Bradford out for year, yet another ACL.

Well, there goes my selection for Rams as surprise team. They have a good D, but the QB is the weak point, and if that's your weak point... Your exposed.

New surprise team... Ravens.

That's why I am not a fan of pre-season. Four games are too long for a physical sport like football. There is too much risk for a player to get hurt over a meaningless game. I know key players don't play the full games, but the potential is there. t really needs to be cut back to two games. :?

I know I am being bias, but I have the Ravens winning the division this year. Flacco looks better and more comfortable out there with Gary Kubiak's offense. Although I wouldn't call them a surprise team because prior to last season they made it to the playoff five games straight and even won the Super Bowl.  :mrpurple:

I might be angering a few of you, but I don't see why people like Fantasy Football. I did it a few years ago and it was a waste of time. But everyone does it, and now some stadiums are putting in Fantasy Football lounges (So far, San Francisco & Jackassville have already built one). I hate it, I don't get it why people like it as it is gold, and there is no fun into it at all. Just root for your own team.

I am not too crazy about Fantasy Football either. I did play a couple of years ago back during the season my Ravens won the Super Bowl in 2012. But I was more of a casual player rather than a hardcore one. I agree though that having Fantasy Football lounges is a little over-the-top. When I go to a football game, I am all about the experience. Why would I want to go and talk about stats and other team players when I can do it anytime at home, at work, etc.? I go to at least one football game a year in Baltimore, and there is always a group of people talking about Fantasy Football. And it is like all game too. I might follow it casually again this year, but never could I get into it like other people do.

I do like joining the "Suicide Leagues" and "Pick'em Leagues" that people put out. Those are all for good fun. Which reminds me, I need to join a few of them before the season starts.  :mrred:

If you are doing suicide, here's a tip... pick whoever plays Oakland or Tennessee. These two will be the worst, so try to pick their opponent (you might even pick Jackassville to be Tennessee, it happened last year :P)

Raiders, Browns, Jaguars, Titans, Vikings, and Bills will be good choices. :P

I never ever choose a toilet bowl match-up though. Like Jaguars @ Titans are games that I never choose. Or when the home team is a sucky team and the away team is an average. Week 1, I am going to choose Eagles over Jacksonville. ;)

I have a good joke

One of these Jaguars is really bad, the other is a Red Jaguar.  :P :jaguars2:

Poor Jackassville. (Yes, that will be their nickname here )

If any team returns to LA, it should be the Raiders. Especially considering they have history in the city. And it would also make sense for them because their city and stadium is trash. Seriously, I heard a lot of horror stories about their fanbase. :o

I wouldn't move the Jaguars or Bills out there as they have no historic relevance in that city.

Today is the last day of pre-season (thank God). One week today, we will have our very first official regular season game!

Can't wait!  :mrpurple:

It's either going to be the Chargers, Raiders, or Rams now. I feel it's most likely Raiders.

It's almost time for Week 1, so I am going to do the same thing as I did last year where I pick the winner of games ahead of time. ;)

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 4
Green Bay Packers @ Seattle Seahawks (GB is a good team that can upset the Seahawks, but Seattle is very dominant at home.)

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7
New Orleans Saints @ Atlanta Falcons (Falcons will not be a pushover this year, but the Saints are one of the best teams in the NFC.)
Minnesota Vikings @ St. Louis Rams (Rams have a tough schedule, so they need all the wins they can get. Vikings have too much problems)
Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers (The Browns have not proven themselves yet and Steelers own them.)
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Philadelphia Eagles (This is both my suicide league pick and winner for my Pick'em league. Please don't disappoint Philly!)
Oakland Raiders @ New York Jets (The Jets are overrated, but the Raiders are awful)
Cincinnati Bengals @ Baltimore Ravens (Homer pick, but the Bengals are good and this is a game that both teams would want to win)
Buffalo Bills @ Chicago Bears (Upset of the week! I am pulling for the Bills to be a surprise team and I think the Bears are overrated.)
Washington Redskins @ Houston Texans (Both teams want to win this to get off to a good start. I think the Texans underperformed last year.)
Tennessee Titans @ Kansas City Chiefs (I guess this could go either way, but the Chiefs have more talent and they are good at home)
New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins (Another upset game! Although New England will probably scrape by like they usually do. -_-)
Carolina Panthers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Bucs might not be pushovers with their new HC, but Carolina had a beastly defense last year)
San Francisco 49ers @ Dallas Cowboys (SF should kill the Cowturds)
Indianapolis Colts @ Denver Broncos (If Manning can beat the Colts, then he would've beaten all 32 teams in the league)

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 8
New York Giants @ Detroit Lions (I am going with Brent's team! Giants suck until proven otherwise)
San Diego Chargers @ Arizona Cardinals (Can the Cardinals match their success like last year?)
