, lob a cannonball at one of the targets on the wall.  Then you partner will place a cannonball in the slingshot and aim again.
?The first team to knock down all four targets? or the team who?s knocked over the most targets in 60 seconds? wins.?
?Whoever takes down the posse first goes to the Temple,? Kirk reminds everyone. ?Let?s put 60 seconds on the clock.? The clock then appears in the corner of the screen, and Kirk steps to the side. ?On your mark, get set, GO!?
?They?re off!? Kirk says. ?They gotta go knock down the posse!? Only a couple of the cannonballs that are launched go completely off course, as all four players have somewhat good aim.  The first target is knocked down by the Purple Parrots with 45 seconds left.  The Green Monkeys knock their first target over with 36 seconds to go, but soon the Purple Parrots knock down two more in a row.  With ten seconds remaining, each team has only one target left standing, and they can only get a couple more shots in before time runs out.  A pattern of ceiling spotlights flashes, and Kirk runs back onscreen from the camera-right side to announce the final standings.
?Okay,? he says. ?Each team had only one target left when time ended.  Let?s go to the tiebreaker, let?s bring it in here!?

The players run over to the tiebreaker pedestals and stand behind their respective gongs as directed by Kirk. ?Okay, I?m gonna read you the rules.  In a second, Olmec is gonna ask you one last question.  If you think you know the answer, hit the gong in front of you.  You?ll have three seconds to answer, we must accept your first response.  If you?re right, you and your partner will be going inside the Temple, but if you?re wrong or run out of time, I'll give the other teams a chance to answer.  All clear?"
The players nod in response.
"All right.  Olmec!" Kirk shouts. "What?s the final question??

Olmec asks:
?Were the Dalton Brothers originally: Lawmen, Lawyers, or Lawmakers??
Keith hits the gong and guesses: ?Lawyers???
?Incorrect,? Olmec replies.
Jason then buzzes in: ?Lawmen???
?That? is? correct,? Olmec replies, and Ariana jumps on Jason, nearly tackling him out of excitement.
?Whoo, careful, you almost knocked him over!? Kirk says, making sure Jason is okay. ?But she?s excited, and she should be? cause the Purple Parrots are goin? to the Temple!? Jason and Ariana high-five several times as Kirk goes to talk to the other team. ?But you guys gave it a gallant effort.  Here?s what we?ve got for you.? Keith and Nichole will each be receiving a small prize package from Reebok.
Kirk is standing behind Jason and Ariana at the tiebreaker pedestal. ?We?ll see if the Purple Parrots can make it through Olmec?s Temple and retrieve the Fake Beard of the Immortal Bank Robber,? Kirk comments, ?right after this!? The camera zooms in on the Fake Beard in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey before fading to commercial.

Kirk stands in front of the Temple's stairs with his hands on Jason and Ariana's shoulders. "Welcome back," he says. "You two have proven yourselves worthy and earned the right to enter Olmec?s Temple.  But before you go, Olmec?s gonna give you some information to help you retrieve that Fake Beard of the Immortal Bank Robber."
Olmec begins to give the rundown:
?You could start by climbing through the Crevasse and climbing down into the Mine Shaft.  Throw enough rocks into the bucket to lift the slab, then race into the Crystal Cave.  Pull down the correct icicle, and you could choose to go up into the Dragon?s Lair, or into the Junction of the Secret Shafts.  If you escape, you might have a chance to enter the Switch Inferno.  Hit the right actuator to go upstairs, or plow through the wall and into the Dungeon.
?Next, climb up the Pharaoh?s Secret Passage into the Dark Overlook, and correctly place all three torches to open the door to the SHRIIIIIIIIIiine? of the Silver Monkey, where you can grab the Fake Beard.  Assemble the statue and you may be headed towards the Knights? Barracks.  Place the sword in the correct sheath, but be careful? one of the suits of armor could be possessed by the spirit of a Temple Guard! If they grab you, you'll have to give up a Pendant of Life! Next, race up to the Laser Light Room, find the right combination to unleash the power of the laser, and run across the Bridge.  Then, pass through the Room of the Temple Gongs, race down the stairs and back through the Temple Gate.  The choices are yours and yours alone.? Olmec pauses for a second. "You won 1 ? Pendants in the Temple Games.  Who's going first??
"I am!" Ariana shouts eagerly, waving her hand in the air.
"Very well Ariana," replies Olmec as Kirk hands out the Pendants of Life. "When Kirk gives the signal, you'll race through the gates into the Temple and make your way towards? the Fake Beard of the Immortal Bank Robber.  Hidden in the Temple are three ventilation shafts which let out in the Junction of the Secret Shafts, as well as Temple Guards assigned to protect three specific rooms.  You can trade your Pendant for an extra life and go on, but if you're caught without a Pendant, you'll be taken out of the Temple? and then it'll be Jason's turn to enter and try his luck.  Hidden somewhere in the Temple is the other half of your Pendant.  If you can find it and you're carrying the other half, you will get an extra life.  If you reach the Fake Beard of the Immortal Bank Robber, all the doors of the Temple will instantly unlock, and the Temple Guards will vanish.  Return through the gates with the Fake Beard in three minutes, and you will both be handsomely rewarded? and here's how:"
?   For just getting into the Temple, they?re both going to get an Ultra-Bounce Trampoline from Bollinger.
?   If they can reach the Fake Book in 3 minutes, they?re both going to get XBOX 360 game packages, complete with two new games.
?   And if they can get the Fake Beard out of the Temple before three minutes is up, they?ll be going to Quebec City! They?ll be staying for three days at Delta Quebec, with an indoor exercise room, an outdoor heated pool and an underground mall and they?ll be there during the Carnaval de Qu?bec.  Delta Quebec, for a prize package totaling $10,934!

"That sounds great!" Kirk says, excited. "So, Ariana, tell us? how?re you gonna get there?"
"Well," Ariana explains, "I?m going up, I?m gonna go through the Bridge, across the top and grab the Fake Beard and come back."
"We?re gonna see if that?ll get you to Quebec," Kirk says. "Mouthpieces in.  Let?s get you out in front.  Let?s lower the gate, Olmec!"
Olmec lets out a low moan as the gate vanishes.
"And let's set the clock? for three minutes." The clock appears onscreen. "On your mark, get set, GO!"

?There she goes!? Kirk comments as Ariana races up the stairs into the Room of Temple Gongs. ?They?ve got a Pendant and a half, they?re a strong team!? Ariana bangs the rightmost gong and then hits the next two just left of it.  The gongs light up blue, purple and green in order.  Ariana then stops, realizing that the door leading to the Bridge won?t open, and travels downward into the Crevasse. (2:40) ?She?s gotta make some good time,? Kirk says as Ariana enters the Mine Shaft and begins piling rocks in the bucket.  A total six rocks are thrown into the bucket before the stone slab covering the door rises all the way.  Ariana then hits the actuator for the door leading into the Crystal Cave, waves at Jason as a way to point out the half Pendant on the actuator, and slides through into the next room.
?Oh, she?s signaling back to Jason there,? Kirk comments as Ariana begins to pull down the stalactites, ?and right now she?s gotta make the ceiling fall down in there.? After Ariana pulls all three stalactites from the ceiling, the door leading into the Junction of the Secret Shafts opens, and she heads on in only to meet the first TEMPLE GUARD!
?Oh! She?ll have to give up her Pendant!? Kirk explains as Ariana hesitantly hands her Pendant of Life to the Temple Guard. ?She?s a little stunned!? Ariana hits the actuators for both doors leading stage-left from the Junction of the Secret Shafts, and she takes the lower tunnel to enter the Switch Inferno. (1:46) As soon as she enters the room, she decides to run through the rock wall and enter the Dungeon, where she encounters the second TEMPLE GUARD!
?Another Temple Guard! Go Jason!? Kirk shouts, and Jason runs up the steps into the Room of Temple Gongs with a half Pendant in hand and 1:39 remaining.  He looks around for a second before descending into the Crevasse, then climbs through the ledges to enter the Mine Shaft. (1:27) He picks up the half Pendant on the actuator, then runs all the way through the bottom floor.
?He seems to be following Annie?s path,? Kirk says, ?and then he?ll be just one room away!? Jason eventually enters the Dungeon with 1:06 left and climbs up the ladder to try entering the Shrine of the Silver Monkey? and the door opens! Jason climbs in and, with 57 seconds left, grabs the FAKE BEARD!
?He?s got the Fake Beard!? Kirk shouts, and an excited Ariana can be seen jumping up and down and shouting ?GO!? repeatedly. ?All the doors are open!? Jason, carefully holding onto the Fake Beard, runs back through the highest rooms of the Temple toward the exit.

Ariana jumps up and down and lets out a squeal of excitement. ?They got the trampolines, the XBOX 360s? they?re goin? to Quebec! This was one of the quirkier episodes of Season 2.  It all started with the girl on the Red Jaguars slipping on her way to hit the gong at the Moat, and then it went on to feature a couple seriously dumb answers at the Steps of Knowledge, an interesting set of player interviews, and the girl on the Purple Parrots nearly tackling her partner to the ground when they won the tiebreaker.

These players kept up a good pace during the run.  Ariana was enthusiastic, and she passed through the entire bottom floor before she was taken out at the Dungeon with 1:41 remaining.  Luckily, that was more than enough time for Jason to clean up.  He followed her path, grabbed the Fake Beard with a minute to go and met a fired-up Ariana after returning through the gate with a good 33 seconds left on the clock.  I'll admit the Temple design was fairly simple, but it's one of those episodes where everyone's so excited that it's still fun to watch.

Trivia and Records:
The first Temple Game in this episode, the "horse ride" game, lasted for only fourteen seconds, making it the second-fastest game in The Rediscovery (one second longer than the same type of game in "The Dragon-Headed Medallion of Vlad Dracula" earlier in Season 2).  This is the only episode of The Rediscovery in which the Purple Parrots win a tiebreaker.  Also, in Legends history, this is the first Purple Parrots win achieved with at least ten seconds left on the clock.
