First time Ravens have ever beaten the Steelers in the playoffs and first time Flacco beat Big Ben in the playoffs. Flacco and Harbaugh also keep their "win first game of the playoffs" streak alive too! Good game, PP319 and sorry to see the Steelers lose. Their offense definitely missed Bell tonight (stupid Bengals) and Big Ben was off once he got that concussion. Sorry to see them have to go so early. But it was a good game.

Next up is New England... again! Ravens are 2-1 vs. Patriots and let's see if they can make it 3-1.

Indeed. They are 0-6 since 2005 in playoff games and under Marvin Lewis. They haven't even won a playoff game since 1990! The year I was born too. . Seriously, no one is afraid of them or going to take them seriously in the future. Forever a loser team.

Our last game is Detroit-Dallas, with the Cowboys trailing by 7-0 now. Another team that sucks in the playoffs.

Did anyone see that defensive PI penalty against the Cowboys in the 4th where the refs picked up the flag almost 20 seconds after calling it? To me, that ultimately affected the outcome of the game. I've never seen anything like that before. It's like Jerry Jones paid the refs to pick up the flag. Everyone in the house was mad at the refs after this happened, including me.

The Lions got hosed. This is absolutely disgusting.

Karma, after stepping on Rodgers, the refs step on the Lions and killed them. 

I was shocked when that happened. However, after looking at it, Pettigrew was actually grabbing part of the face mask and whoever that Dallas linebacker barely touched him.

Wow, it looks the NFL wants the Cowboys in the Super Bowl bad. Definitely one of the shadiest calls since the Fail Mary Seahawks/Packers game. I think pass interference penalties in general are way too harsh and BS. I do not think that the team should get the ball at the mark of the penalty. A 15 yard penalty would be much better than giving the offense a good field position. The whole idea behind pass interference is for the defense to play the ball and not the player. And the Lions player clearly did that in tonight's game. Poor Lions, they can never catch a lucky break.

I did manage to go 4 for 4 during the first round. Not happy to see the Cowboys win at all though.

Baltimore Ravens vs. New England Patriots (Homer pick and the Ravens have Brady and Patriot's number. I like our chances against New England even though it won't be easy)
Indianapolis Colts vs. Denver Broncos (Hopefully the bye gave Manning some extra rest. I think Luck will have trouble against Denver and Manning)
Carolina Panthers vs. Seattle Seahawks (I REALLY want the Panthers to win this game, but the Seahawks are a force to be reckoned with at home. I think the Seahawks are the favorite NFC team for the Super Bowl.)
Dallas Cowboys vs. Green Bay Packers (I have a feeling that this will be a close game. But Rogers will win it in a close ending at Lambeau)

If my predictions hold correct, here is how the AFC/NFCCG games will look like:

Ravens vs Patriots (Really great matchup, but New England gets revenge)
Panthers vs Seahawks (Carolina could give Seattle a run for their money, but it's in Seattle, and the Seahawks already beat the Panthers, so...)
Cowboys vs Packers (Homer pick, Go Pack Go! )
Colts vs Broncos (Manning's old team vs Manning's new team finally meet in the playoffs 3 years late.)

Okay, I've decided to change my pick in the Broncos-Colts game. I think it will be a close one, but I have the Colts winning now because playoff Manning always tends to choke. I think this is Luck's year.

I would love to see Indy win that game. My opinion has changed about them over the season. Even though it annoys me that they are an elite team like the Manning days, I have to respect what Luck has done for the team. He took the team with the worst record in one season and made them into a playoff caliber team. Ever since Luck joined the Colts, they have made the playoffs every year since. Also, Luck has beaten Manning before too. Now it will be interesting to see if he can beat his old team's QB in the playoffs.

I REALLY want to see Carolina upset Seattle though.

I read something where the defending Super Bowl champion has not won a playoff game the next year since 2005. If that's the case, then I'm tempted to pick the Panthers.
