The only reason we call "Blackbeard's Treasure Map" as being the very first episode on Legends was because that was the first episode Nick GAS played when they started doing the season one episodes in production order. The problem with that being is that the entire episode itself is filmed in S1L5 layout like PPF mentioned including sharing the same moat and temple layout with those set of episodes. The only possible reason it being the first episode ever is that the episode was suppose to be a part of S1L1, but the producers postponed the entire episode and taped it in S1L5.

The only reason I called it the first temple run ever is because other people called it that in the past. I personally don't think it was the first temple run ever made. Obviously that title goes to "Galileo's Cannonball" and "Dead Man's Hand".

As for "Belshazzar", I am not sure the reasoning behind it having a later temple run than the rest of the other S1L1 episodes. That one is a mystery like "Nathan Hale".

And I placed my vote too. Although I think we all know who will win. ;)

Wasn't there a Kirk Fogg interview where he said that Blackbeard's Treasure Map was indeed the first episode ever? He said it took over 18 hours to finish and because of that, Sabrina probably wasn't thinking straight and gave us an awful temple run.

I think that run and The Golden Cup of Belshazzar were the two episodes in that 18 hour span. Because it took so long to finish those two episodes, the producers probably scrapped that layout and replaced it with the one Galileo's Cannonball started off with. Blackbeard's layout was probably brought back later in the season. Is it any wonder why that layout never saw any victories?
But Kirk said they only recorded ONE episode in that 18-hour span. And I'm led to believe it was the Belshazzar episode that took 18 hours to film. Kirk also said the kids were cranky and exhausted and didn't want to record a temple run at 11 at night. So naturally, Belshazzar was moved to S1L5 for the temple run. Blackbeard on the other hand, stayed in the S1L5 layout the whole episode. My guess is that Blackbeard was the first intended episode, but due to production constraints, they moved the episode all together. I mean, Blackbeard doesn't even have credits at the end of the episode, or any pictures during the legend.

And I've cast my vote too. Unlike the previous poll, it's probably gonna be an obvious choice. ;)

Well voting has closed, and "The Golden Cricket Cage of Khan" won by a landslide, as predicted. It doesn't require anymore explanation. So instead of giving a 12 paragraph rant on why I picked it, I'm just gonna say it deserved it.

Final rankings: (Explanations might come later)
#1: The Golden Cricket Cage of Khan
#2: The Bifocal Monocle of One-Eyed Jack
#3: The Snow Cone of Mt. Kilimanjaro
#4: Blackbeard's Treasure Map
#5: The Keys to the Alhambra
#6: The Lost Lion Tail of Little John
#7: The Marble Armrest of Xerxes
#8: The Cracked Crown of the Spanish King
#9: John Henry's Lost Hammer
#10: The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh
#11: The Secret Battle Plan of Nathan Hale
#12: The Smashed Printing Plate of Frederick Douglass
#13: The Crown of Queen Nzinga
#14: The Oracle Bowl of Delphi
#15: The Dried Apple Half of William Tell

As far as elimination games go, I think it's time to give them a rest. We've exhausted through every elimination game, and it's always the same three people playing. Just a heads up in case someone wants to start yet another game only three people are gonna play.

Yeah, I was going to say the same thing with regards to the elimination threads. As much as I love these threads, we have done too many already and should give it a break. And its no fun when the same three people are always voting. Besides, we have some other games we need to finish.

And no surprise "Cricket Cage" won. I have explained already why this is the worst temple run on the show, so no need to go there.  :mrsilver:

My personal opinion:

#1: The Golden Cricket Cage of Khan (Right where it should be)
#2: The Bifocal Monocle of One-Eyed Jack (good)
#3: The Snow Cone of Mt. Kilimanjaro (good enough, maybe one lower)
#4: Blackbeard's Treasure Map (good enough, maybe one higher)
#5: The Keys to the Alhambra (one lower)
#6: The Lost Lion Tail of Little John (one higher)
#7: The Marble Armrest of Xerxes (one lower)
#8: The Cracked Crown of the Spanish King (one lower)
#9: John Henry's Lost Hammer (couple spots higher)
#10: The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh
#11: The Secret Battle Plan of Nathan Hale (good enough)
#12: The Smashed Printing Plate of Frederick Douglass (good)
#13: The Crown of Queen Nzinga (good)
#14: The Oracle Bowl of Delphi (not bottom 15, probably put "Amelia Earhart" here)
#15: The Dried Apple Half of William Tell (two spots higher)

You say John Henry's Lost Hammer should've been placed higher, yet just like Blackbeard's Treasure Map, you're the one who put that run there. :?

No surprised that Golden Cricket Cage won. Worst run ever. Need I say more?

My opinions are as follows:

#1: The Golden Cricket Cage of Khan (Right where it should be) This.
#2: The Bifocal Monocle of One-Eyed Jack (good)
#3: The Snow Cone of Mt. Kilimanjaro (good enough, maybe one lower) This.
#4: Blackbeard's Treasure Map (one higher)
#5: The Keys to the Alhambra (good)
#6: The Lost Lion Tail of Little John (good)
#7: The Marble Armrest of Xerxes (good)
#8: The Cracked Crown of the Spanish King (a little lower)
#9: John Henry's Lost Hammer (much higher, eliminated way too soon)
#10: The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh (a little lower)
#11: The Secret Battle Plan of Nathan Hale (good enough)
#12: The Smashed Printing Plate of Frederick Douglass (good enough, maybe a little higher)
#13: The Crown of Queen Nzinga (good)
#14: The Oracle Bowl of Delphi (not bottom 15, probably put "Amelia Earhart" here) This.
#15: The Dried Apple Half of William Tell (good)

Amelia Earhart should have been in the bottom 15, period. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

Well, when you go back and look at the final rankings, you kind of think "What was I thinking when I voted that?". I am not sure why I got rid of "John Henry's Lost Hammer" early. Kim was way too stupid and ruined the run. It was unbearable to watch and knowing Billy didn't have a chance in the temple either ruined the fun of the run.

As for "Blackbeard's Treausre Map", I could care less about the ranking of those top five runs. I hated all of them almost equally, so where it finished didn't really matter to me. Funny how the final 5 either involved the Silver Snakes or Red Jaguars in a way.  :o
