The Water Bottle of Ponce de' Leon - Possible Win?

Look, we all know how unfair and brutal Ponce de' Ldeon and the Lost Fountain of Youth's temple run was--but has anyone thought of an alternate route? The three temple guard locations were The Cave of Sighs, The Observatory, and the Room of the Harmonic Convergence. Since they won two pendants, would it have been better if the frontrunner went down to the Cave first and aencountered a dead end in the Wheel Room/Pit of Despair? Could it possibly have beviory hen, or a least the rtifact beng grabbed?

Every episode has a "possible" win at temple. In this occasion it probably would have been better for the frontrunner to be captured. Unfortunatly that didn't happen and the temple run was a loss

It would have made the run easier, but that's the whole point: their fate was decided overwhelmingly by luck, not skill.

Yeah, that's just one of the runs that you REALLY want to go back in time and warn them about. It was just an unfortunate circumstance that he chose to go up rather than go into the Cave of Scythes (that it what I believe it was called, because of all the stalactites and stalagmites) and get captured. However, who's to say that if he DID get taken out in the Observatory, that his partner would've made it anyway? (As she DID seem pretty SLOW-WITTED to me)

You have to remember that the Shrine-Tomb passage opened when James completed the Silver Monkey, but he went the long way, through the Pirate's Cove and Dungeon, which cost some valuable time as well. And who's not to say that the route could've taken the Monkeys below the Heart Room and then upwards. It at least wouldn't have hurt to try.

To sum it up, they would've won if Jessica went in first through the Cave of Size and if James would've then taken the Shrine-Tomb passage.
