Buffalo Bills Shout Song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHbnQXsyDrE#)
Let's Go Bills! Playoff bound in 2012, baby!
Looks like Drew Brees has signed a $100 million deal with the team that I regret ever liking: the Saints. Saw that one coming.
Alright, then! Packers interception or Seahawks Touchdown then?
"The Red Jaguars" to complete your statement, the Panthers too!
Who thought the Cardinals would be 4-0, anybody?
But the game is in KC, so it could be a trap game. And our defense looked pretty bad against the Brownies.
And good job by the Steelers beating the Eagles. The Eagles were getting on my nerves on how they were squeaking by each game. But I am glad that the Steelers beat their carcass. ;)

I was really worried we were going to lose that game, but we pulled it off. Eagles finally LOST a close one! :mryellow:
Not sure if this is a surprise pick, but I have Washington beating Minnesota.
Bills won! :D
Though they kinda lucked out since Feely (the Cardinals' kicker) hit the goal post on what would've been the game-winning kick.
I don't see what the Jets see in Mark Sanchez. The guy is a terrible quarterback and he almost got shutout at home twice now. They really need to put a different person out there.
The Bears D is on a roll  two more pick 6es ties a record
Ravens barely beat the Browns? they should've beaten them by 30.
Panthers beat Redskins, probably means Romney will be president because of the Redskin Rule.
The Colts are about to be 6-3. That's unbelievable! I never thought this team would get to that total at all this season. I was thinking a 5-11 or 4-12 season would happen, but they're doing great.
I actually see this team making the playoffs with the roll they're on. Plus, take into account how crappy the AFC is this year. I don't think they'll win their division (the Texans have it covered), but a wild card spot is something I see them getting. They'll get one with either the Ravens or Steelers. Other teams that might challenge the Colts for a wild card are the Dolphins, Jets (because they love the wild card), and Chargers. Everyone else has been crappy.
I'm debating whether the Falcons will win or lose to the Saints. I have the Falcons winning, but this game is at New Orleans. I really don't know who will win.
49ers and Rams just tied!
49ers and Rams just tied!
That.........is lol-worthy!
I bet TRJ is happy for the Ravens.
Falcons finally Lost!!!! :P
And the Bengals beat the Giants! :o
I'm starting to have second thoughts about the Giants being a top 3 team in the NFC. So inconsistent they are.
Are we seriously losing to the Chiefs right now?
How are the Steelers losing to the Chiefs on Monday Night Football at home.
I'm really starting to think we might STEEL one. See what I did there? xP
TRJ, your team had trouble with the Chiefs too, didn't they?
My Bills didn't have any trouble with those Kansas Shitty Briefs. :P
I don't see why people think the Dolphins will lose to the Bills. I mean, it's the Bills! This is the only upset pick I have made on this one site I play pick 'em at. :|
LET'S GO BILLS!! SQUISH THE FISH!! :DI don't see why people think the Dolphins will lose to the Bills. I mean, it's the Bills! This is the only upset pick I have made on this one site I play pick 'em at. :|
Did you not see how terrible the Dolphins were against Tennessee last week?
And the Pats were running up the score as usual...

^Which is looking like a bad move. Washington's up 28-3 at the half.
^Which is looking like a bad move. Washington's up 28-3 at the half.
I can't believe I fell for such a silly stat. Also, everyone seemed confident that Dallas would win, :( so I switched and went with the majority. Looks like I fucked up there. :(
This always seems to happen to me. I make a change, and it bites me. I never learn in that regard. :P
Haha, the Cowboys are getting a beat down from the Redskins. I swear, the NFC East is full of nothing but loser teams. They are so overrated and I get tired of seeing them on primetime all the time. And PP319, the Cowboys are just plain garbage. I mean the Browns took them into overtime last weekend in Dallas. What a joke, the Giants should win that division easily.
That's one of those moves that'll get you fired. Schwartz's seat is getting warmer.
So... how long until the Jets bench Sanchez in favor of Tebow?
Packers lose  :(
Packers lose  :(
Welcome to my world. :(

Rather lose to the Giants than the Browns ;)
If you're questioning the intensity of the rivalry between the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints, check out this tweet from Saints backup quarterback Chase Daniel. It came just minutes after the team's charter flight touched down in Atlanta on Wednesday night.
@ChaseDaniel: Wow, as we're boarding buses on the Tarmac @ Atlanta airport, we start getting eggs thrown @ us by airport workers! Guess they do hate us!
Saints teammates Jermon Bushrod and Jimmy Graham re-tweeted Daniel's message, which was tweeted at 7:48 p.m. Wednesday.
Graham confirmed Daniel's tweet a few minutes later:
@JimmyGraham: Bus just got egged after landing in ATL by the ramp workers. Classy! "RISE Up" smh
Linebacker Will Herring also confirmed the incident:
@wherring54 First time my bus has been egged by opposing fans! Tomorrow should be fun!! #WhoDatNation

You stay classy, Hartsfield International.
I actually picked the Saints for this one because they've owned the Falcons as of late. Not tonight though.
It was Jovan Belcher, one of their linebackers: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8697360/kansas-city-chiefs-player-commits-suicide-team-facility (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8697360/kansas-city-chiefs-player-commits-suicide-team-facility)
Absolutely shocking. If I was the the NFL, I'd postpone their game tomorrow.
I agree with TSM, they should postpone the game. While neither team is going to the playoffs or anything, its obvious that the Chiefs organization is in distress. Not to mention, Belcher allegedly committed suicide in front of Crennel and other Chief members. I don't think I will be able to coach a game like that after seeing all that happen. Too bad also, since apparently Belcher just had a kid 2.5 months ago. :?
Too bad also, since apparently Belcher just had a kid 2.5 months ago. :?
Just saw a great idea. Now that they *are* playing CAR-KC tomorrow, why not donate the proceeds from the game to the orphaned child?
Rams/49ers almost tied again!
And what a terrible way to go, too. Just another example of what could happen if you drink and drive. R.I.P.
R.I.P.
Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers
They have been officially eliminated from playoff contention
Roger Goodell said NFL is exploring the idea of expanding the playoffs from 12 to 14 or 16 teams. Good idea?
The Seahawks are good though. Is it true they did a fake punt with a big lead late?
It's 55-0 Packers now
Pro Bowl Rosters released: http://www.nfl.com/probowl/story/0ap1000000117432/article/2013-pro-bowl-rosters-afc-nfc (http://www.nfl.com/probowl/story/0ap1000000117432/article/2013-pro-bowl-rosters-afc-nfc)
Can someone explain to me how the hell 5 Chiefs were picked? What a joke.
The Redskins are going to the playoffs, and the Cowboys are going to the golf course!
I am surprised that the Jets didn't fire Rex Ryan either. Oh well, I guess they want another season of mediocrity. I have never seen a team more dramatized in a season like the Jets. Their whole QB situation was a laughable mess. They can enjoy another season next year of being a 6-win team.
I just noticed something about Seattle. They biggest loss was only by 7 points (against the 49ers at the beginning of the year). They won tonight and now I truly believe that they will go to the Super Bowl. Seattle will probably own Atlanta.
Did you pick the Falcons because you don't want to face the Seahawks again? ;)
Anyway, my picks:
Ravens vs Broncos (X)
(X) Seahawks vs Falcons
(X) Packers vs 49ers
Texans vs Patriots (X)
Somewhere, TRJ is a nervous wreck.
Who wants a Harbaugh vs Harbaugh Super Bowl?
Bruce Arians has accepted four-year deal, with a team option for a fifth year, as head coach with Arizona Cardinals.
I can't wait to see Kaepernick perform in the Super Bowl. It should be fun to watch. :D
No way, I can't believe this Ravens team made it to the Super Bowl. Out of all of the Ravens teams in the last few years, this one made it all the way. Now we are just one game away from winning the SB. Bring on the Niners!
Of course, it will be a two week wait.
The power's out at the Superdome!
I'm just shocked that the 49ers allowed that huge kickoff return. How can you allow that in the Super Bowl of all games?
This power outage has been hilarious though.
The Purple Parrots win! THE PURPLE PARROTS WIN!
Also, an odd personal quirk:
In 2011, I went to New York on vacation. In 2012, the Giants won the Super Bowl.
In 2012, I went to Baltimore on vacation. In 2013, the Ravens won the Super Bowl.

SB XLIV: Saints Win
SB XLV: Packers Win, GM1 Celebrates

Okay, life is tough for them too. Not to mention now that their old team has won TWO Super Bowls. :o

Please come back to Baltimore this year, TSM! But stay away from Washington D.C. though. ;)
Yep, the first time the Packers and the Steelers have played each other since we beat you in the Super Bowl :P
Yep, the first time the Packers and the Steelers have played each other since we beat you in the Super Bowl :PWe haven't forgot about that. We plan on getting our revenge this year. :P
Ravens already up 7-0 right now and have almost shut out Denver in the first quarter. Not that it means anything because Manning usually sucks in the first game he plays. :P
But TSM's Bills almost beat New England with a back-up quarterback. It was a good effort.
Lol San Diego. Always finding a way to choke. First it was the Denver choke. Then it was 4th and 29 against Baltimore. Now this. Just disband this sorry ass team. :roll:They might as well move the Chargers to Los Angeles
At least the Chargers are watchable. There is nothing good about the Browns at all. I would disband them first before I disband the Chargers. And the Jaguars are God awful too. I honestly can see them going 0-16 this year.
I will post my picks a little later too. I will be really embarrassed if the Ravens lose to Cleveland though.
Rodgers has 300 yards and it's not even halftime!
Rodgers has 300 yards and it's not even halftime! :lol:RG3 and the Redskins look bad. :o
Dolphins beat the Colts! :o
They might be better than we think. Happy the Ravens won. So glad I went with them instead of the Texans, who can't even put away the Titans. XD
And TSM's Bills beat the Panthers too. They were so close to being 2-0 too, but they should be proud of winning their first game with a rookie QB. :mrblue: :mrred:I saw the game at Buffalo Wild Wings, that was intense when the Bills scored that winning TD.
And Browns have Willis McGahee? I forgot that guy existed. He played pretty well for the Ravens like 5 years ago. I forgot that guy existed. :P
Any chance the Jags go 0-16 this year?
Any chance the Jags go 0-16 this year?
I think they easily have a chance. Although looking at their schedule, they play the Browns and Titans. They might win one of those games. But they are extremely pathetic.
The Giants look horrible right now. They are getting shut out by Carolina and their offense is doing bad. :o
The Giants look horrible right now. They are getting shut out by Carolina and their offense is doing bad. :o
I was coming in here just to say this. Holy shit, the Giants look awful!
The Packers have problems. Serious problems. :|
I think people overrated the NFC West this season. Going into this season, people were claiming it to be the best division this year. Well, it doesn't look as great as last year. The Seahawks are elite and 49ers are good, but the other two teams are trash. It still is not as bad as it was a few seasons ago though.
Now that the Metrodome (Vikings/Twins) and Joe Robbie Pro Player Dolphins Dolphin Landshark Sun Life Stadium (Marlins/Dolphins) have their own separate stadium
I think Hoyer actually hurt his knee.
R.I.P. the Browns' season. :(
R.I.P. the Browns' season. :(
Let's be honest, their season was up before it even started. :mrpurple:
I guess there was a little karma for the Bills because EJ Manual had to leave the game with the same injury as Hoyer.
Jets vs. Falcons on MNF tonight. It could be an interesting game and the Falcons will be desperate for a win. I don't know, I kind of hope they lose and drop to 1-4. And then they will be really struggling to make the playoffs.
Don't worry, I don't see how the Falcons don't win this game. :P I mean a home game against a rookie QB that has played like a scrub? The Jets defense is the only thing they need to becareful of, but I think they will be fine. Also, the Ravens play GM1's Packers next weekend in Baltimore. I was trying to get tickets for that game, but they were so expensive. It should be a good game though. :mrpurple:
3 interceptions again by Manning in this game. I don't see why the Giants don't bench him for a game.
I wonder if he will play for Sunday? If he does, I hope he tears it up out there similar to how the Chiefs beat the Panthers last year after one of their players committed suicide.
The Bengals also had a solid win in Detroit today too. I think people should give them a little more respect as they have a well-rounded solid team.
I would be the one idiot that believed in the Cowboys this week. I didn't watch the ending though. Did they seriously lose on the last play?
That hail mary!
TRJ must be very angry right now. I'd be too. That never should've happened.
Stupid Giants, just because of use, they went from 0-6 to being in the playoff race.
And the Bears took the long game. Sorry TRJ, but the Ravens are doomed.
Panthers win! :D
Rock star Jon Bon Jovi is consumed with purchasing an NFL team, according to numerous sources with knowledge of the situation, and is among the parties positioning to purchase the Buffalo Bills when the team comes up for sale.
The Bills will go to the market when owner Ralph Wilson passes, and, while many league sources believe the Rogers Communications group in Toronto, who already work closely with the Wilson family to stage games annually in Toronto, is the prime suitor for the franchise, sources said Bon Jovi has spent considerable time in the area getting to know politicians and power brokers and even added a date there late in a recent tour to allow for more time to allocate to the matter.
I can't believe the Packers actually tied against the Vikings. That's actually pretty funny, so I'll join the LOL face party!   And wouldn't you know it, after this week, we'll have a 5-6 team holding the second AFC wild card spot. Back to the LOL face. Jags beat the sorry Texans. I called it!
TRJ, do you have Season Tickets for the Ravens? You go to their games more often than when I go to Packer games. ;)
And the Pats prove again that they are indeed the luckiest team ever.
Nice knowing all of you. *points gun to head*
I knew the Vikings could pull it off. :P The NFC north is not looking that great right now either and the Packers still have a shot at winning the division. ;) I know the Ravens play the Lions in a couple of weeks, so maybe we can help out the Packers.
The Texans are getting shutout by the Jaguars! :o Houston really needs to fire Wade Phillips.
Oh, and we were SO CLOSE TO BEATING THE DOLPHINS! We kept doing backward laterals and one of our guys had a chance at getting the game-winning TD, but his toe went out of bounds at around the 15 yard line. If not for that, we would've won. Ugh, we almost had it! :(

This would've been a good time for Tomlin to do his action! ;)
Without a doubt. And don't look now, but your Packers all of a sudden have a chance at the division. The Lions are doing their best to lose it. They only have a half game lead (as shocking as it is to see an NFL team have a half game lead) and their remaining schedule is no cake walk: Ravens (could be a great game that the Lions could easily lose), Giants (this team looks a lot better than they did to start the season), and Vikings (if they can hang with the Ravens, then surely they can give the Lions fits). The Packers face three teams they can beat if they show up: Cowboys (you know how hard it is to trust these guys), Steelers (we're still playing like crap), and Bears (a team in collapse mode). If Rodgers comes back in time for the Cowboys game, then you guys have a real shot at the division. I can see the Lions blowing it to the Packers. Even if we made the playoffs, our defense would be carved by either Drew Brees or Cam Newton. ;)
I can see why you guys picked Seattle over NYG. I look stupid now. :P
It look like Rodgers won't be playing for Green Bay tomorrow again. It might be a closer game for the Packers now then they think.
Congrats PP319, somehow your Steelers are still in it.
Fun fact: All NFC divisions have not been clinched yet.
Pro Bowl players announced: http://www.nfl.com/probowl/story/0ap2000000304771/article/2014-pro-bowl-complete-rosters (http://www.nfl.com/probowl/story/0ap2000000304771/article/2014-pro-bowl-complete-rosters) Packers, Giants, Jets, Falcons, and Jaguars get goose-egged this year (pending replacements). Glad the Bills have some representation, though!

Hate to add full to the fire, but some of my followers have pointed out that SD was in an illegal defensive formation on the missed FG
Mike Pereira @MikePereira
Replay did not stop the game because the ruling of forward progress is not reviewable. Should have been a strip and TD in my opinion.
Looks like the Bears will remain irrelevant for the next seven years.
Until then, that division is yours GM1. ;)
Supposed to be -20 in Green Bay for Kickoff! Guess who is still going? :P  :mryellow:
Apparently, the weather is going to get down to -55 during the Niners/Packers game with the wind chill factor included. Becareful out there, GM1. It will be extraordinarily cold out there. Hopefully the weather is not as bad as projected for both the fans and players. :o
Chiefs fuck up! Colts win!!! :mrblue:
Don't forget that San Diego played the Eagles in their home opener. So the Chargers should be the SB team this year. :P

Tell me about it. I'm sure TRJ's happy since Caldwell was the Ravens offensive coordinator, and Joe Flacco and Ray Rice had what was possibly their worst year ever. Question is, who will fill that empty spot? Hopefully someone good. Watch it be Jim Schwartz. :P
And with the Broncos winning, that guarantees a Super Bowl rematch next season (as the AFC West plays the NFC West).
I went 0 for 2 this week in pick 'em. I really suck at this.
I'll pick the Seahawks to win the Super Bowl. It could go either way, but I want them to win it more.
I think the Seahawks won't be as good as people say they will be.
So I saw this little thing on GameFAQs just a few minutes ago:
Epic fail!
Peyton Manning is MVP for the fifth time.
Congrats to the Seahawks. First SB ever!
Now the question is will they be back next year? I'm not sure what the deal is with them in regard to trades and salary caps. Hopefully they'll be able to keep most of their players.

Bills LB Kiko Alonso tore his ACL and is expected to miss season, per source. It’s considered a seven- to nine-month recovery. Blow for BUF.
When you're in a division with a team that is so consistently dominant, like the Patriots, it makes it extra difficult to make the playoffs.
Was that list of "offensive" team names supposed to be serious?? Most of those are so over-reaching that it's baffling and not even worthy of debate.
The first missed extra point 33 yards out. If you don't like this rule and it gets implemented, you may have a a grudge against..... the Panthers (?)

Not legit enough to make the playoffs. The ceiling for them this year is 6-10.
I feel so bad for those perpetually bad teams. It has to be so heartbreaking for those fan bases.
Since they killed Miami 62-7, they would've brushed by Indy (I believe that's who Tennessee beat originally) and possibly have beaten St. Louis in the Super Bowl. However then again, 34 wouldn't have been a great Super Bowl.

However then again, 34 wouldn't have been a great Super Bowl.Nope, they beat my Bills in the Music City Miracle game (payback for the Comeback game in 1993, perhaps?). And they haven't sniffed the playoffs since. :(
And it is nice to see the Patriots at the bottom of their division. :mrblue:
Dallas is horrible. Losing 28-3 going into half-time. It looks like another mediocre year for the NFC Least.
The process for the sale of the Buffalo Bills has taken a significant step forward today as a definitive agreement has been reached between the trust of the late Pro Football Hall of Famer Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. and the Pegula family, owners of the Buffalo Sabres and lead developers of Buffalo’s HarborCenter.
Subject to the approval of the NFL owners and the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, the definitive agreement calls for the Pegula family to acquire all of the interest in the Buffalo Bills franchise from the Wilson trust. The parties intend to submit the agreement for approval by the NFL owners at their meeting in New York City on October 8.
And just like that, the Redskins fall back down to earth.
Week 8 has Chargers Broncos. ;)
Tampa Bay is probably the worst team in the NFL right now except for maybe the Raiders.
PACKERS WIN!! :mryellow:  :mryellow:
Panthers and Bengals just tied!!!
The Vikings win
And the Bengals have proven that they are only good in the day, and awful at night.
The Browns are now in first place!
Also, the Steelers lost to the JETS!
I think we're all underestimating the Rams. I think they're average at best and shouldn't always be taken lightly. I mean, they were 7-9 last year. Not great by any means, but nothing humiliating about that considering it's the Rams.
Rams beat the Broncos!
Also, your first place.... Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Shits.
I gotta say it. Who the fuck is the coach of the Tennessee Titans? Whoever it is, he needs to be fired NOW for losing to the lowly Jets. I know we lost to them too, but at least we've recovered. The Titans just flat out suck.

Ken Whisenhunt, if you remember him from Arizona.
Looks like it will be Mariotta madness in either Tampa or Nashville.
This is Chicago's 6th prime time game, they had one on week 2 vs the 49ers.
Meanwhile, the Saints go from potentially locking up the South to being eliminated! :o
Guess who else is going to the playoffs. :afro:
.....That loss by the Broncos just gave the Pats home field advantage, didn't it? :x

Yes it did. Luckiest. Team. In. The. NFL.

I can't stand this team at all. Seriously, if the Pats make it to the Super Bowl at all I might not even watch it at all. There is nothing likable about this team. It feels like 3-4 of their wins every year are wins where they totally luck out on. This year, it was the Jets twice and Raiders. I really hope they go one and one.
And congrats to TSM's Bills for having a winning season. I know it's not the playoffs, but still, 9-7 for a team like this is promising if you ask me. ;)
PACKERS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!! :mryellow:  :mryellow:  :mryellow:  :mryellow:  :mryellow:  :mryellow:  :mryellow:  :mryellow:  :mryellow:  :mryellow:  :mryellow:  :mryellow:
Even though Rodgers got hurt early, he only missed 2 possessions and came back and pulled off the big victory. Now we get the 2 seed and the Bye!
Chargers really laid an egg! Losing to KC with a backup.
Seahawks grab the 1. This sucks
What happened to the Falcons. They didn't even show up against Carolina. The Panthers ran right through them. Mike Smith deserves to be fired.
Here are the playoffs
NFC:
1. Seahawks
2. Packers
3. Cowboys
4. Panthers
5. Cardinals
6. Lions
AFC:
1. Patriots
2. Broncos
3. Bengals/Steelers
4. Colts
5. Bengals/Steelers
6. Ravens
Doug Marrone has opted out of his contract as coach of the Buffalo Bills and is now a free agent to pursue other jobs available in the NFL.
Marrone exercised the unique option during the final hours of a three-day window that opened Monday, stipulated in the four-year contract he signed with the Bills in 2013. The opt-out clause was included in the original contract in the event of an ownership change, which occurred when Terry and Kim Pegula purchased the franchise in October.
"We are disappointed that Coach Marrone will no longer be an important part of our organization," Bills owner Terry Pegula said in a statement. "We thank him for all of his hard work and leadership during his tenure and wish him and his family the best with the next chapter in their lives.
"We will now begin the important process of conducting a thorough search for a new head coach as we continue to strive to reach our goal of returning to the playoffs and bringing a championship to Buffalo for our fans."
Meanwhile in New England: "We're on to Baltimore."
Same old Bungles.
Did anyone see that defensive PI penalty against the Cowboys in the 4th where the refs picked up the flag almost 20 seconds after calling it? To me, that ultimately affected the outcome of the game. I've never seen anything like that before. It's like Jerry Jones paid the refs to pick up the flag. Everyone in the house was mad at the refs after this happened, including me. The Lions got hosed. This is absolutely disgusting.
The Buffalo Bills are putting the finishing touches on a five-year deal that will make Rex Ryan their next head coach, sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
The hiring of Ryan, who will earn a salary of $5.5 million per year, would complete an extensive coaching search for the Bills, who have interviewed 12 candidates since Doug Marrone opted out of his contract on Dec. 31.
The Bills conducted a second interview with Ryan on Saturday night, sources told ESPN. He also interviewed for the Falcons' coaching vacancy. But when the Falcons dragged their feet on hiring Ryan, which they strongly considered doing at one point last week, he agreed to Buffalo's wishes for a second interview and the new deal, sources told ESPN.
Ryan and the Bills are expected to hire 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman to the same position in Buffalo, sources told ESPN. Ryan and Roman previously worked together as assistant coaches with the Ravens.
The day Gay-dy and Belicheat retire will be a glorious day.
When a game goes to overtime, each team is given one possession from its opponent's twenty-five yard line with no game clock, despite the one timeout per period and use of play clock. The team leading after both possessions is declared the winner. If the teams remain tied, overtime periods continue, with a coin flip determining the first possession. Possessions alternate with each overtime, until one team leads the other at the end of the overtime. Starting with the third overtime, a one point PAT field goal after a touchdown is no longer allowed, forcing teams to attempt a two-point conversion after a touchdown.
Breaking: A league source tells me the NFL is investigating the possibility the Patriots deflated footballs Sunday night. More to come.https://twitter.com/bkravitz/status/557053826415755265
Told if a league investigation confirms deflated footballs it will result in lost draft picks. Stay tuned.https://twitter.com/bkravitz/status/557055227271315456
At his introductory news conference last month, Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan declared "we're going to build a bully."
He wasn't lying.
ESPN has reported Richie Incognito, the offensive guard at the epicenter of the Miami Dolphins' 2013 bullying scandal, will be at One Bills Drive on Saturday for a physical.
A source close to Ryan informed The Buffalo News the physical is a formality and that Incognito will join the Bills. The source added that Ryan considered Incognito a high-priority acquisition.
Incognito's agent, David Dunn, did not return messages seeking comment.
The NFL indefinitely suspended Incognito halfway through that season for his role in harassing teammate Jonathan Martin. The Dolphins eventually cut Incognito, a 2012 Pro Bowler known for his nasty streak.
The NFL lifted Incognito's suspension in February 2014, but he did not play last year. The closest he got were workouts with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos. All declined to sign him.
Buffalo badly needs guard help, a deficiency that contributed significantly to its offensive line being among the NFL's worst. Analytics outlet Pro Football Focus graded Buffalo dead last in run blocking and 22nd in pass blocking.
The Philadelphia Eagles have a trade in place to send running back LeSean McCoy to the Buffalo Bills, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12415886/philadelphia-eagles-trade-lesean-mccoy-buffalo-bills (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12415886/philadelphia-eagles-trade-lesean-mccoy-buffalo-bills)
In return, the Bills will send linebacker Kiko Alonso to the Eagles, the source said.
Drafted in the second round of the 2009 draft out of Pittsburgh, McCoy has spent his entire six-season career in Philadelphia.
He rushed for 1,319 yards and tallied five touchdowns last season for the Eagles.
The trade can not be made official until the new league year begins next Monday.
A day after landing a dynamic new running back, the Buffalo Bills appear to have traded for their next starting quarterback.
The Bills announced Wednesday they've agreed to a trade with the Vikings to acquire Matt Cassel. FOX Sports reports the Bills will also receive a sixth-round pick in 2015 in exchange for a fifth-round pick in 2015 and a seventh-round pick in 2016. The trade will not become official until the start of the new league year on March 10.
Cassel, 32, has one year remaining on the two-year, $10 million deal he signed with Minnesota last March. He's due $4.15 million in 2015, including a $500,000 roster bonus this month.
Cassel spent the past two seasons with the Vikings. He started the team's first three games last season before being sent to injured reserve in late September with a foot injury. He has a 33-38 career record as a starter over 10 seasons with the Vikings, Chiefs and Patriots. New England selected Cassel in the seventh round of the 2005 draft.
Filed to ESPN: Tom Brady suspended four games, Pats lose 1st round pick in 2016 and a 4th in 2017, and team fined $1 million, per source:
I can't believe the Packers went from 4-6 to being one game away from making the Super Bowl. I bet GM1 is thrilled right now. Hopefully my Steelers can get the job done too.
