Another Wheel Room Question
« on: January 17, 2007, 11:42:14 PM »
Okay, I'm not a very big Season 1 fan, but in the episodes that feature the Wheel Room(or should I call it the Pit of Despair) has the wheel blocking the bottom door of the Cave of Sighs. The players always wasted time climbing up the ledge in the Cave and climbing down the ladder in the Wheel Room. In Season 2, the Rcok Quarry-Ledges bottom door was extremely actuve. Does anyone think that a player would have saved time if the wheel was further awy so that players could use the bottom door?

To answer your question, that would have required a smaller wheel.  It appeared that they just reused the hamster wheel from Double Dare in the 1st season of Legends in a cost-cutting move, so they had to work with it.  That wheel was designed so that full grown adults could use it.

Weren't full grown adults only on Double Dare 2000, when Legends season 1 was in 1993?

Maybe they made it big just in case.  I mean, imagine if Brandon from The Bone Necklace of the Blackfeet Chief was on a Season 1 episode and had to cross thru the Pit of Despair.  The wheel would've only been just big enough.

Oh yeah. GaS really needs to show a not-2000 Double Dare. Wasn't there like a Triple Dare or something?
