Week 17 is here and so are my picks for this week.

Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans (easy pick, but who gets the #1 draft pick if the Titans and Bucs lose?)  
Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons (the Falcons are undefeated in divisional play, so I pick them)
Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens (could be a tricky game, but the Browns are starting Connor Shaw. Who knows how he'll do)  
Dallas Cowboys at Washington Redskins (Dallas is hot on the road, but I wonder if Dallas will get a first round bye if they win and the Lions lose)  
Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers (the Lions have no chance in GB) 
Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans (Bill O'Brien deserves coach of the year for how he's turned the Texans around, playoffs or not)
San Diego Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs (the Chargers will find some way to blow it, giving the Ravens the 6 seed)
New York Jets at Miami Dolphins (the Dolphins have had an okay year, but they blew one too many games)
Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings (I think the Bears will lose on purpose just so they have a better draft pick)
Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots (yeah, the Pats will not rest their starters because it's the Pats)
Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants (I have no faith in Buttfumble)
New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (pointless game, but I won't be surprised if the Saints somehow blow this one)
Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos (the Broncos will be okay)
Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers (the 49ers will find a way to get to 8-8, but the weird thing about this is that even if the Cardinals lose, they can go from 6 to 5 if the Lions lose because of tiebreakers )
St. Louis Rams at Seattle Seahawks (it's in Seattle, the Rams have no chance)
Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers (we want a home game badly, so we're gonna play our hearts out for it)

Yes it did. Luckiest. Team. In. The. NFL.        

I can't stand this team at all.    Seriously, if the Pats make it to the Super Bowl at all I might not even watch it at all. There is nothing likable about this team. It feels like 3-4 of their wins every year are wins where they totally luck out on. This year, it was the Jets twice and Raiders. I really hope they go one and one.

And to answer your question, it looks like the Bucs will get the #1 draft pick if they lose this Sunday. I am not sure the reasoning, but I guess it is because the Titans have a better conference record than them? Either way, this team went from a "dark horse playoff team" to literally the worst team in the league. BUT they are definitely better than two wins. They lost OT games to the Vikings and Saints this year and really should've beaten the Browns and Bengals in their games. So they are definitely better than their record.

The Titans are by far the worst team this year. They don't even look competitive in most of their games. Either them or the Redskins are the worst teams this year.

Easy solution: Root for whoever they're playing against. Worked like a charm in their infamous 18-1 season!

Bad news for the Chiefs and their playoff hopes. QB Alex Smith is out with a lacerated spleen and Chase Daniel will start in his place. With that, I don't think the Chiefs stand any chance of winning their game against the Chargers. That being said, I'm changing my pick for that game to SD. Sure, Chase Daniel started in week 17 against this team last year and he did rather well, but the Chargers I think will be too much now that Alex Smith is out.

Seriously, if there's one team that could be considered luckier than the Pats, it's the Chargers with how close they cut it in regard to making the playoffs. It's unbelievable.

This is now two straight years the Chargers got bailed out by the Chiefs to make it in.

I haven't made my Picks yet.

Lions vs Packers (Homer pick, winner takes NFC North)
Bills vs Patriots (They will probably bench their starters by halftime)
Bengals vs Steelers (Winner takes AFC North)
Cardinals vs 49ers (Good thing Arizona already clinched, they have been a trash can)
Rams vs Seahawks (Looks like Super Bowl is going to have to go through Seattle... again)
Chargers vs Chiefs (Originally had the Chiefs, until the Smith report. Chargers win, they're in)
Browns vs Ravens (If BAL wins and SD loses, they're in)
Cowboys vs Redskins (They will also probably rest starters)
Raiders vs Broncos (Even though Manning is showing his age, it's the Raiders)
Eagles vs Giants (Who cares)
Panthers vs Falcons (Winner takes NFC Shits)
Colts vs Titans (Tennessee is so bad )
Jets vs Dolphins (Who cares)
Jaguars vs Texans (If HOU wins & SD & BAL loses, they're in)
Bears vs Vikings (Who cares)
Saints vs Buccaneers (Toilet Bowl, Bucs lock up #1 pick)

Wow, the Chargers got a really lucky break with Alex Smith going down. Although I wouldn't take that for granted either. The Chiefs are a tough team at home and Jamal Charles is still in the game an he will run the ball all over the Chargers. It's not looking good for my Ravens right now either. Although it is our fault for not winning that game against the Chargers after having a big lead in the 4th quarter.

At this point, I really hope we lose to the Browns just to get a higher draft pick. We are not ready for the playoffs anyways.

Cowboys are definitely not going to rest their starters. They are 11-4 right now and still have a chance at a first round bye. They own a tiebreaker over Seattle (11-4), and they also share the same record as Lions and Packers (11-4). They will not get the #1 seed due to the Lions and Packers owning a tiebreaker over them, but they can still get the #2 seed if they win since they own the tiebreaker over Seattle. Cardinals can also still get a first round bye too if Seattle loses and they win (a longshot for them though...).

Speaking of Cardinals, I'm hearing that Stanton might be put on IR as well, ending his season. 

If Seattle gets homefield, it will be like two byes. They get the first round one, and then they will get Arizona/Atlanta/Carolina.   They might as well walk to the NFC Championship against either Green Bay or Dallas.

I think Carolina is better than their record says. Their defense has played  better lately, and they are little more healthy than earlier than the season too. They also played a pretty tough schedule this season too (AFC North and NFC North). And they were close to beating Seattle too even though that game was at home. They are definitely better than a 6-8-1 team, and I wouldn't say they will be easy for Seattle. But if Seattle does get a first round bye, I will definitely say they will be the NFC Championship favorites.

And congrats to TSM's Bills for having a winning season. I know it's not the playoffs, but still, 9-7 for a team like this is promising if you ask me.

Rodgers hurt his calf that he suffered in Tampa. Looks worse as he had to get carted off. Return questionable. 

Another lucky break for Detroit, and possible Seattle. Just going to make that bye really important.

PACKERS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!                


Even though Rodgers got hurt early, he only missed 2 possessions and came back and pulled off the big victory. Now we get the 2 seed and the Bye!


Chargers really laid an egg!  Losing to KC with a backup.

What happened to the Falcons. They didn't even show up against Carolina. The Panthers ran right through them. Mike Smith deserves to be fired.
