Rate the Color Combinations (Temple Games Edition) - Purple vs. Silver

And tomorrow's match up is gonna be even worse. Some of the worst episodes ever come from that pair. I can't wait until we get to the Blue match ups. They had some neat match ups together.

And they all happen to be Red Jaguar episodes too. Blackbeard and Alhambra.

I guess it is good Red didn't go to the temple over Silver in other episodes. Luckily, we get Bandit Queen, Raccoon Collar, and Sultan Saladin.  

And Snow Cone. Which should've had Red going to the temple there.

Total word to Red not beating Silver often too. I probably wouldn't have minded if it was another shut out/ouch result either.

I voted 6. I like this combo alot because it reminds me of berries but the episodes were pretty bad/boring.

I gave this match up a 3. Why must all these Red combinations suck so badly? The colors looked extremely dull together, and the episode selection was, like Red vs. Orange, way too hit or miss. The episodes were either really good (Secret Map, Sultan Saladin, Kamehameha), or really bad (Alhambra, Blackbeard, Snow Cone), etc. Seriously, some of the WORST episodes possible are from this pair. I not only dislike this pair for that reason. The episode distribution was extremely lop sided, and Silver dominated way too much. Though with the episodes where Red DID beat Silver, I suppose that isn't exactly a bad thing. Furthermore, this combination had no consistency whatsoever. It was WAY overused in Season 1, not used at all in Season 2, and used only a little bit in Season 3. Needless to say, I can't wait to move on to tomorrow's match up.

I gave this combo a 3. If it wasn't for the great episode selection, then it would get a 1. The episodes here are like polar opposites. Kamehameha, Sir Edmund Hillary, Sultan Saladin, Bandit Queen, and Davy Crockett are all great episodes. On the other hand, I hate Blackbeard, Alhambra, and Snow Cone. -_- I felt that this combo was used too much too, even though it never happened in Season 2. Especially in Season 1 and early Season 3. I mean it appeared 3 times on one day in Season 1 (S1L3). And I hate the colors to this too. If there weren't so many episodes I love on here, then this combo would get a 1 easily.

As a Red Jaguars fan, I wouldn't oppose a 9-0 result at all. All of the Silver Snake runs (minus Snow Cone) totally deserved to go the temple. And their runs were enjoyable and great. Alhambra and Blackbeard on the other hand were disasters. I mean Steve and Lisa had no business in the temple in the first place.

I wouldn't have a problem with 9-0 Silver Snakes except that would mean Heather and Casey still would go to the temple. And judging from RJF's and my rankings for them, the Red Jaguars would be better off in the temple.

Yeah, Red totally should've gone to the temple in Snow Cone. Just like Silver should've gone to the temple in both Alhambra and Blackbeard. And I would be all for a 9-0 shut out, no matter how one sided the results would've looked. I mean Orange vs. Purple got an 8-0 shut out, so why not for here? I could edit the post and make it literally all Silver. But when that "Red" odd man out is Snow Cone, I think I'll pass.

Yeah, this combination definitely would've gotten a 1 from me if it wasn't for some of the episodes. Thankfully, episodes like Secret Map, Sultan Saladin, etc. are what save it from getting such a score.
