Title: Another Temple Guard Emerges from the Temple!!!
Post by: The Dark Enforcer on August 07, 2008, 08:33:01 PM
Hey everyone, sorry if this news is a little belated, but ANOTHER TEMPLE GUARD has been POSITIVELY IDENTIFIED!!! This guard is a season 1 temple guard, and HER (YES HER, indicating a FEMALE TEMPLE GUARD) name is Kelley Estes. According to her page on the Internet Movie Database (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2374575/ (http://http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2374575/)), she was the Temple Guard on Episode #23 (The Belly Button of Buddha).

I just wanted to try to inject some new life into the forum, so when I found this out, I came right back here and posted this.

Why would the people at IMDB know something we don't? It's possible this was true, but the fact that anybody can add any info they like to any IMDB page makes me too skeptical to say she was positively identified. I don't want to understate how interesting this is if it is true, though. Good find.

A very good point, Ed! However, IMDB ISN'T like Wikipedia, where every Tom Dick or Harry can edit the pages. First of all, you have to have an account that's "in good standing". (Meaning no false submissions) Second of all, There is a review process involved. For example, I submitted an addition of the name "Jennifer Holtz" to the cast list for the episode "Galileo's Cannonball", and it took about a SOLID WEEK for it to show up. They have a team that investigates the validity of submissions BEFORE they're ever allowed to grace their pages.

Also, thank you for the compliment.

I guess my point is, why would anybody be able to research the show better than we? I don't see any citation that says she was a guard on a reputable website, so I'm naturally skeptical.

Oh, I guess that I just misunderstood what you were saying. Sorry!
