Title: Legends: Rebirth-The Golden Rose of King Midas
Post by: The Bandit King on December 24, 2009, 07:34:48 AM
Episode 27: The Golden Rose of King Midas

The camera winds and twists its way through a thick jungle of strange and exotic plants. After a few wrong turns, it finally stops in front of an ancient Mayan temple. At the base of the temple, a giant stone head sits. Suddenly, the head’s eyes light up and it begins to speak:

Legends of the Hidden Temple: Rebirth!” These words appear on the screen. “With your guide, Kirk Fogg! And here he is now!”

A middle-aged man wearing a denim shirt and blue jeans swings in on a rope. He drops down and runs up the Steps of Knowledge, microphone in hand.

“Thank you! Thank you, everybody! Nice to see everyone again! It’s good to see you again, Olmec! Welcome to Legends of the Hidden Temple: Rebirth. The rooms are filled with lost treasures protected by mysterious Mayan Temple Guards. Only Olmec knows the legends behind each of these newly discovered treasures in his temple…which one are we gonna hear about today, Olmec?”

“The legend of the Golden Rose of King Midas,” Olmec replies.

“Oh, the Golden Rose of King Midas,” Kirk repeats. “Well, the legend is set, and one of these six teams will have a chance to retrieve the golden rose—will it be:

“The Red Jaguars?” The camera zooms in on each team as they are introduced.
“The Blue Barracudas?
“The Green Monkeys?
“The Orange Iguanas?
“The Purple Parrots?
“Or the Silver Snakes?

“They’ll have to pass some tough physical and mental tests, but in the end, only one of these teams will have the right to enter Olmec’s Temple. But first, we have to cross the Moat, and Olmec will tell us how to do that today…”

Olmec begins to explain the Moat Crossing:
“Before you, a line of stepping stones extends across the Moat. When Kirk gives the signal, one player from each team will begin walking across the stones to the other side. Once they’re safely across, their partner will cross in the same way. But be sure to step on only the black stones—if you step on a white stone, it will sink, and if you touch the water, you’ll have to go back and start again. Once both players reach the other side, run over and hit the gong.” Kirk hits the Silver Snakes’ gong to demonstrate. “The first four teams to hit their gongs will go on to the next round!”

“All right, let’s get started,” Kirk says. “Hey teams, are you ready?”
All six teams scream and cheer in response.
“Olmec, are you ready?” Kirk asks.
“Let’s rock,” Olmec replies.
“Okay,” says Kirk. “On your mark, get set, GO!”

All six teams start out on a strong foot, with all six teams’ first players making it across—except the Blue Barracudas’ girl, who falls into the water just before she can step onto the dock. “Whoa—looks like she’ll have to go back!” Kirk observes. The Orange Iguanas’ girl, Purple Parrots’ boy and Red Jaguars’ girl all make it across, and run over to hit their team’s gong in that order. “One, two, three teams, just like that—we need one more!” Kirk exclaims. The Silver Snakes’ boy steps on a white stone and sinks into the water, prompting a spotter to send him back. The Blue Barracudas’ girl makes it across on her second try; however, the Green Monkeys’ girl successfully crosses after a slow trek across all of the black stones. She is helped off the stones by her partner and rushes over to hit the gong to end the Moat Crossing.

“That’s it! Four teams!” Kirk shouts, and he hurries over to stand beside the Purple Parrots. “Purple Parrots were over with no problem at all, and going on to the Steps of Knowledge are the Purple Parrots…along with the Orange Iguanas!” Kirk briefly pauses between each team’s name to allow the audience to applaud for them. “And the Green Monkeys…and the Red Jaguars! The Silver Snakes and the Blue Barracudas gave it a great effort, and we’re not sending ‘em home empty-handed. We’ve got a great gift for ‘em, and here’s what it is!” They receive a $50 gift certificate from Old Navy.

Kirk and the four remaining teams are now standing atop the Steps of Knowledge. “As the quest continues, it’s now time for Olmec to tell us about the Golden Rose of King Midas. But teams, pay attention, because your knowledge of the legend can bring you a step closer to Olmec’s Temple…”

Olmec begins to tell the story:
“Of all the leaders in history, perhaps none learned a more valuable lesson than the mythological Greek king Midas. Midas had a huge kingdom, a luxurious castle, a beautiful daughter and riches beyond compare. However, this was not enough for Midas.
“‘If I only had more money, I would be the happiest man in the world.’
“Legend has it that just then, the Greek god Dionysus appeared before Midas.
“‘Are you sure about that?’ Dionysus asked.
“‘Yes, I’m sure! If I had one wish, I wish that everything I touch could turn to gold.’
“Dionysus snapped his fingers. ‘Consider it done,’ he said, and disappeared into a cloud of smoke. When Midas woke the next morning, he found that his sheets, his pillow, and even his mattress were now solid gold.
“‘My wish! It’s come true!’
“Midas went all over his palace, touching everything he could find, which promptly turned to gold, including all the roses in his royal gardens. Soon, he had worked up an appetite, and sat down to breakfast; however, every piece of food he touched turned to gold.
“‘Oh…and I’m so hungry…’
“Just then, Midas’s daughter entered the dining hall, and threw her arms around her father. But the second she touched him, she became a solid gold statue.
“‘No! Not my precious! What kind of curse have I brought upon myself?’
“Just then, Dionysus appeared in another cloud of smoke.
“‘Have you learned your lesson?’ he asked.
“‘Yes! Please, just give me my daughter back!’
“With that, Dionysus snapped his fingers again. Midas touched his daughter, and she immediately returned to normal. Midas never again wished for more than what he had, but he kept one solid-gold rose from his garden as a souvenir. Your quest is to find the Golden Rose of King Midas and bring it back here.”

“Thank you, Olmec,” Kirk says. “So tell us, where is the Golden Rose?”

“The Golden Rose of King Midas can be found in the Room of the Mystical Keys,” Olmec answers. The camera zooms in on the Golden Rose on the center part of the guardrail of the room before fading back to Kirk.

“Ooh,” Kirk responds. “All right, teams, you’re now standing on the Steps of Knowledge. In a moment, Olmec’s gonna ask you a question. If you think you know the answer, stomp down on that ancient marking in front of you. If you’re right, you’ll be able to step down to the next level, but if you’re wrong or you run out of time, the other teams will get a chance to answer.” Kirk begins descending the Steps. “The first two teams to make it to the bottom level will be one step closer to Olmec’s Temple. Olmec…we’re now ready for your first question.”

“Was Midas King of: Greece, Rome, or—”
The Purple Parrots ring in. “Greece?”
“That is correct,” Olmec replies. The Purple Parrots proceed to the second step.
“Purple Parrots, step down,” instructs Kirk. “Next question, Olmec.”

“Did Midas wish for: a son, more money, or—”
The Purple Parrots ring in again. “More money.”
“That is correct,” Olmec replies. The Purple Parrots advance to the next-to-last step.
“Whoa—just like that, the Purple Parrots are just one step away from the Temple Games!” Kirk exclaims. “But remember, we need two teams—next question, Olmec.”

“Which Greek god granted Midas his wish: Apollo, Dionysus, or Hephaestus?”
The Red Jaguars break the string of Purple Parrots ringing in. “Dine-ices?”
“That…is correct,” Olmec responds. The Red Jaguars step to the second step.
“Good job, Red Jaguars,” Kirk says. “Next question, please.”

“What did Midas wish everything he touched would become: silver, gold, or platinum?”
The Purple Parrots ring in. “Gold!”
That is correct!” Olmec booms. The Purple Parrots leap to the bottom step.
“And the Purple Parrots are headed to the Temple Games!” Kirk affirms as they high-five one another. “Still need one more team—will it be the Red Jaguars, the Green Monkeys, or the Orange Iguanas? Olmec, next question, please.”

“According to our legend, which of these did Midas touch first: his couch, his bed, or his television set?”
The Orange Iguanas ring in. “His…bed?”
“That is correct,” Olmec booms. The Orange Iguanas join the Red Jaguars on the second step.
“All right, Orange Iguanas are on the board!” Kirk narrates. “Still time for the Green Monkeys, though—next question.”

“What kind of flowers did Midas raise in his garden: lilies—”
The Red Jaguars ring in. “Roses.”
“Correctamundo,” Olmec replies. The Red Jaguars descend to the penultimate step.
“All right—now the Red Jaguars are just a step away,” Kirk comments. “But anything can happen. Olmec, continue, please.”

“Whom did Midas accidentally turn to gold: his wife—”
The Orange Iguanas ring in. “Uh…his…daughter!”
“That…is…correct!” Olmec says, mimicking how the team answered the question. The Orange Iguanas join the Red Jaguars on the next-to-last step.
“Oh yeah—now the Orange Iguanas are just a step away, too,” Kirk remarks. “Like I said, anything can happen. Next question.”

“When Midas touched his daughter again, did she: turn into more gold—”
The Red Jaguars ring in early. “Uh, she…turned back to normal.”
“That…is…CORRECT!” Olmec roars. The Red Jaguars jump to the bottom step.

“And that’s it!” Kirk shouts as he runs onstage to join the two advancing teams. “Our two teams for the Temple Games are the Red Jaguars, and the Purple Parrots! Green Monkeys and Orange Iguanas, come on down here, you guys. You guys did great, too, and we’ve got a great gift for you guys for trying—here’s what it is!” They receive Skechers Luminators shoes.

Kirk is now standing on the bottom of the Steps of Knowledge between the two advancing teams. “The Red Jaguars and the Purple Parrots will be playing for the right to enter Olmec’s Temple, and we’re gonna see that right after this!”

The camera cuts away from Kirk, flies in close to the Temple’s entrance, and looks to the right of it at a large patch of foliage as the title appears onscreen, and we fade to a commercial.
Title: Legends: Rebirth-The Golden Rose of King Midas
Post by: The Bandit King on December 24, 2009, 01:16:49 PM
We return from the break to see Kirk standing in front of the Temple with the two remaining teams.

“Welcome back to Legends: Rebirth,” he says. “Now, the glory goes to the fastest and the strongest. But first, let’s meet our teams, whaddya think?

“On the Red Jaguars, we have Leslie—she likes to make macramé, and she wants to be a nurse when she gets older, and her partner is Charlie—he plays soccer and baseball, and he also plays the trumpet—let’s hear it for the Red Jaguars!” The audience applauds for the brown-eyed girl with long wavy sandy-blonde hair and the tall boy with black hair and hazel eyes hidden by glasses.

“And their opponents, the Purple Parrots, are made up of Annie—she likes to dance, and her favorite subjects are math and science, and her partner is Vince—he likes to play all kinds of sports, but he especially likes soccer and basketball, and he wants to be a veterinarian—let’s give a hand to the Purple Parrots!” The audience claps for the blue-eyed girl with short black hair and the slightly taller boy with brown hair and hazel eyes.

“All right, are you guys ready?” Kirk asks both teams.

“Yeah!” they reply.

“All right, go get ready for the Temple Games. Now, these Temple Games—in these Temple Games, our teams are competing for…” Kirk retrieves a Pendant of Life from his pouch and holds it up to the camera. “…Pendants of Life. They’re gonna need those Pendants to protect them from the Temple Guards as they make their way through Olmec’s Temple. There are three Temple Games. Olmec, tell us about the first one, if you would, please…”

“Since you said ‘please’,” says Olmec. The black lights under Olmec come on as he begins to explain the first Game:

“When Midas first received his Golden Touch, he touched everything in his palace he could find, including the roses in his garden. Your task is to find the four golden roses in King Midas’s garden. When Kirk gives the signal, insert your peg into one of the holes on the wall before you. If you find a golden rose, it will sprout up at the top of the wall, and pollen will rain down on you; otherwise, climb up and try a different hole. The first player to find all four golden roses or…the player that’s further along at the end of thirty seconds…wins.”

“Going in search of the golden roses,” remarks Kirk. “Set the clock for thirty seconds!” The clock slams down in the corner with a loud gong sound effect. “On your mark, get set, GO!”

Leslie and Annie each begin scaling their way up the two-sided slanted wall, inserting their pegs in the holes in it all the way. About twelve seconds into the game, a small, gold-colored tube erupts from the top of Annie’s wall, and confetti shoots out of it, indicating that she found a correct hole. A gold tube appears on Leslie’s side about five seconds later. Both Annie and Leslie find their second tube with about fifteen seconds left on the clock. The two girls have now reached the top of their respective wall, and both head downward. Annie finds a correct hole with five seconds to spare, and time expires soon afterwards.

“All right, that’s it!” exclaims Kirk as he rushes back onscreen. “Come back down here—they had to climb and climb some more in that game; let’s see how we did.” Kirk glances back at the wall. “Let’s see—the Red Jaguars found two gold roses, and…the Purple Parrots found three gold roses—that means the Purple Parrots get the half Pendant of Life!” The audience applauds briefly. “So the Purple Parrots have a half Pendant now, but the Red Jaguars can still catch up. This next game’s worth a half Pendant as well—Olmec, tell us about it…”

Olmec begins:
“Almost as soon as Midas wished for the Golden Touch, he began to regret it, because all his food would turn to gold before he ate it. In this game, you will be removing the golden food from Midas’s table. When Kirk gives the signal, jump up, grab a piece of fruit, come back around and place it in your bin. Then run around, grab another piece of fruit and do it again. The first player to clear all the fruit from Midas’s table, or…the player with the most fruit at the end of sixty seconds…wins.”

“Time to set the table,” says Kirk. “Let’s set the clock for sixty seconds!” The clock slams down in the corner with the usual sound effect. “On your mark, get set, GO!”

Charlie and Vince each jump up high enough to get one piece of gold-painted plastic fruit on their first try, and they both drop it in their basket. Vince gets another one, but Charlie doesn’t jump up high enough on his second try. Vince manages to get a piece of fruit almost every time he jumps up, even though he misses the basket a few times. Charlie isn’t nearly as consistent as Vince is, and time finally expires.

“All right, stop spinning!” Kirk instructs. “Come down here, guys, and we’ll count ‘em up!” A spotter brings both bins over to Kirk, and Kirk kneels beside them. “Red Jaguars got…one, two, three, four, five pieces of fruit; and the Purple Parrots had…one, two, three, four, five, six, seven…eight pieces of fruit! Wow! That means the Purple Parrots get the half Pendant of Life!” The audience applauds for a few seconds. “So now, the Purple Parrots have one full Pendant to the Red Jaguars’ zero Pendants. But now, it’s time for the third and final Temple Game. It’s worth one full Pendant of Life—Olmec, tell us about Temple Game #3…”

Olmec begins to explain the final Game:
“When Midas undid his wish, his daughter reverted back to normal, but everything else that he touched remained solid gold. In this game, you will be helping Midas clear his palace of some of the golden objects. When Kirk gives the signal, grab a golden object, and then jump down from the platform you’re standing on. Then, your partner will bounce up to you, catch the object, come down and place it in your team’s bin. Then, you’ll go back up and grab another object. The first team to get all four objects, or…the player—team with the most objects at the end of sixty seconds wins!”

“This is for the Temple,” Kirk explains. “Set the clock for sixty seconds, please!” The clock slams down in the corner, ready to go. “On your mark, get set, GO!”

Both teams have a little trouble getting the hang of this new Game—the bungee-cord-strapped boys must grab an object and drop down to their partner, who uses a leaf-adorned trampoline to bounce up to them and drop it in their team’s bin. The Purple Parrots manage to get the hang of the game first, as Annie drops a golden staff in the bin with about 42 seconds left. The Red Jaguars are quite a bit worse about it, as Leslie can’t bounce up high enough to reach the objects Charlie tries to hand off to her. The Red Jaguars finally get a golden object in their bin with 21 seconds to go, but the Purple Parrots already have two in their bin by this time. Both teams get one more object in their bin just before the clock reaches zero.

“Okay, that’s it!” Kirk shouts as he runs back onscreen. The spotters are seen unhooking the boys from their bungee cords and helping them down off the seven-foot high platforms. “Come down here, guys—let’s see how each team did!” Another spotter brings the bins to Kirk, and he kneels beside them. “Let’s see…the Red Jaguars got one, two golden objects; and the Purple Parrots got one, two…three golden objects! That gives the Purple Parrots the full Pendant, giving them two Pendants; the Red Jaguars don’t have any, so the Purple Parrots are goin’ to the Temple!” The audience applauds as Annie and Vince high-ten one another. “Red Jaguars, you guys were great, too; you faced a tough team over here. But we’ve got a great gift for you guys for playing, too; here’s what it is!” They receive Wii Sports Resort for the Nintendo Wii.

As the prize disappears off-screen, Kirk is seen standing between Vince and Annie with his hands on their shoulders. “Now it’s time to see if the Purple Parrots can make it through Olmec’s Temple and bring back that Golden Rose of King Midas…right after this!”

The camera flies over Kirk’s head. He ducks, and the camera zooms in on the back wall of the Bottomless Pit as the title appears onscreen, and we go to a commercial.

We return from the break to find Kirk standing in front of the Temple with the winning team.

“Welcome back,” Kirk says. “The Purple Parrots have proven themselves, and now have earned the right to enter Olmec’s Temple. But first, Olmec will give them some information to help them retrieve the Golden Rose of King Midas…”

Olmec begins to explain the Temple layout as the camera gives us a first-person walkthrough of the Temple:
“You could start…by running up the stairs to the Crypt! Grab the book from the skeletons, and pass into the Bottomless Pit! Swing across the gap, and climb into the Lunar Landing. Align the puzzle on the satellite, and a door may open into the Clockwork Room. Set the clocks for the correct time, and pass into the Room…of the Mystical Keys! Reach into the compartments to find the two correct keys, and open the door to the SHRIIIIINE of the Silver Monkey! Assemble the statue and you may be headed toward the Room…of the Secret Password. Find the tablet with the correct inscription and shout it out to open the door to the Pharaoh’s Secret Passage. Slide down the tunnel to the Dungeon, where you could smash through the wall into the Dark Forest—but beware of the Temple Guards that may inhabit the trees! Find the key in the tree, and you’ll enter…the Jungle Ruins! Climb over the ruins, and you’ll gain entry to the Atlantean Altar. Uncover the tile that lets in the waters of Atlantis, then…race through the Pit, climb through the Ledges, race down the stairs and back through the Temple Gate. The choices are yours and yours alone!” Olmec pauses. “You won 2 Pendants in the Temple Games. Who’s going first?”

“I am,” declares Vince.

“Very well, Vince,” Olmec replies. “When Kirk gives the signal, you’ll race through the Gate into the Temple and make your way toward the Golden Rose. Hidden inside the Temple are Temple Guards assigned to protect three specific rooms. You can trade your Pendant for an extra life and go on, but…if you’re caught without a Pendant, you’ll be taken out of the Temple, and it’ll be Annie’s turn to enter and try his luck. If you can reach the Golden Rose, all the doors of the Temple will instantly unlock, and the Temple Guards will vanish. Return through the Gates with the Golden Rose of King Midas in three minutes, and you’ll both be handsomely rewarded…and here’s how!”

• Just for making it this far, they’ll get a sports package from Outdoor Products.
• If they can grab the Golden Rose within three minutes, they’ll also receive a bicycle from Mongoose.
• And if they can bring the Golden Rose out of the Temple before three minutes expires, they’ll win a trip to the Bahamas.

“All right, let’s see if they can make it back and win that trip to the Bahamas,” says Kirk. “Vince, you’ll need your mouthpiece in, since you’re going in first. Let’s set the clock for three minutes, please!” The clock slams down in the bottom right-hand corner with a loud gong.

“Olmec, lower your gate, please,” Kirk asks. Olmec moans gutturally as the gate is lowered, and the black lights under him go out.

“Looks like Vince is ready, here,” observes Kirk.

Vince nods.

“On your mark,” Kirk begins, “get set, GO!”

Vince rushes up the stairs and soon disappears behind Olmec. He slides down, entering the Ledges (2:54) and crawls through the rocky outcroppings, hitting the actuator for the Bottomless Pit. When that door doesn’t open, he tries climbing up higher to reach the upper crawl tube. When that door won’t open as well, he climbs up and tries the actuator for the Crypt, and finally finds an open door (2:35). “That door leads to the Crypt,” Kirk explains as Vince climbs up into the room. “Now he has to find the right skeleton!” Vince pulls the golden book from the leftmost skeleton, opening the door to the Bottomless Pit, but also revealing the first TEMPLE GUARD behind the secret door in the room (2:26). “Oh, the first Temple Guard!” Kirk shouts as Vince fumbles with his Pendant. “Give him that Pendant and you can keep going!” Vince hands over his Pendant and progresses through the open door into the Pit, where he grabs the rope and swings across with little difficulty. He hits the actuator for the Clockwork Room, opening the door (2:13). “All right—now he’s in the Clockwork Room,” narrates Kirk. “But what time should the clocks be set for?” Vince looks at the large clock on the Temple Guard door at the back of the room and sees that it’s set for 12 o’clock, so he goes to work on the stage-left clocks, synchronizing them with the large one. Afterwards, he successfully sets the right-hand clocks, and when they all read 12, the door downward to the Atlantean Altar opens (1:55). Vince climbs the ladder down into the room and jumps down to avoid the last few rungs, but before he can do anything, out jumps the second TEMPLE GUARD (1:48).

“Oh, Temple Guard got him! Go, Annie!” Kirk shouts. Annie trots up the stairs into the Temple, where she slides down into the Ledges, following Vince’s path exactly. “She says she wants to make an impact—let’s see if she can go all the way!” Kirk narrates. Annie finally reaches the Atlantean Altar (1:20), where she jumps off the ladder and heads to the back of the room. She uncovers the bottom right-hand tile first, but it only reveals white light. She continues to uncover tiles until she comes to the last one, which finally reveals the blue light. The lighted ball at the front ripples around the room, and a door opens (1:06). “Oh, that’s it—now she’s headed to the Jungle Ruins!” Kirk narrates. Annie sees the open door and progresses through it. “Now she’s right under the Golden Rose!” Kirk explains. The camera cuts to Vince, clapping and cheering her on. After some trouble with a piece of ruins in the middle of the room, Annie finally reaches the other side and hits the actuator for the Dark Forest, opening the door (0:47). “Oh, she’s headed into the Dark Forest now,” Kirk explains. “And hopefully, no Temple Guards reside in the trees there!” Annie reaches into the stage-left tree in search of a key, but comes out empty-handed (0:37). She tries the stage-right tree, where she does find a key (0:31). “There’s the key—now which door will it open?” Kirk asks no one in particular. Annie goes to the back of the room and tries the left-hand door (0:26), the middle door (0:21), and the right-hand door (0:15), but nothing works. When this happens, she simply heads over to the breakaway wall and plows through it, entering the Dungeon (0:08). “Oh, eight seconds—can she make it?” Kirk narrates. Annie starts to climb the ladder up to the Shrine of the Silver Monkey, but time expires before she can hit the actuator.

“Oh, they ran out of time!” Kirk laments as Vince looks disappointed. “They couldn’t get the Golden Rose in time…I thought they were gonna do it, personally! That’s okay, though, they still get the sports packages for playing, and I know they had a great time—I sure did! But we’ve gotta get out of here. We’ll see you next time, and remember: it’s not just Legends, it’s Legends: Rebirth! Buh-bye!”

Kirk and Vince chat and wave goodbye to the crowd. The camera shows the insane amount of plastic plant life in one part of the set, and a rubber snake slithering along the logs that make up the guardrail of the Dark Forest. Just before the Stone Stanley logo appears onscreen, Annie emerges from the Temple, and Kirk puts his hand on her shoulder.

The Golden Rose of King Midas
Season 1, Layout 3
Artifact Location
: The Room of the Mystical Keys
Team: Purple Parrots (Annie Roberts & Vince Huber)
Pendants: 2
Result: Ran out of time

“Wasted potential” came to mind when I watched this Temple Run. This team certainly wasn’t the fastest team to come out of the woodwork, but they were fairly quick, and seemed to know what they were doing. It just didn’t end well for them due to a hard Temple Layout.

Vince was a pretty fast contestant, and he seemed to know just what to do in each room. He spent just a little too long in the Ledges for my taste, but other than that, he did pretty well. He was taken out in the Atlantean Altar with 1:48 to go.

Despite taking an unnecessary trip into the Ledges, Annie didn’t do anything vastly wrong, either. The Atlantean Altar and the Jungle Ruins slowed her down quite a bit, and she got short-changed in the Dark Forest when no doors opened upward. Time expired as she was climbing the ladder to the Shrine in the Dungeon.

There’s not much to say about this episode—just that the tough Layout prevented a pretty fair team from achieving victory.

Rating: 6 out of 10

Notes and Trivia: This is the only Season 1, Layout 3 run in which the team starts in the Ledges instead of the Crypt.

This episode features a rare Olmec mistake: when Olmec is explaining the third Temple Game, he almost says that the player (instead of the team) who’s further along wins.

I liked the newly introduced third Temple Game in this episode, but they really need to make the platform lower to the floor, so the girls can jump up high enough to reach the objects the boys pass off.

Creative use of the "victory salute" Temple Game and nice team game.  The round was a pretty good read. :P It turned out great either way.
