The number of required rooms, guard placement, and the choice of frontrunner set this run up for disaster. The frontrunner was in the temple for almost the whole run, leaving 36 seconds for the secondrunner to make any progress. The guard placement was something evil. It seems like something that the S1 producers would do. Also, the elevator wasn't in the Mienshaft, so the team would have needed to go up to the Shrine from there. Fun.

I swear more than half of the episodes I've done have been Purple Parrots ones. I've yet to see a victory. This team was pretty good, but got a brutal layout. Even though I changed certain rooms so that they take less time to complete than the formula states, such as the Dark Forest and Mineshaft, this team still couldn't make it out of the temple

Your episode reminds me of the "Missing Eye" layout minus the Swamp guard and the cryptic half-pendant location. Your team wasn't victorious though because it looked like the girl was pretty stupid. And if the real "Missing Eye" team had this layout, they could've won too! We needed more Blue/Orange also.   

I don't understand TSM's half-pendant location though. Secret Password-Quicksand Bog actuator? You mean the inactive actuator next to the Secret Password door to the Quicksand Bog? Looks exactly like Metal Beard or even Poseidon's layout though. Layouts like these should've been a failed escape at worst.

Yeah, the girl was pretty dumb. She's the real reason the team lost. And this layout is a lot like Missing Eye, and also Belle Boyd, given the artifact location. I think the third temple guard ended up being in the Crypt, but I don't quite remember. It would make sense though, given the half pendant location. I definitely see the Missing Eye team winning a layout like this. Since they were a pretty strong team despite their outcome in their actual temple run. And yeah, we really do need more Blue/Orange temple game pairs. Fortunately, it's a very common match up with the episodes I've made in this thread.
