I have a new idea for a Legends trivia based game.
You think of a Legends episode and then give 3 clues about that episode, then everybody else tries to guess the episode. If people are stumped, give another clue. Repeat until someone guesses correctly and then it's his/her turn. If you guess incorrectly, you must wait until another clue is given to guess again.
For example, if I say:
The winning team finished 4th in the Moat
The temple games ended in a 1-pendant tie
In the temple, the frontrunner had trouble completing the Jesters' Court
The answer would be The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen
Any questions?
I'll start with this:
The Green Monkeys and Orange Iguanas lost in the Steps of Knowledge
All three temple guards were encountered
The artifact was in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey
-
That's a tough one... Was it "The Lost Lion Tail of Little John"?
-
Sorry, that only fits two of the criteria. :(
-
The Missing Eye of David.
-
THAT IS CORRECT!
Your turn PPF
-
Yeah, for the first one, this is tough. Is it "The Missing Eye of David"? I remember this being a triple guard capture and the Eye was in the Shrine, but I don't remember who lost in the Steps.
-
Damn. Through thinking, I got beat to it. :(
-
THAT IS CORRECT!
Your turn PPF
Okay, let me think of one.
-
Okay, here's one:
The Oranges Iguanas and the Purple Parrots lost at the moat.
The winning team won the temple games 1.5-1.
This team ran into all three temple guards.
-
So, either the team was captured or they found the half pendant. That helps narrow it down.
Is it The Treasure of Anne Bonny?
-
No, this team was caught by all three temple guards, no half pendant. The Treasure of Anne Bonny is incorrect.
-
Henry VIII's Great Seal
-
Correct! Now it's TSM's turn!
-
OK, here's mine.
1. Temple games were Purple\Orange
2. Temple games ended in a 1.5-pendant tie
3. The team was able to make it to the artifact
-
The Levitating Dog Leash of Nostradamus.
-
That was an easy one. I just didn't get there quick enough. :?
-
The Levitating Dog Leash of Nostradamus.
Well, that didn't take long.
-
Should I go again? Or give someone else a try.
-
I guess I'll go again:
It was Red vs. Green in the temple games.
The Green Monkeys shut the Red Jaguars out and went to the temple.
The team grabbed the artifact and won with less than 5 seconds left.
-
Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress
-
That is correct! Your turn!
-
Here it is:
The team that won came first in the Moat and first in the Steps of Knowledge
One of the temple games was a memory game
The winning team was captured in the temple
-
Wow, another tough one. A guess: "The Golden Spiderweb of Robert the Bruce".
-
Not quite. :(
-
Great, I manage to get a turn in, and it's wrong. Just great.
-
The Useless Map of the Chibcha Chieftain.
-
THAT IS CORRECT!
Your turn PPF
-
Great, I manage to get a turn in, and it's wrong. Just great.
It's not like you're the only one. :P
-
Here's my next one:
The Green Monkeys won the temple games 1.5-1.
This team scaled the entire central shaft.
Aside from one wrong turn, this team still achieved a victory.
-
The Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain
Too easy
-
I knew I shouldn't have included the "one wrong turn" bit.
Correct, your turn.
-
Here's the next one.
The winning team was 4th in the Moat and 2nd in the Steps of Knowledge
The Red Jaguars lost the temple games with 1 pendant
The artifact was grabbed but not retrieved
-
I'm going to guess "The Bone Necklace of the Blackfeet Chief."
-
That would be correct.
Your turn.
-
All right:
1. The end of the Temple Games is a real point of contention.
2. The only Temple Guard that appeared was encountered in a new room.
3. Not that it should've been encountered at all.
-
The Silver Horseshoe of Butch Cassidy
1.) Everybody thinks that Paula shouldn't have won the final temple game because she fell off the horse at the last second.
2.) She was the first contestant to encounter a temple [spirit[ in the Dark Forest.
3.) The temple spirit should've never caught her because she was not trying to reach into the tree.
-
Alright, so who's gonna go next?
-
TRJ, considering he got that one (even though Paula did NOT fall off the horse, FYI, but it was still debated enough that #1 applies). :P
-
Whatever, I still don't like the episode. Quit rubbing it in. :P
TRJ, go whenever you're ready.
-
Oh, no, I just had to make it clear that not everyone thought she fell off the horse as RJF said. I never said I liked the episode either. :P
-
1. Blue-Red win Steps of Knowledge
2. 2 pendants in the temple games
3. Completed a room objective when door was already unlocked during temple run.
-
The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu
-
The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu
Correct!
-
OK.
1. Orange and Red were eliminated at the moat
2. The team that went to the temple had two pendants
3. The frontrunner was taken out one room away from the artifact
-
The Leopard-Skin Cloak of Annie Oakley?
-
The Leopard-Skin Cloak of Annie Oakley?
That's the one!
-
See, I know my Purple Parrots too. Well, not all the time. :P
Here's one:
-In this episode, the Purple Parrots finished 1st in the Moat, but lost in the Steps.
-The team that entered the temple lost the first temple game, but won the last two.
-This team encountered all 3 temple guards, but the second runner saved the run by finding the other half pendant.
What episode is this?
-
I believe it is the ever-so forgettable The Cracked Crown of the Spanish King
-
I believe it is the ever-so forgettable The Cracked Crown of the Spanish King
And that would be correct. :)
-
Here's the next one.
The first and second teams in the Moat were also first and second in the Steps of Knowledge
The Blue Barracudas lost the temple games by 1/2 a pendant
The second runner entered the temple with a minute remaining (and I mean close to exactly a minute)
-
The Bullet Riddled Handbag of Belle Boyd
-
Good job. :D
-
My turn:
The Purple Parrots lost the tie breaker.
The artifact was in the Chamber of the Sacred Markers.
Both players had significant trouble in certain rooms. (The frontrunner at the beginning of the run, and the second runner at the end of the run).
-
Is it The Marble Armrest of Xerxes?
-
The Marble Armrest of Xerxes
AKA I can't climb the Pharaoh's slide to save my life.
-
Yes, you are both correct. Either one of you can go next.
-
TRJ can go next. I've had a lot of turns.
-
1.) A legend about a woman who could steal any man's heart.
2.) A temple game interview with a girl who can do a horse impression.
3.) So close yet so far in the temple run.
-
Pecos Bills Lost Lariat
-
I'm not sure. Is it The Golden Chains of Zenobia?
-
I don't think Pecos Bill could steal any man's heart.
Not the Golden Chains of Zenobia.
You can guess again though.
-
The Codebook of Mata Hari
Also, I always thought that the horse impersonation WAS from Pecos Bill?
-
Fail on my part. I got the Codebook of Mata Hari and Pecos Bill's Lost Lariat mixed up for the temple games.
Since Pecos Bill's Lost Lariat fits 2/3 of the criteria, I will give it to PPF. ;)
-
Okay, here it goes:
The Orange Iguanas won only the team game.
The artifact was in the center of the room.
The artifact was grabbed at the last second.
-
The Golden Earring of Henry Morgan
-
The Golden Earring of Henry Morgan
-
You both got it. Either one of you can go next.
-
I'll let SilverSnake go, but from now on, let's give it to the person who gets it first.
-
Okay here's my question:
Red Jaguar run
Second runner did not know where she was going
Second runner made it to the room at the last second, but did not reach artifact
-
The Missing Weathermaps of Charles Lindbergh
-
The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh
Damn, PPF beat me to it.
-
Good job PPF! PPF's turn
-
Here I go again:
The Purple Parrots lose at the moat.
The Blue Barracudas win the temple games 2-0.5.
The frontrunner took one wrong turn during the temple run.
-
The Mask of the Man in the Iron Mask
-
The Belly Button of Buddha
-
PP319 got it. It was the Belly Button of Buddha.
-
Ok, here's another one:
-The losing teams in the SoK got shut out.
-The Green Monkeys made it to the temple.
-There was a temple guard in the top and bottom rooms of the central shaft.
-
Ponce de Leon and the Lost Fountain of youth
-
Very good! That is correct. And I also must say that the temple run in this episode was quite brutal. Over the Heart Room with a temple guard, then under the Heart Room with a temple guard. It's obvious the third guard was in the Cave. If the front runner started there, the second runner might have gotten to the water bottle. Bad luck I guess.
-

It's obvious the third guard was in the Cave. If the front runner started there, the second runner might have gotten to the water bottle. Bad luck I guess.
Yeah that is true, but James should have taken the Tomb/Shrine passage. And what on Earth was Jessica doing going back and forth in the temple?
-
I'm guessing she was curious to see if the door to the heart room was open. Btw, James' reaction to the temple guard was priceless!
Anyway since I got the previous question right, it's my turn:
Green Monkey Run
Frontrunner made one wrong turn
One of the famous runs in Legends history
-
The Broken Wing of Icarus
-
RIGHT :D
-
And I somehow still have that temple run sketched into my brain.
Next:
-Red and Blue lost in the Moat.
-Purple and Silver lost in the SoK.
-Temple run was a close loss.
-
The Discarded Seal of Ivan the Terrible
-
THK is correct again.
-
The next one:
The Green Monkeys and Silver Snakes lost in the Steps of Knowledge
The artifact was in the King's Storeroom
The winning team won 1 1/2 pendants in the temple games
-
The Two Cornered Hat of Napolean
-
Correct.
Your turn.
-
Someone else can go. I don't have an idea at the moment.
-
On second thought, I've thought of something:
The moat is known for being really long.
The Blue Barracudas swept the temple games.
The second player has significant trouble in one room.
-
Is it The Stone Head of the Evil King?
-
THK beat me to it.
-
THK is correct. Your turn now.
-
Next one.
The first and second teams in the Moat lost in the Steps of Knowledge
The Green Monkeys were shutout in the Temple Games
In the temple, time ran out in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey
-
The Upside-Down Compass of Henry Hudson
-
Correctamundo!
Your turn
-
All righty then!
1. The temple games ended in a tie
2. The frontrunner was taken out one room away from the artifact
3. The temple run is somewhat infamous for a production error
-
The War Fan of the Forty-seven Ronin?
-
The War Fan of the Forty-seven Ronin?
THAT IS CORRECT!
-
I'll pass my turn onto someone else. I'm too tired and I'm about to go to bed.
-
To keep this thread moving, I'll go:
It was Red vs. Orange in the temple games.
This episode took place towards the end of the season.
This temple run features the closest someone came to an artifact without reaching it.
-
The Dragon Lady and the Blue Pearl, of course.
-
That is correct. It is your turn now.
-
1. Orange and Purple were eliminated at the Steps
2. The team was captured by all three guards
3. The run is most remembered for its' ending
-
The Pendant of Kamehameha
-
Yep
-
I thought it was Henry VIII's Great Seal. Guess I was wrong.
-
I thought it was Henry VIII's Great Seal. Guess I was wrong.
Orange and Purple lost at the moat, not steps of knowledge in Great Seal.
Anyways, here's my next question:
The Green Monkeys and Purple Parrots were 1 and 2 in the moat.
The frontrunner only lasted 3 rooms.
The second runner made one of the biggest mistakes in the shows history.
-
Sounds to me like The Treasure of Anne Bonny.
-
Nope, I'm wrong.
-
Didn't the frontrunner in Anne Bonny last for four rooms actually?
Is it the Golden Pepperoni of Catharine de' Medici?
-
Yeah, I forgot that "Fred" went to the Room of the Royal Gongs first, but then had to go down.
-
Didn't the frontrunner in Anne Bonny last for four rooms actually?
Is it the Golden Pepperoni of Catharine de' Medici?
Yup, that is correct. The Red Jaguars went against the Green Monkeys in the temple games. And "Fred" lasted 4 rooms, not 3 rooms. TRJ, it's your turn now.
-
1.) 2 pendants in the temple games.
2.) A "mercy" temple guard that was sent out to halt this pathetic attempt.
3.) The second runner who could not climb for his life.
-
John Henry's Lost Hammer
-
John Henry's Lost Hammer
Correct
-
My turn:
It was Red vs. Silver in the temple games.
The Red Jaguars won the temple games 2-1.5.
The frontrunner had trouble the whole time in the temple.
-
If I know why own team correct, it was Blackbeard's Treasure Map.
-
Yes, you are correct. Your turn.
-
1.) Sit on a Throne
2.) Push two actuators
3.) Result: A win
-
"       "
-
"       "
That is correct!
-
New one:
-One of the later runs during a certain season.
-The run featured one wrong turn.
-The item falls under the "Food and Drink" category.
-
"Food and Drink" comes from Wheel of Fortune.
-
The Dried Ear of Corn of Sojourner Truth?
-
I think I should've cleared something up first. A word in the title falls under "Food and Drink", not the entire item. Dried Ear of Corn is wrong, but I'll let you guess again right now if you want since I just cleared up some possible confusion.
-
The Milk Bucket of Freydis
-
THK is correct. Your turn.
-
Here's the next one.
The Purple Parrots and Silver Snakes lost at the Moat
The Green Monkeys lost the temple games with 1 1/2 pendants
The winning team failed to grab the artifact, but came very close
-
The Pearl Necklace of Gwalior
-
Correct
Your turn
-
Ok, here it goes:
-Purple and Silver also lost in the Moat in this episode.
-Winning team won two pendants.
-Run ended in the Shrine because of the second runner's clumsiness in this room.
-
The Jeweled Necklace of Montezuma
-
Correct. TRJ's turn.
-
And that girl was on her way to that necklace until the Shrine held her up. If she hadn't dropped the belly, she would've been close to grabbing it.
-
1.) Press three Gongs
2.) Sit on a Throne
3.) Push three actuators
4.) Result: A win
Fixed!
-
Anyone gonna still play this? I believe it is TRJ's turn as of now.
-
Just to keep the game going...
1. The artifact was located in the "center of the temple"
2. The Orange Iguanas lost the temple games
3. The artifact was grabbed at the last second
-
The Golden Earring of Henry Morgan
-
Correct!
-
Here's the next one:
The Red Jaguars and Silver Snakes were 1st and 2nd in the Moat, but lost at the Steps of Knowledge
The temple games ended in a 1 1/2 pendant tie.
The second runner ran out of time while retracing his partner's path.
-
I'm answering based on the last clue. The first episode that comes to mind is The Bent Shaving Pan of Jedidiah Smith. I'm probably wrong though.
-
I'm answering based on the last clue. The first episode that comes to mind is The Bent Shaving Pan of Jedidiah Smith. I'm probably wrong though.
No, that's right. Good job considering you based it off of one clue. ;)
Your turn.
-
Holy balls, awesome! :D
I seriously don't remember any episodes where Red and Silver finished 1-2 in the Moat and then both lost at the SoK. I also don't remember any temple games where a 1 1/2 tie occurred, so I had to use the last clue. Seriously, Jedidiah was the first episode that came to mind because I have the picture of Irish getting caught in the Room of the Ancient Warriors stuck in my head. Thanks TAW. ;)
-
Holy balls, awesome! :D
... not the exclamation I would have gone with, but okay.
-
Ok, here's a new one:
-Orange and Purple lost in the Moat.
-Winning team in the temple games won two pendants without tying in any games.
-This run ended in the room directly below the Shrine of the Silver Monkey (I'm not telling you if it's the Tomb of the Ancient Kings or the Dark Forest :P ).
-
Holy balls, awesome! :D
... not the exclamation I would have gone with, but okay.
Sorry, it's a quote from one of my favorite videos from one of my favorite YouTuber's.
-
Right now I have two guesses, but I'm only allowed to say one of them.
Is it The Ivory Elephant of Scheherazade?
-
Right now I have two guesses, but I'm only allowed to say one of them.
Is it The Ivory Elephant of Scheherazade?
That's the right one. Your turn.
-
Here's the next one:
The Red Jaguars and Purple Parrots got none correct in the Steps of Knowledge.
The Green Monkeys beat the Silver Snakes in the Temple Games.
Two very basic facts about this run cannot be said about any other Green Monkey run.
-
The Broken Wing of Icarus
-
That's correct. The last clue refers to the fact that it was a 1-pendant run and the artifact was in the Shrine.
-
Yeah, that's how I figured it out.
The Silver Snakes won the temple games 1.5-0.5.
The temple run ended in a capture in one of the quickest times ever.
The artifact location is questionable. (Meaning, it appears in different rooms throughout the episode).
-
The Secret Battle Plan of Nathan Hale
-
Correct! Your turn.
-
Ok, here we go:
-Purple lost in the Moat, while Silver got 1st.
-However, Silver lost in the SoK.
-This episode's temple run ended in the stupidest way possible.
-
Just a random guess but is it "The Walking Stick of Harriet Tubman"?
That is the only run that comes to mind where it ended in the stupidest way possible.
-
Correct! Just what was that girl thinking anyway?
Anyway, your turn TRJ.
-
Hey, imagine if there was a temple guard in the Room of the Three Gargoyles when Tina ran into it in "the Pendant of Kamehameha"? That would totally blow the Harriet Tubman Crypt capture out of the water.
1.) Blue and Orange were eliminated in the moat.
2.) Purple Parrots, Red Jaguars, and Green Monkeys got two answers correct each, but only two of them progress to the temple games.
3.) A temple loss that ended similar to others with a triple seizure but the ending was a one of a kind.
-
That last one is a little ambiguous IMO, but my best guess is The Applewood Amulet of Emiliano Zapata.
-
The Milk Bucket of Freydis?
-
Neither answer is correct. But I agree with the last line having multiple meanings, so I revised it a little bit.
Also, both of you can guess again since it was too vague.
-
Okay, because The Applewood Amulet, I discovered, actually did fit all those criteria, except the last one was too ambiguous.
Is it The Crown of Queen Nzinga?
-
Correct, that was the one I was looking for.
-
I'll post the new one in the morning.
-
So THK, have you thought of one yet?
-
Oh, I completely forgot about that. Sorry. :(
Here it is:
The Red Jaguars and Silver Snakes lost at the Steps of Knowledge
The third temple game was untimed
The team was forced up the central shaft in the temple
-
The Plumed Headdress of Cosa Rara
-
That is correct. Your turn.
-
Alright, just let me think of one.
-
Alright, here's one:
The Red Jaguars and the Silver Snakes lose the Steps of Knowledge.
The Orange Iguanas sweep the temple games.
The second runner makes several wrong turns during the temple run.
-
Wild Bill Hickok and the Dead Man's Hand?
-
Nope. Try again.
-
The Thornwood Gavel of Judge Roy Bean?
-
Correct! TSM's turn.
-
1. The Orange Iguanas lost the temple games
2. A few wrong turns on the second runner's part cost the team form reaching the artifact
3. The team came the closest to getting the artifact from the room it was hidden in
-
The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh. Stupid Kim, I wanted to see someone get the item from the Dark Forest at least once, but it never happened. :(
-
How did I not get that one? Embarrassing.
-
The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh. Stupid Kim, I wanted to see someone get the item from the Dark Forest at least once, but it never happened. :(
Yeppers. Your turn.
-
Next:
-The Moat game involved rope swinging.
-The temple run saw the half-pendant being acquired.
-This was the only episode where a certain room held an item.
-
The Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl
-
The Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl
Correct. The Portrait was in the Laser Light Room, the only time an item appeared in that room.
-
Here's the next one:
The Silver Snakes were fourth in the Moat and second in the Steps of Knowledge
The winning team found the half-pendant in the temple
Time ran out while assembling the Silver Monkey
-
The Stolen Arm of Shiva
-
Nope.
-
The Melted Head of Madame Tussaud?
-
Nope, they didn't find the half-pendant in that one.
-
Alexander and the Gordian Knot
-
TSM is correct. Your turn.
-
Wow, TSM seems to remember all the facts about all the forgettable episodes like they're nothing.
-
OK, here's the next one:
1. The teams the finished first and second in the Moat lost at the Steps.
2. The Red Jaguars lost the Temple Games in a tiebreaker.
3. The frontrunner was taken out in the room directly below the room of the artifact.
-
This sounds like The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen.
-
Another tough one. After thinking about it, is it The Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen?
-
This sounds like The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen.
That is correct!
-
Here's the next one:
The Orange Iguanas and Silver Snakes tied for first at the Moat but only one of them passed the Steps of Knowledge
The losing team in the Temple Games won 1 1/2 pendants
The second runner grabbed the artifact with less than 30 seconds left
-
The Mush Pot Hat of Johnny Appleseed
-
That is correct.
-
Sorry to rush things along, but do you still want to go next, TSM?
-
I'll pass.
-
Alright, I'll go next:
The Red Jaguars beat The Green Monkeys in the temple games.
The frontrunner only lasted four rooms.
The second runner takes a horrible route out of the temple.
-
The Treasure of Anne Bonny?
-
Correct! Your turn, PP319.
-
New one:
-The team that went to the temple finish 1st in the Moat, 1st in the SoK, and won 2 pendants in the temple games.
-First temple game involved water.
-The second temple runner looked completely clueless in a certain room.
-
Ponce de' Leon and the Lost Fountain of Youth?
-
Ponce de' Leon and the Lost Fountain of Youth?
Sorry, but that's wrong. :(
-
The Oracle Bowl of Delphi
-
The Oracle Bowl of Delphi
She knows her PPs very well indeed. ;)
Your turn.
-
No kidding. ;)
Next:
This is the first time the Blue Barracudas even ADVANCE from the steps in this season.
The frontrunner meets her first temple guard at 2:00.
The second runner struggles immensely in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey.
-
The Mysterious Manuscript of Mary Shelley?
-
Correct! Now it's your turn.
-
-The team that entered the temple finished 4th in the Moat.
-They also only won one pendant in the temple games.
-Both players kind of struggled to escape a certain room (same room) in the central shaft.
-
The War Fan of the 47 Ronin?
-
The War Fan of the 47 Ronin?
That's not the one I'm looking for, although that episode does fit all the criteria. I'll let you take another free guess (unless someone beats you to it) to see if you can find the one I'm looking for.
-
Yeah, cause I was thinking about how in the Tomb of the Headless Kings, Jeremy couldn't find the skull and how the door re-locked on Elise.
I think it's The Collar of Davy Crockett, the room in question being The Room of Fallen Columns.
-
Yeah, cause I was thinking about how in the Tomb of the Headless Kings, Jeremy couldn't find the skull and how the door re-locked on Elise.
I think it's The Collar of Davy Crockett, the room in question being The Room of Fallen Columns.
You're right. Now it's your turn.
-
Redemption! :)
Here's the next one:
The two teams who advanced to the Temple Games were 3rd and 4th in the Moat.
The only Temple Game that wasn't a tie was the third game.
The winning team came very close to reaching the artifact.
-
The Imperial Purple Robe of Empress Theodora
-
That's correct.
-
Next one is this:
The Green Monkeys and the Purple Parrots lose at the moat.
One of the temple games it the plugging holes/squirting game.
The second runner spends most of the run going up and down the central shaft.
-
The Golden Stallion of Ali Baba is the only one that comes to mind.
-
Correct! TRJ, your turn now.
-
Green and Purple were eliminated in the moat
The winning team that made it to the temple won 1.5 pendants
Kirk thought both of these players were slow and should hurry it up.
-
The Stolen Arm of Shiva (And those kids WERE slow ).
-
Correct!
-
The Orange Iguanas shut out the Purple Parrots in the temple games.
The frontrunner runs into a temple guard in the first room.
The second runner has significant problems in the Dark Forest.
-
The first that comes to mind is The Bonnet of Dolley Madison.
-
Correct! THK's turn.
-
Here's the next one:
Both teams that passed the Steps of Knowledge rang in at the Moat at more-or-less the same time.
This episode featured a brand new temple game.
The winning team achieved a solo victory.
-
The Lucky Pillow of Annie Taylor?
-
Nope.
-
The Very Tall Turban of Ahmed Baba
-
Still no.
-
The Star of Sultan Saladin?
-
Still no. You guys are stumped, so it's time for another hint.
The Purple Parrots lost the Temple Games with half a pendant.
Everyone is back in now.
-
The Lion-Headed Bracelet of Chandragupta?
-
Still no.
-
The Much Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain
-
The Much Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain
That is correct! Your turn, PPF.
-
Okay:
The Silver Snakes come from behind in the third temple game.
Both players traverse up the whole central shaft.
Kirk didn't declare a victory until he actually laid hands on the artifact.
-
The Collar of Davy Crockett
-
The Snake Bracelet of Cleopatra
-
THK got it. It was The Collar of Davy Crockett. The Silver Snakes from the Snake Bracelet of Cleopatra won 1.5 pendant, not 1 pendant. THK's turn.
-
Here's the next one:
The Green Monkeys and Silver Snakes lost at the Steps of Knowledge
The Purple Parrots were shutout in the Temple Games
The artifact was in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey
-
The Diary of Dr. Livingstone
-
That's correct. Your turn.
-
Blue and Silver fail the moat
A tiebreaker question that contained a word of the episode title as the answer
The slide was this teams biggest Kryptonite during the temple run
-
The Marble Armrest of Xerxes
-
Correct!
I guess that will be it for me tonight until the next day.
-
In that case, I'll wait until tomorrow to post the new one.

BENZIBAB!
-
CORRECT!!!!!!!!!

-The Purple Parrots lost the Temple Games with 1 pendant.
-The team that made it to the temple passed up the half pendant, but didn't need it.
-
The Very Tall Turban of Ahmed Baba
-
Oh crud. Now my hands are tied behind my back because even though that episode fits all the criteria, it's not what I was looking for. What the heck, I'll give it to you. I was thinking The Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain, but that's okay. PPF's turn.
-
Well that's pretty odd. Though I can see how it would be confusing. What with Hornpipe and Ahmed Baba having Green vs. Purple in the temple games, with Green beating Purple 1.5-1. Also, the team passed up the half pendant and still did not need it.
Next:
The SOK was a double sweep.
The Silver Snakes lost the temple games with 1 pendant.
The frontrunner ran into a temple guard in the Room of the Ancient Warriors.
-

1. The artifact was on the bottom floor of the temple
2. The Silver Snakes lost the temple games with only a half pendant
3. The team was one room away from the artifact when time ran out

-
Okay, next up:
-Blue and Purple lost at the moat.
-The Green Monkeys won two pendants.
-The frontrunner was forced down from the upper starting room to the lower starting room, with a temple guard waiting down there.
-
The Dried Apple Half of William Tell

I'll pass.
-
1. Green and Silver were eliminated in the moat
2. The temple games were Blue-Purple
3. The only objective the second runner had to complete in the run was the Shrine before grabbing the artifact
-
King Tut's Cobra Staff?
-
The Golden Jaguar of Atahualpa, an episode you haven't stopped talking about lately.
-
Yup, The Golden Jaguar of Atahualpa is correct. And yes, I guess me talking about it a lot gives it away.
King Tut's Cobra Staff was a very good guess though. But the Orange Iguanas and Green Monkeys were eliminated in the moat for that episode. And David actually completes three rooms (Shrine, Torch Room, and Well) before reaching the staff. But this answer almost fits the question.
-
Well, technically David only completed one "real" objective, but I get what you mean.
-
Yeah, I should've said "completed" one room instead of "objective". I don't think the Well can be classified as an objective after all.
-
Okay, next clue:
Green and Purple were eliminated at the moat.
The third temple game was a very rare game.
The frontrunner ran into a temple guard with about a minute left on the clock.
-
The Bifocal Monocle of One-Eyed Jack?
-
The Belly Button of Buddha
-
Both incorrect.
-
The C-E Battle Flag if William the Conq?
-
Also incorrect. Hint: The second runner still made it into the room with the artifact. But the artifact was still not reached.
-
The Dragon lady and the Blue Pearl?
Is that a reference to the mummy wrapping game?
-
The Dragon lady and the Blue Pearl?

Correct!
1. The SOK pair featured Red-Blue-Orange-Silver.
2. The third temple game is indeed a reference to rarely used mummy wrapping game.
3. Albert was removed from the temple with about a minute to spare.
Your turn, TRJ.
-
S1L8 had some good temple games.
1. Red and Orange were eliminated in the moat
2. Blue and Purple temple games
3. The secondrunner was one of two contestants to complete this room, but they were the only contestant REQUIRED to complete this room.
-
The Diary of Dr. Livingstone?
-
The Diary of Dr. Livingstone?
Correct!
The last clue was a reference to the Viper's Nest, where Brett was the only contestant to required to complete the room objective. Although Ty did it in the Lucky Medallion of Atocha even though he didn't have to.
-
Let's bump this up!
-
1. Red and Orange were eliminated at the moat.
2. Green and Silver were eliminated at the Steps of Knowledge.

-
The Leopard-Skin Cloak of Annie Oakley?

Correct!
I figured a Purple Parrot fan would get this one. :mrred:
-
Next up:
-Purple and Silver lost at the Moat.
-There was a 1 1/2 pendant tiebreaker.
-Something historic happened at the end of the run.
-
The Lost Love Letter of Captain John Smith? :mrred:
-
That's the one. The historic thing that happened was that this was the only run to end in triple guard capture in the Shrine.
-
Following up to that:
~Blue and Silver were eliminated in the Moat.
~There was a shutout victory in the Temple Games 2-0.
~This team came marginally close to reaching an artifact from the Dark Forest.
-
The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh?
-
As Full House says: "You got it, dude!"
The Missing Weather Maps were the only episode where the artifact was almost grabbed in the Dark Forest.
-
Ok here it is:
Blue and Purple eliminated in the Moat
Had Red-Green temple games.
Red Jaguars had something happen to them in the temple that was uncalled for.
-
The Mask of Shaka Zulu
-
PPF beat me to it. I'll try something else then.
Elizabeth I's Golden Ship?
-
PPF got it. I couldn't think of a clue that would get you guys confused with the Ivory Hunting horn of Roland
-
Okay, here's the next hint:
The winning team won the temple games 2-0.5.
The artifact was picked up with 33 seconds to spare.
This was the third episode of its filming day.

-The frontrunner was bad.
-

-
Yep.
1. First Purple Parrots run in Season 1
2. Shane was taken out with 2:05 remaining
3. Jackie ran out of time in the Pirate's Cover
-
Next on the list:
`The artifact was located in the center of the temple
`The team won 2 pendants in the Temple Games
`Approximately eleven room objectives were completed en route to the artifact
-
The Missing Portrait of Hans Holbein?
That's the only one I remember where they would've been forced to go through every single room.
-
Ponce de Leon and the Lost Fountain of Youth?
-
The Ivory Elephant of Scheherezade?
*just posting a different answer just in case the other two are wrong* :mrpurple:
-
The user who's correct is....(drumroll)........TRJ!!! :mrblue: :mrred:
Monica and Brad would've had to complete at least eleven objectives just to reach Medusa's Lair in their Temple Run— similar to James and Jessica from Ponce de Leon and Rachel and Keith from Hans Holbein.
You get the next one!
-
I guess it was a good idea to go for that extra guess. :mrpurple:
Although I do think "The Missing Portrait of Hans Holbein" could fit all that criteria also since they had to enter every room in order to reach the Portrait (and they weren't granted any shortcuts either like the Ivory Elephant kids).
The Lost Fountain of Youth doesn't work though since they started in the Gargoyle Room.
1.) Green-Orange-Purple-Silver in the Steps of Knowledge
2.) Two pendants were won in the temple games.
3.) The secondrunner in this run was the only contestant to complete this room while going in a different direction.

2. Silver Snakes won the tiebreaker against the Red Jaguars
3. The Collar was retrieved with 5 seconds left
-
You about had me there, but then I saw "retrieved" and thought "win". Next:
-Mirror, mirror, on the wall.
-Who is the dumbest of them all?
-Just look for something obvious so that this won't become something stupid for everyone to recall.
-
The Golden Pepperoni of Catherine de Medici?
-
John Henry's Lost Hammer?
-
The Golden Pepperoni of Catherine de Medici?
Nope. Although that does fit all the criteria, it's not what I'm looking for.
-
John Henry's Lost Hammer?
This is correct. I'm referring to Kim not knowing what a button is.
-
The Temple Games ended in a shutout.
The artifact was grabbed.
The center room and the Pit were both entered 3 times during the run.
-
The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea :mrred:
-
I think she got it, but as a backup guess, The Snake Bracelet of Cleopatra?
-
The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea :mrred:
Yep.
1. The Red Jaguars shutout the Green Monkeys in the Temple Games
2. Nate grabbed the Torque with about 14 seconds left
3. Lissy entered the Pit and Chamber, and Nate entered them twice, once going forward, and once on the attempted escape.

~ The Green Monkeys defeated the Blue Barracudas 2-11/2 in the Temple games
~ Leah and Matthew— similar to Brett and Lauren from the Dried Apple Half of William Tell— traversed the central shaft from the King's Storeroom downward
-
I got lucky this time. Okay, next:
-There was a one pendant tiebreaker.
-Two temple guards were encountered, and both of them were on each end of the temple.
-Something unfortunate happened in a certain room.
-
The Pendant of Kamehameha?
-
The Pendant of Kamehameha?
Good guess, but not right. It doesn't exactly fit the second clue.
-
The War Fan of the Forty-Seven Ronin
-
The War Fan of the Forty-Seven Ronin
That is correct. One pendant tiebreaker, temple guards in the Crypt and Password Room, and the Headless Kings door got jammed.
-
Up next:
~ The artifact was located in the Swampy area
~ The team won one and a half pendants in the Temple Games
~ The second runner made this run's ending tremendously hilarious
-
Henry VIII's Great Seal
-
Correct again, PP319!

-
The Bullet-Riddled Handbag of Belle Boyd?
-
Lol this is getting kinda freaky PPF and PP319.
-
PPF got it first.
-
Here's the next clue:
The temple game score was 2-1.5.
The artifact was in the Quicksand Bog.
The frontrunner was removed from the temple with under a minute to go.
-
The Lily-Crested Crown of Clovis I?
-
That is correct.
-
I'll pass, again.

-
The Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain?
-
The Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain?
THAT IS CORRECT!
I aim to make these difficult, so I am fairly pleased that it took you guys a couple of guesses.
-
I remembered the run had a guard in the 4th and 6th rooms, but then I remember having a discussion about the Purple Parrot team from the episode's temple games. I think I said that PP team didn't look good enough to tackle the hard temple layout and that it was a good thing the Green Monkey team went into the temple instead. I wasn't sure about the first clue though.
Anyway, here's a new one:
-Red lost in the temple games.
-All three temple guards were encountered.
-Two unnecessary detours were made by the second runner, but made up for it by taking a useful shortcut later on.
-
Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress
-

-
Oy, another tough one. Going out on a limb here.
The Golden Jaguar of Atahualpa?
Good guess. That's correct.
-

-
The Sacred Ring of Sultan Suleiman?
-
The Sacred Ring of Sultan Suleiman?
Correct. I'm guessing the last clue was the one that gave it away.
-
Wait a second.... TRJ, Green and Purple were NOT eliminated at the moat in John Henry's Lost Hammer. Green was DQ'd, but it was the Blue Barracudas that lost along with them. Remember how Damian and Jennifer were those Barracudas, yet came back to win in the John Sutter episode? The SOK pair in John Henry's Lost Hammer was Red-Orange-Purple-Silver. And yes I know I'm sort of late on this, but still.
-

Oops, I forgot that this was the episode where the Green Monkeys got disqualified. When I looked at nicklegend's site, I didn't read the footnote next to the Purple Parrots. So Green-Blue were the two teams that did not make it past the moat. Thanks for correcting me on that. :mrsilver:

The Mystical Spellbook of the Imperial Wizard
Correct! In this run, Jared traversed through eight rooms before being taken out one room away from the artifact (Room of the Secret Password). Katie had no time to make any additional progress.
Sorry PPF, the Leopard-Skin Cloak of Annie Oakley is VERY close, but it is not the correct answer. Everything fits the criteria for this episode except the last clue. Chandra traveled through a total of 9 rooms, while the frontrunner in this run I am thinking about traveled through 8. A very close answer though. :o
Darn, so much for me "being right this time." And yeah that's true, since Leopard Skin Cloak and Tall Turban always get compared since Chandra and Shane both traveled through 9 rooms.
It was still a good guess nevertheless. I am surprised how much this episode fits the criteria for the Mystical Spellbook. Everything fits except the Purple Parrots in Annie Oakley traveled one extra room.
-
Next:
The Purple Parrots were first in the Moat and Steps, but lost the Temple Games
The Temple Run ended one room away from the artifact
All three Temple Games involved boulders/balls

Also incorrect. Hint: It's not a Season 3 episode.

-
The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh?
-
Both are also incorrect. Here's another hint: it's from the end of Season 1.
-
The Snake Bracelet of Cleopatra?
-
Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress? And if THAT is the correct answer, then the temple games ended 2-0, not 2-0.5.
-
Both are also incorrect. Hint: This temple run featured a trek through the central shaft.
-
The Stolen Arm of Shiva?
-
The Stolen Arm of Shiva?
That's incorrect. However, it's an Orange Iguanas temple run— which is what I'm looking for.
-
The Blue Pearl of the Dragon Lady
-
The Blue Pearl of the Dragon Lady
That's the one!
-
That can't be it. They only entered the Observatory.
-
Yeah, they didn't go through the entire central shaft at all. Plus, the first temple guard was encountered in the team's fourth room, not the fifth room....
-
Yeah, they didn't go through the entire central shaft at all. Plus, the first temple guard was encountered in the team's fourth room, not the fifth room....
Point taken. And the correct answer was the Paintbrush of Leonardo da Vinci.
-
So, do I still get to go even though my final guess was technically wrong?

So, do I still get to go even though my final guess was technically wrong?
Furthest along.
Which means.... ? :|
I guess since your guess was the closes, then you were the furthest along in your answer. :mrorange:
-
Either way, I'll pass. I've got nothing.
-
1. Red and Purple did not make it past the moat
2. 1.5 pendants were won in the temple games
3. The frontrunner encountered both a temple guard in the bottom and center of the central shaft, but did not encounter them consecutively.
-
The Lost Log Books of Magellan
-
The Lost Log Books of Magellan
Correct :mrblue:
-
I guess I will make another one.
1. Purple and Silver did not make it past the moat
2. Two pendants were won in the temple games
3. All three guards were encountered during the temple run, including the last one being encountered one room away from the artifact.
-
The Comet Embroidered Battle Flag episode? And no I don't feel like typing the whole thing out. :P
-
Nobody ever wants to type out "The Comet Embroidered Battle Flag of William the Conqueror"
But that answer is correct!
-
That's because the episode title is too damn long. :P
Next one:
Red-Green-Purple-Silver on the steps.
There were 2 pendants won in the temple games.
This was the second episode of its filming day.
-
The Bone Necklace of the Blackfeet Chief?
-
Incorrect. Bone Necklace was the fourth episode of its filming day.
-
The Lost Love Letter of John Smith?
-
The Imperial Purple Robe of Empress Theodora?

The Imperial Purple Robe of Empress Theodora
Correct
-
Pass
-
I'll go:
It was the last of its filming day.
The winning team won 2 pendants in the temple games.
The artifact was picked up with 1:02 remaining on the clock.
-

2. Two pendants were won in the temple games
3. The silver monkey was completed by a male contestant in this run
-
The Mussel-Shell Armor of Apanuugpak? I know he was hit with arrows, but maybe it's correct.
-
Sorry TPP, but that answer is not correct. Your guess was very good and close though, but in the first clue I mean a literal bullet. ;)
-
It's PP319. ;)
The Bullet Riddled Handbag of Belle Boyd? If that is the answer, the monkey was NOT completed when time ran out.
-
It wasn't even touched.
I'm not sure, but do you mean this artifact saved the figure from execution by gunshot?
-
I believe it's "The Good-Luck Watch of Empress Eugénie."
-
I believe it's "The Good-Luck Watch of Empress Eugénie."
Correct, according to the legend in this episode, Empress Eugenie's watch protected her from a bullet shot, which in turn broke the watch but spared her life.
-
All right then:
- This episode's title does not include the name of the person the legend talks about.
- Two of the Temple Games were tied, but the third could have potentially been a tie as well.
- The Moat crossing was slightly changed for later episodes taped on the same day.
-
It has to be "The Pearl Necklace of Gwalior."
-
That's the one. :)
- The legend was actually talking about Lakshmibai, the Rani of Jhansi.
- The final score was 2-1½, but the one game that wasn't a tie was the Season 3 version of the horse game, where score is kept.
- The Moat involved running across a wobbly bridge here, but the other three teams on the same production day had to crawl across.
You're up, PPF!
-
Awesome! :D
Okay, next one:
There were a total of 8 questions asked during the SOK.
The winning team won the temple games 2-0.5.
The frontrunner only lasted three rooms.

-
What is The Ruby Earring of bin-Zibab?
-
That is correct!
1. There were 8 questions asked during the SOK.
2. The Silver Snakes beat the Green Monkeys 2-0.5 pendants.
3. Annie was removed in the Tomb of the Headless Kings, her third room.
Your turn. :D
-
Pass.
-
I guess I will jump start this topic.
1. Red-Orange-Purple-Silver Steps of Knowledge
2. The winning team won the temple games 2-1
3. During the temple run, the Shrine was not entered at all.
-
The Oracle Bowl of Delphi?
-
The Oracle Bowl of Delphi?
Very close guess, but the Oracle Bowl of Delphi had the Green Monkeys at the Steps though instead of Red Jaguars.
It fits 2/3 of the criteria though, but there is another episode that fits it better. ;)
-
The Golden Stallion of Ali Baba?
-
The Golden Stallion of Ali Baba?
Good guess, but Blue was in the Steps during that episode.
I will give a hint - the frontrunner in this episode encountered guards in the bottom and center of the temple rooms of the central shaft.
-
*Daring Do whispers in my ear*
John Henry's Lost Hammer?
-
*Daring Do whispers in my ear*
John Henry's Lost Hammer?
Correct! :mrsilver:
-
Does this mean I go next? Hmm...lessee
-
Here's my first three:
The team that made the temple run did NOT come first on either the moat or steps
The team found the artifact but ran out of time during the escape
This episode was 'the last'
-
The Treasure of Anne Bonny?
-
The Treasure of Anne Bonny?
Gah! I was hoping someone would be tricked by that. Yes, what I meant by 'the last' was the last episode of Season 1. lol
-
The Treasure of Anne Bonny?
-
You were too late RJ. Silver Monkey got it.
-
You were too late RJ. Silver Monkey got it.
That's a fail by me for not scrolling all the way to the bottom of the page. :x
-
I'll pass.
-
I'll go.
-Purple and Silver lose in the Steps

2. The second runner encountered a guard in a room adjacent to where the frontrunner was taken out
3. One of the earlier rounds featured a rare occurence
-

-
That is correct!
-
Wow, that was kind of a complete guess on my part. :o
1. Blue-Green-Orange-Silver Steps
2. The losing team in the temple won 1.5 pendants, but the temple games DID NOT end in a tiebreaker
3. Only one bottom floor room was entered on the way to the artifact
-
The Mush Pot Hat of Johnny Appleseed?
-
The Mush Pot Hat of Johnny Appleseed?
Correct! :mrorange:
1. Orange-Green went onto the temple games
2. Orange beat Green 2-1.5 in the temple games, which were very close in becoming 2 pendant tiebreakers
3. The Orange Iguanas only entered the Mine Shaft on the way to the Viper's Nest
-
Pass.
-
Since no one's taking it, I'll let Daring give this one:
Daring Do:
- Purple Parrots swept the steps
- The Games ended in a 1.5 pendant tie
- The Temple Run team technically only entered one 2nd floor room
-
The Golden Pepperoni of Catherine De' Medici?
-
Nope. But Daring should rewrite that.
Daring Do: The temple Run team technically only entered one 2nd floor room
-
Dear god, don't tell me it's the Marble Armrest of Xerxes.
-
Dear god, don't tell me it's the Marble Armrest of Xerxes.
It is. The crypt was the only 2nd floor they reached. I don't think the Pharaoh's Passage counted.
-
1. Orange lost the temple games
2. The team didn't enter any rooms on the lower level
3. The frontrunner encountered guards in consecutive rooms
-
The Snake Bracelet of Cleopatra?
-
Correct!
-
Yay! *clops hoofs*
But since I already before u Silver, I'll pass. :mrteal:
-
Well since no one else took it up, then I'll go now.
- Going into the 3rd Temple Game, the teams were tied at a half pendant
- The artifact was collected during the temple run, but time ran out in the escape
- During the Steps, one team had to stomp their marker 3 times on a question before it rang in
-
The Two-Cornered Hat of Napoleon
-
The Two-Cornered Hat of Napoleon
Nope
-
The Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl?
-
The Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl?
Nope. Next incorrect and I'll add a clue
-
Pecos Bill's Lost Lariat
-
The Treasure of Anne Bonny?
-

There it is! I dunno why I always laugh at Colleen pounding that marker trying to get it to work. X3
You're up TRJ
-
1. Red-Blue-Green-Silver Steps combination
2. The temple games ended in a tiebreaker
3. During the temple run, the team entered a total of 9 rooms and one of the unentered rooms was the room to the left of the Shrine
-
The Broken Wing of Icarus?
-
Good guess, but Jason didn't really entered 9 rooms enroute to the artifact ;)
-
I know, but overall, he did enter nine rooms. Maybe I should've looked at the clue again.
And it turns out that that episode didn't have R-B-G-S combo. Purple was in there. :P
-
And we know that Purple almost never makes it past the Steps and Temple Games. :mrpurple:
-
The Electrified Key of Benjamin Franklin?
-
The Electrified Key of Benjamin Franklin?
"AMBASSADOR! AMBASSADOR!"
Correct! :mrblue:
-
Since 24 hours have gone, I'll go next.
- The teams were tied at a half pendant each going into temple game 3
- The temple run team lost with just one room to go...
- ...which was an improvement from the previous episode
-
Henry VIII's Great Seal?
-

The artifact was hidden in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey
-
The Silver Saddle Horn of Hannibal?

The Secret Battle Plan of Nathan Hale?
-
2 out of 3, but nope
-
The Missing Eye of David?
-
The Golden Cup of Belshazzar?

2. The temple games score was 1.5-0.5

-
1. The winning team that went to the temple finished 4th in the moat and first in the Steps
2. Silver and Red was the Steps combination
3. During the temple run, if the team entered the other entrance room, this run would've ended in triple capture.
-
Wow where did this go to? lol
Umm...The Collar of Davy Crockett?
-
The War Fan of the 47 Ronin?
-
Radman got the correct answer - it was "The Collar of Davy Crocket". Reasoning:
- Silver Snakes finished fourth in the moat and first at the Steps
- Silver-Red each won 1 pendant in the temple games, with Silver winning the tiebreaker.
- Had Shannon entered the Room of the Royal Gongs during the temple run, this episode would've ended in triple capture.
"The War Fan of the 47 Ronin" comes VERY close. But it misses a couple of details:
- Silver finished second at the Steps, not first.
- We don't know for sure if the last temple guard was in the Ledges, although it was possible.
-
Lucky guess. haha
- The Silver Snakes did not qualify for the Steps
- The team that ran the temple swept the Temple games
- This episode featured something unique that wasn't done again in Legends
-
The Mask of the Man in the Iron Mask?
-
The Mask of the Man in the Iron Mask?
Nope. I don't remember anything 'unique' about Iron Mask.
You had the first two tho
-
In Iron Mask, Justin slid head first into the Dark Forest wall, avoiding a potential temple spirit. No one else ever did that.
Is the answer The Jeweled Necklace of Montezuma? I don't remember how the Silver Snakes did, but I do know this was the only episode where a "temple spirit" tossed a piece of the Silver Monkey back up into the Shrine.
-

Oh. Well while that was fun to watch, it wasn't what I meant. lol
Gah! That could fit too! But it's not the one I was thinking of. Guess maybe I was too vague...
PP319, I'll give you another guess with a new clue.
- Purple made the steps, but did not answer any correct
-
The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh?
-
The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh?
That's it. Olmec's legend included video footage rather then just pictures.
-
Okay then:
The SOK pair was Blue-Green-Purple-Silver.
The losing team lost the temple games by a 1/2 pendant.
The frontrunner encountered a temple guard in the 3rd and 5th room entered.
-
The Trojan Horseshoe?
-
That is correct!
1. The SOK pair was Blue-Green-Purple-Silver.
2. The Silver Snakes lost to the Green Monkeys by a 1/2 pendant.
3. Lucrieta ran into temple guards in the Heart Room and the Shrine. The 3rd and 5th rooms entered respectively.

-
The Silk Sash of Mulan?
There's a problem with the 3rd clue by the way. Two frontrunners? :?
That one is correct! And I meant secondrunner instead of frontrunner. ;)
-
I'll pass.

-
The Imperial Purple Robe of Empress Theodora?
-
The Imperial Purple Robe of Empress Theodora?

-
That was just a lucky guess.
I'll go this time.
-Red, Blue, Green, and Purple made it to the SoK
-The team that made it to the temple won the temple games 2-0.5 pendants

-
Correct.
-
Oops, better use my turn.
1. Blue-Green-Red-Silver was the color combination at the Steps
2. Both the second and final temple game ended in a tie
3. During the temple run, the frontrunner met a temple guard in the entrance room and the fourth room they entered
-
Please tell me it's not The Golden Cricket Cage of Khan.
-
Henry VIII's Great Seal?
-
Okay, thankfully it isn't. I forgot that Purple made it to the temple games. :P
-
If it is Henry VIII's Great Seal, then it was the first and third game that was a tie. Not the second game. ;)
-
Not Cricket Cage or Henry VIII's Great Seal
Think about the second clue more. If the second and third temple game ended in a tie, then the outcome of the first temple game would be important. ;)
-
I think you might have the steps combo wrong. But as for another guess:
The Mush Pot Hat of Johnny Appleseed?
-
I think you might have the steps combo wrong. But as for another guess:
The Mush Pot Hat of Johnny Appleseed?

The winning team swept the temple games.
The second runner took a slightly different path from their partner.
-
The Thornwood Gavel of Judge Roy Bean?
-
The Upside-Down Compass of Henry Hudson?
-
Both incorrect.
Oh, and there was a typo on my part. There were 9 questions total asked during the steps. Not the 8 that I had originally put down.
-
The Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary?
-
Incorrect. Hint: This was a Season 2 episode.
-
Oh wow, I didn't even know that this question was still unanswered. :o
The Silver Cannonball of Grandy Nanny?
-
Yeah, that's what you guys get for letting this topic get too pushed down. :P
And no, incorrect.
-
Okay, nobody's getting it, so I'm just gonna give away the answer.
It was the Leopard Skin Cloak of Annie Oakley:
1. There were a total of 9 questions asked during the Steps of Knowledge.
2. The Purple Parrots swept the Blue Barracudas in the temple games 2-0.
3. Nick took the shaft/shrine passage, Chandra didn't take any shortcuts. So Nick did indeed take a slightly different path than Chandra did.
Anyone can go.
-
It makes more sense now with the answer revealed. :mrpurple:
Here is a new one:
1. Green-Purple was the temple game combination
2. Two pendants were won in the temple games
3. The frontrunner was taken out in the Shrine with exactly 1:30 on the clock

3. After reaching the artifact, something strange happened.
-
The Golden Pepperoni of Catharine de' Medici

-
I pass (again).
-
I guess I shall go again:
1. The steps combination was Blue-Green-Orange-Silver
2. The temple game score was 1.5-0.5
3. During the temple run, the final two guards were encountered on the top floor, with the last guard being encountered in the room on the far left of the temple (Torch Room/Viper's Nest/Lightning Room/Secret Password) room space.
-
The Lost Log Books of Magellan
-
Correct! :mrblue:
-
Time to revive this thing....
The temple games ended in a tie.
The frontrunner was removed from the temple with 1:25 on the clock.
This marks the only time a team reaches an artifact, but doesn't bring it out.
-

-
That is correct.
-
1. Purple and Green lost at the moat
2. The Silver Snakes lost in the temple games to a tiebreaker

2. The temple game color combination used in this episode was the second consecutive time this color combination occurred said production day.
3. All three temple guards were encountered on the top floor of the temple.
-
The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea.
It took me a while to figure out this one, but then I remember the color combinations thing.
-
Correct, and good job on getting it too! Its not easy now that nicklegends site is down so you can't really get certain combinations without having to watch the episode itself.
PPF's turn now. :mrpurple:
-
I didn't actually watch it, I just remembered how both Royal Torque and Roland had Red vs. Green in the temple games. :P
Here's the next one:
The winning team was first to finish in the moat.
The temple games ended in a tiebreaker.
Six rooms total were entered in the temple run.

1. Steps went Red-Blue-Orange-Silver

You're next!
-

The Mush Pot Hat of Johnny Appleseed
-
The Mush Pot Hat of Johnny Appleseed
Correct! :mrorange:
-
Got one here
1. Steps went Red-Blue-Purple-Silver
2. Kirk called 3 different rooms The Ledge of Size, the Temple of the Ancient Kings, and his famous Center of the Room
3. The Artifact was successfully retrieved from the temple!
-
John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine?
-
Correct!
-
All right!
1. The temple games matchup was the only time it occurred in the entire season.
2. The temple games featured one of the worst Fogg quotes of all time.
3. The team ran out of time one room away from the artifact.
-
The Golden Jaguar of Atahualpa
-
The Golden Jaguar of Atahualpa
The team grabbed the Golden Jaguar, and the match up of Blue versus Purple was also seen in the Lucky Pig of Amelia Earhart.
The Golden Chains of Zenobia featured the Orange Iguanas versus the Purple Parrots in Season One. Time ran out for the Orange Iguanas in the Tomb of the Ancient Kings, while the artifact was in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey. Even though the door didn't open when Justin put the key on the magnet after time ran out, they were still "one room away" from the Shrine of the Silver Monkey.
-
Neither Golden Jaguar nor Golden Chains is correct.
(BTW, Blue/Purple also occurred in S1 in King Tut's Cobra Staff)
-
The Missing Portrait of Hans Holbein?
-
Nope. They didn't run out of time a room away from the artifact.
-
The Smashed Printing Plate of Frederick Douglass? I really have no idea.
-
The Mask of the Man in the Iron Mask?
The "worst Fogg quote" could be a references to "The Key to the game is the key". And Justin did finish one room away from the artifact.
-
I don't think it was that one. Since Blue vs. Green happened a lot in Season 2. But the quote would make sense if that were the answer.
-
It's not Iron Mask.
-
I misread the second clue. I thought it meant the only color combination used once for the entire production day, not for the whole season. No wonder my "Atahualpa" answer was wrong. And yeah, Green/Blue was used quite a bit in season two like "Silk Sash" and "Cosa Rara".
-
The Smashed Printing Plate of Frederick Douglass? I really have no idea.
Just in case you missed this.
Here's another guess in case it's wrong: The Mysterious Manuscript of Mary Shelley?
-
The "Frederick Douglass" team didn't even come close to the artifact. ;)
The Dragon Lady and the Blue Pearl?
-
Mysterious Manuscript is correct!
-
Do we know that the Dark Forest would've really opened from the Shrine for them? I mean I guess they were technically one room away, but it felt too simple for the Dark Forest door to open on the Hans Holbein/William Tell/Ivan the Terrible days of all days...
-
I'll go:
1. Episode was third of its filming day
2. One of the temple games featured the "plugging holes/squirting" game
3. Kirk Foggs up a bit at one point during the temple run
-
Golden Stallion of Ali Baba
-
The Diary of Dr. Livingstone?
-
Golden Stallion of Ali Baba
He got it. It was Golden Stallion.
-
I'll Pass
-
1. Red-Blue-Green-Orange Steps of Knowledge
2. The final pendant count for this episode was also the same pendant count for two other episodes of the same production day
3. The bottom floor of the temple was only entered once in this temple run and that towards the very end of the run
-
Pearl Necklace of Gwalior
-
Correct! :mrblue:
-
This episode's production day saw one team color lose at the Moat three times, while another team color made it to the Steps of Knowledge three times, and a third team color lost in the Temple Games three times.
The first and last episodes of this day featured the same team color in the Temple Run.
This particular was the only episode where the artifact was not at least reached.
-
The Bifocal Monocle of One-Eyed Jack
Purple lost at the moat 3 times (all but Heralded Helmet)
Red lost the temple games 3 times (all but Heralded Helmet)
Orange made it as far as the Steps 3 times (all but War Fan)
The first and last runs of the day (Monocle and Heralded Helmet) both featured Orange.
-
You have identified the episode correctly!
-
1. The moat for this episode set a specific record for Legends episodes
2. This episode features a temple game matchup that was used in another episode on the same production day
3. The second runner in the temple run did not make any additional progress once the frontrunner was taken out
-
The Silver Saddle Horn of Hannibal
-
Damn, you're good. :o I wonder what clue gave it away? Explanations:
1.) Longest recorded moat on the entire show
2.) Red/Green was also used in "Shaka Zulu"
3.) Damien did not make any progress after Vicky was taken out
-
The longest moat and the second runner not making progress.
And I'll pass.
-
1. The artifact is in the Shrine
2. The front runner made a stupid decision to run into the Observatory then run back into the King's Storeroom
3. That same player got stuck in The Ledges and lost by inches (heartbreak)
-
1. The artifact is in the Shrine
2. The front runner made a stupid decision to run into the Observatory then run back into the King's Storeroom
3. That same player got stuck in The Ledges and lost by inches (heartbreak)
Broken Wing of Icarus
-
1. The artifact is in the Shrine
2. The front runner made a stupid decision to run into the Observatory then run back into the King's Storeroom
3. That same player got stuck in The Ledges and lost by inches (heartbreak)
Broken Wing of Icarus
As Olmec would say, That Is Correct.
-
1. This was the third of four times in Season One that the two teams that got eliminated in the Moat of this episode were eliminated together in the Moat.
2. This was the first of two times in Season One that the two teams that got eliminated in the Steps of Knowledge of this episode were eliminated together in the Steps of Knowledge.
3. The artifact for this Season One episode was placed in the room that held the highest percentage of Season One artifacts ("room" meaning the physical room regardless of layout, so for example, the Wall Climb and Pit of Despair would be considered the same room).
-
The Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary
-
The Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary
The first and third criteria are not met.
-
I misread the third clue. I understand it now though.
The Paintbrush of Leonardo Da Vinci?
-
I misread the third clue. I understand it now though.
The Paintbrush of Leonardo Da Vinci?
That episode was the first of two times that the Purple Parrots and Silver Snakes got eliminated together at the Moat, not the third of four times.
That episode was the second of two times that the Red Jaguars and Green Monkeys got eliminated together at the Steps of Knowledge, not the first of two times.
The Tomb of Ancient Kings "space" did not hold the most artifacts for Season One.
-
I hope no one minds if I go.
1. The episode was last of its day
2. The temple games ended in a shut out
3. The artifact in this episode in also seen in different episodes
-

-
No, actually.
-
Oh wait, that episode wasn't actually a shutout.
-
Yeah, Silk Ladder's temple game score was 2-0.5. And what I meant by "artifact seen in different episode," I meant you can see it when Olmec reveals the artifact location of another episode.
-
The Ivory Elephant of Scheherazade
-
That is correct.
-
Since nobody got my last "Name That Episode" and we moved on to a new round, I suppose I'll reveal that the answer to my last one was "The Pendant of Kamehameha."
1. This was the third of four times in Season One that the two teams that got eliminated in the Moat of this episode were eliminated together in the Moat. [The Blue Barracudas and Green Monkeys were eliminated at the Moat. This previously occurred in "John Henry's Lost Hammer" and "Elizabeth I's Golden Ship." It later happened in "The Golden Chains of Zenobia."]
2. This was the first of two times in Season One that the two teams that got eliminated in the Steps of Knowledge of this episode were eliminated together in the Steps of Knowledge. [The Orange Iguanas and Purple Parrots lost in the Steps of Knowledge. The only other time that they got eliminated together in this round in Season One was in "The Silver Saddle Horn of Hannibal."]
3. The artifact for this Season One episode was placed in the room that held the highest percentage of Season One artifacts ("room" meaning the physical room regardless of layout, so for example, the Wall Climb and Pit of Despair would be considered the same room). [The artifact was located in the Swamp/Spider's Lair/Bamboo Forest/Holes of Python space, which held a combined total of 7 artifacts of the 40 episodes in Season One. This space held the most artifacts of the first season, and therefore had the highest percentage, at 17.5%.]
-
I have another one if no one minds:
The temple game pair was the same as the episode before.
The winning team won only the third temple game.
The frontrunner was removed from the temple in just 30 seconds.
-
That stupid Keys to the Alhambra
-
That is stupidly correct. ;)
-
1. Was the same style of the Moat that Ron cheated, but this episode isn't Anne Bonny
2. Red-Green Temple Games
3. 2 Second Victory
-
Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress
-
Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress
AKA... My favorite episode!    Obviously correct!
-
Next one:
The Steps of Knowledge pair was Red-Orange-Purple-Silver.
The temple game score was 2-1.5 pendants.
The second runner did not make any additional progress after the frontrunner was taken out.
-
The Lily-Crested Crown of Clovis I
-
Correct.
-
Next one:
1. This episode was produced third during its production day.
2. The temple game colors for this episode was used with another episode from the same day.
3. During the temple run, the second runner came across a temple guard in a room before where the frontrunner was taken out in.
-
The Thornwood Gavel of Judge Roy Bean
-
That is correct the former DG. ;)
Now that I think about it, was this episode third or fourth in production order? I don't know if "Lion-Slashed Jacket" or "Judge Roy Bean" came third that day.
-
Actually that day went Chandragupta/Sacagawea/Bandit Queen/Judge Roy Bean
-
So it was the last episode that day. I can never remember the order that day except that "Chandragupta" was first. Thanks for clearing that up. ;)
-
Pass.
-
I'll go:
1. The team that was first in the moat and Steps of Knowledge, got shut out in the temple games.
2. The temple game pair is one out of two times the pair occurred this season.
3. The frontrunner ran into two consecutive temple guards.
-
The Mask of the Man in the Iron Mask?
-
Incorrect.
-
Stone Head of the Evil King
-
That is correct.
-
1. Artifact in Dark Forest
2. Dumb attempt at the Silver Monkey
3. Frankenstein
-
The Mysterious Manuscript of Mary Shelley
-
Painfully correct
-
Let's bring this back from the dead:
1.) The temple game combination used in this episode was only used twice during this season, with the other episode being a win.
2.) The frontrunner was forced into a temple guard in one of the entrance rooms.
3.) This episode shares a unique characteristic about it that also occurred in a previous episode.
-
The Trojan Horseshoe?
-
Not The Trojan Horseshoe. But the temple game combination in that episode is the correct combination for the first clue. ;)
-
The Secret Battle Plan of Nathan Hale?
Though Silver/Green occurred three times in S2 (Nathan Hale, Babe, Icarus)
-
There were a ton of Season Three episodes that featured the Green/Silver combination, and as TSM pointed out, there were three Green/Silver combinations in Season Two.
Since it wasn't Trojan Horseshoe, perhaps it was Galileo's Cannonball?
-
Nathan Hale is correct. I made a mistake on the first clue.
There were actually three Green/Silver episodes in S2. I forgot about Icarus.
The second clue refers to the fact that James was forced into encountering the Crypt temple guard.
The last clue refers to the temple layout change just like in Belshazzar.
TSM's turn. ;)
-
1. The temple games matchup in this episode occurred a few other times during this season, but this was the only one of those episodes where the team that went to the temple won the temple games.
2. This episode was the second time in the season in which the winning team searched for an artifact located in the Golden Doors room.
3. The temple run features a unique occurrence.

-
1. The winning team finished third in the moat and second in the Steps of Knowledge.
2. The temple game match up occurred three times in the season, but only this time did the winning team win.
3. The artifact was reached.
-
King Tut's Cobra Staff?
-
The Broken Wing of Icarus?
-

King Tut's Cobra Staff?
Yeah!
-
1. This episode was produced second on its production day.
2. The temple games ended in a sweep.
3. The frontrunner entered the leftmost room of the temple and golden door room, while their partner only entered the leftmost room of the bottom floor of the temple.

Yes, I am sure one of the forms of punishments during the Tokugawa Shogunate was no TV for two weeks.

Anyways, next episode:
1. The artifact was located on the bottom floor
2. The Red Jaguars lost just the team game
3. The team finished one room away from the artifact

3. Win prevented
-
The Golden Earring of Henry Morgan
-
Great, found out that other episodes go along with the hints

Was the Henry Morgan tiebreaker really a fail? I don't recall anything bad about it.
I think the answer is "The Electrified Key of Benjamin Franklin"
1.) The Electrified Key was located in the central shaft.
2.) AMBASSADOR AMBASSADOR!
3.) Peter blew chances at a solo victory
-
Or possibly "The Marble Armrest of Xerxes", because the answer to the tiebreaker question was in the name of the damn episode!

-
1. The episode was third on its production day.

1. The Cannonball was located in the Mine Shaft.

Pirate Captain comes very close, but Jarrid and Jessica won second in the Steps. Although they were still an equally dominant team.

2. The temple game pair was Green vs. Silver.
3. The first temple guard encounter occurred in the fourth room entered.
-
The Lion Headed Bracelet of Chandragupta?
-
That is correct!
-
*Bump*
Here's one that I know for sure will have only one correct answer.
1. The temple game pair in this episode was the last time that combination was ever used.
2. The winning team won only their third temple game.
3. The team in this temple run ran into two consecutive temple guards.
-
The Electrified Key of Benjamin Franklin
-
Wrong. First of all, Blue vs. Green happened A LOT on the show, and that's not the pair I'm talking about here. Second of all, Peter and Michelle WON their individual games. We've been over that numerous times. Your answer is incorrect.
-
I am not sure of the answer then. These are the temple teams who won their third temple game only:
- Alhambra (Red/Silver was used many times)
- Atahualpa (Blue/Purple was used many times)
- Davy Crockett (see Alhambra)
- Butch Cassidy (Purple/Orange was used many times)
- Annie Taylor (Blue/Purple was used again in Annie Oakley)
- Egyptian Queen (Green/Purple was used again later in Lost Taj Mahal Turban)
Unless I am misreading the second clue wrong. :?:
-
Hint: The first two temple games were a tie. Hence the winning team technically won only the third game.
-
The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu?
-
Also wrong. The Red Sash kids won the temple games 2-0.5. This temple game score in the episode I chose was 2-1. And this temple game pair was absent for a whole season. Hence the "this combination was never used again" bit.
-
The Shriveled Hand of Efoua! :mrorange: :mrblue:
That shouldn't have been too hard for me considering how rare Orange-Blue was on the show. :P
-
There you go, THAT is correct! :mrblue: :mrorange:
1. Blue vs. Orange was used for the last time in Efoua.
2. Janelle and Bobby tied their first two temple games, but won the third.
3. Janelle ran into two consecutive temple guards in the Observatory and Medusa's Lair.
Not to mention, Efoua is easily one of the most forgettable episodes ever, like most Orange Iguana episodes are. I don't even remember if it's been reviewed in the episode ranking thread yet. :P
-
Yeah, I almost forgot a second that I completed Efoua too until I remembered I completed it for Halloween.
1. Red-Blue-Purple-Silver Steps
2. This episode featured the fourth time that this team made it to the temple games that day.
3. This team met a temple guard in the entrance room and one room away from the artifact.
-
Lucky Pig of Amelia Earhart
-
Correct!
1. Blue-Purple made it to the temple games.
2. Blue made it to the temple games four times that day, and even made it to the temple 3 times.
3. Kristen met a guard in the Gargoyle Room and Swamp.
-
1. The only episode of its' day where the Green Monkeys didn't make it as far as the temple games.
2. One of three episodes of its' day where the temple games ended in a 2-1.5 score.
3. The run ended a room away from the artifact.
-
The Lost Whale Bone of Pytheas
-
Whale Bone of Pytheas
-
Yep, TRJ got it first.
-
1. This episode was produced third on its day, and shares the second time this temple game combination was used.
2. The temple run ended one room away from the artifact.
3. This temple run shared the exact same outcome as the temple run before it.
-
The Lost Taj Mahal Turban of Aurangzeb?
-
That is correct!
1. Lost Taj Mahal Turban was third on its production day, and the second Purple-Green episode that day (Metal Beard was the first one)
2. Chrystine's run ended in the Quicksand Bog.
3. Lost Taj Mahal Turban took place after Mummified Hand, which was another triple capture run.
-
*Bump*
1. The Steps of Knowledge pair was Red-Blue-Green-Silver
2. The temple game pair was the second time this pair happened on this taping day
3. The winning team entered 9 rooms in the temple run
-
The Helmet of Joan of Arc?
-
Wrong. Joan of Arc had Red-Blue-Green-Orange on the Steps, and Red vs. Blue happened three times on that day.
-
The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea?
-
Blue didn't make it to the Steps in Queen Boadicea. I have that episode memorized by heart, so I know all of the details about that episode. ;)
Is it Anne Bonny?
-
Blue made it to the Steps in Queen Boadicea. I have that episode memorized by heart, so I know all of the details about that episode. ;)
No, they didn't. That had Red-Green-Purple-Silver on the steps. For someone who just recently saw this episode, and has this memorized, AND was just recently reviewed, I'd expect one to know.
And no to Anne Bonny and Royal Torque. It WAS a Season 1 episode, but not from Anne Bonny.
-
*Blue didn't make it in Queen Boadicea. I noticed the mistake before you posted it. :P
The Golden Spider Web of Robert the Bruce?
-
The Bullet-Riddled Handbag of Belle Boyd?
-
Belle Boyd had Blue-Green-Orange-Purple. ;) (I remember this episode for having a rare combo)
Is it Great Seal?
-
Belle Boyd had Blue-Green-Orange-Purple. ;) (I remember this episode for having a rare combo)
Is it Great Seal?
YES FINALLY WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!
It was Great Seal. ;)
-
Guys, think about it:
1. The Steps of Knowledge pair was Red-Blue-Green-Silver
2. Blue vs. Silver happened in Geronimo AND Great Seal
3. The winning team entered 9 rooms in the temple run, and of course stopped in the Tomb
Are mine really THAT hard to figure out? What's wrong with a little challenge? :P
-
1. This episode featured the third straight time the Blue Barracudas lost the temple games.
2. The temple games score was 2-0.5
3. All three temple guards were encountered during the temple run
-
Montezuma?
-
Montezuma is correct!
1. The Blue Barracudas lost in "Sultan Suleiman" and "Cosa Rara" (both before "Montezuma")
2. The pendant score was 2-0.5.
3. Kelly and Kevin encountered all three temple guards, even though all three were avoidable. (Very similar to "Enormous Iron Nose Ring")
-
*Bump*
1. Steps of Knowledge was a double sweep
2. The temple games came down to a tiebreaker
3. The artifact was reached with under a minute left on the clock
-
The
Epic Choke Job of Jason Broken Wing of Icarus
-
Correct on every account. ;)
-
New one:
1. The artifact was third on this day and located on the bottom floor of the temple.
2. This episode featured the third time the Green Monkeys made it to the temple games on that production day, but first time they went to the temple.
3. The temple team was part of a production day where all artifacts were at least grabbed, and the two episodes before them featured a win and failed escape.
-
The Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain
-
The Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain
Correct!
1. Pirate Captain was third on its production day, after Queen Boadicea and Roland.
2. Roland and Queen Boadicea had the Red Jaguars beating the Green Monkeys.
3. The production day went like this - Roland :mrred: (win), Queen Boadicea :mrred: (failed escape), Pirate Captain  (win), and Enormous Feather  (failed escape).
-
Queen Boadicea was NOT a triple capture. You keep making mistakes about that episode, that you claim you've seen a million times.
-
Queen Boadicea was NOT a triple capture. You keep making mistakes about that episode, that you claim you've seen a million times.
* Failed escape, not triple capture. I was thinking of the other crappy Queen triple capture episode (Nzinga). Thanks for catching that. ;)
-
If no one else is gonna go, I'll go:
1. The team that made it to the temple was first in the moat, and second in the Steps of Knowledge.
2. The temple game pair that occurred happened twice on that filming day, this episode being the first.
3. The artifact was picked up with under 30 seconds left on the clock.
-
Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress
-
Correct.
-
Next episode:
1. This episode was taped third on its production day.
2. The final temple score was 1.5-1 where the Purple Parrots loss.
3. The temple run contained a certain detail that is shared only in this episode and the episode before it. And both episodes were on the same production day.
-
The Very Tall Turban of Ahmed Baba. With the Joel/Jamie sibling thing being the said "detail."
-
Well, it looks like Ahmed Baba fits the criteria perfectly. :P I actually had a different episode in mind though, but it looks like it could fit other episodes too. The episode I had in mind had a detail to do with the temple run itself. But you can go ahead since you bested me on this one. :P
-
No, I insist. If it's the wrong episode, it's the wrong episode. It's not fair that I get a free pass for absolutely nothing. Sorry, this is my fault. I didn't think things through enough.
Elizabeth the First's Golden Ship?
-
And I know this said detail too. Both had runs where only four rooms were entered, the other being that dreaded Cricket Cage. And both episodes had the Purple Parrots lose the temple games by 1 pendant. And we all know how THAT turned out.
-
Correct, it was Golden Ship. It was the third episode of S1L2, the Red Jaguars beat the Purple Parrots with a score of 1.5-1, and Gabby and Joe both traveled through four rooms too. Just like John and Tia in Golden Cricket Cage. But at least Gabby and Joe have an excuse for their pathetic progress.
-
Pass, I think it's time for me to take a break from these games. A much needed one. =/
-
I think it's time to bump this thread:
1. The Steps of Knowledge pair used in this episode, was also used a second time this filming day.
2. The temple games came down to a tiebreaker.
3. The first temple guard was in Medusa's Lair.
-
Iron Mask?
-
No. Iron Mask did not have a tiebreaker.
-
Electrified Key?
-
Close, but no. This tiebreaker was a 1.5 pendant one.
-
Then it must be Attila the Hun. :mrred:
-
Correct! :mrred:
1. The Steps of Knowledge pair Red-Green-Purple-Silver also happened in Billy the Kid.
2. The temple games came down to a 1.5 pendant tiebreaker.
3. Rachelle ran into her first and only temple guard in Medusa's Lair.
Your turn now. :mrred:
-
*Bump*
1. The temple game pair in this episode is the last time it was ever used.
2. The frontrunner was removed in their sixth room.
3. The second runner took a different path from their partner in the temple.
-
The Mysterious Manuscript of Mary Shelley
-
The Melted Head of Madame Tussaud
-
TSM got it, it was Melted Head.
-
I'll take another turn if no one minds.
1. The Steps of Knowledge was a double sweep.
2. This was the fourth time this particular team made it to the temple this season.
3. The frontrunner was removed from the temple in three rooms.
-
The Mummified Hand of the Egyptian King :mrblue:
It was Maggie's fault for dropping her pendant. Youtube told me. :mrblue:
-
Correct! :mrblue:
And yeah, it was totally Maggie's fault she dropped the pendant. But it was okay for Josh to take a completely different route. :mrblue:
-
Maggie's mistake ranks up there with the ladder climbing in Henry Morgan and Sherra taking a direct path. ;)
Next one:
1.) This episode was produced last on its production day.
2.) The temple game combination in this episode was unique to the season it was in, but was very common in other seasons.
3.) The team entered 6 rooms in total and met all three of their guards.

1.) It was the last episode of S1L1.
2.) Orange-Green was only used once in S1, but used a buttload of times in the last seasons.
3.) Sarah and Josh's layout only allowed them to enter 6 rooms, yet they still met all three guards.

2. The winning team swept the temple games.
3. The frontrunner ran into a temple guard in the very first room he entered.

The Bonnet of Dolley Madison :mrorange:
-
While that does fit all the criteria, that's not actually it. ;) Think of an episode you "love" so much. That might give it away. :P
-
The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh?
I only remember it because you always jump up and down with joy when Kim enters the temple. ;)
-
Yes, it was Missing Weather Maps. And YOU are the one who jumps up and down for Kim. ;)
And we posted at the exact same time again.

*screams as loud as Keeli, Dana, and Lauren*

3.) The team encountered all three guards in the run, but it didn't end in triple capture.

The Ivory Elephant of Scheherazade?
-
Not Ivory Elephant, but a good guess. The second clue was referring to a temple games color combination that was used earlier in the day. Sorry for it being a little vague. ;)
-
The Treasure of Anne Bonny? Since Red/Green also happened in Lawrence of Arabia. ;)
-
Yes, it was the Treasure of Anne Bonny featuring Ron the Cheater.
1.) Anne Bonny was the last episode of S1L9 and Season 1.
2.) Red-Green was also used in Lawrence of Arabia.

-

1.) Janeen sucked in the moat and Jay got his ass in gear and got the 4th spot. They dominated the other rounds too.
2.) Green Monkeys went to the temple in Sforza before Empress Eugenie.
3.) Janeen got removed from the Shrine with 1:30 as she ducked in her head in shame.
*scurries to the Trivia thread*
-
Not to mention, the moat had terrible editing in Good Luck Watch.
Next one:
1. The winning team swept the temple games.
2. The artifact was on the bottom floor of the temple.
3. The third and final temple guard was in the Shrine.
-
The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea :mrred:
-
While it does meet all the criteria, that's not actually it. Think of an episode that was overplayed A LOT during the Nick Gas days. ;)
-
The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh
-
Wrong again. Missing Weather Maps was almost never played on Nick Gas. Think of an episode that had REALLY bad editing and was played a lot. ;)
-
Oh yeah, the episode that we all thought was the first episode of Season 2:
The Silver Cannonball of Grandy Nanny
At least Nick GaS did us a favor and never play Missing Weather Maps.
-
NOW you got it! And yes, I'm glad Missing Weather Maps was never part of the 20 episode cycle.

2.) Kerry somehow found the half-pendant, even though she really shouldn't have bothered. -_-
3.) Kerry entered both the Shrine and Viper's Nest... in that order.

3. The frontrunner ran into the first temple guard on the top floor of the temple.
And Post 80,000 of the Temple Games section! :mrpurple:

-
Yeah, and we'd have another Sir Gawain on our hands. :mrorange:
Next one:
1. The winning team was 4th in the moat, 1st in the steps, and swept the temple games.
2. The frontrunner ran into a temple guard in the first room he entered.

3.) In this temple run, all three guards were unavoidable and the team encountered none of the temple in either entrance room.
-
The Golden Spider Web of Robert the Bruce?

Robert the Bruce is correct! This is the first time we ever used this episode. ;)
1.) It was last on its shameful production day
2.) It shared the same temple combination with Imperial Wizard (Green/Silver), where Green went to the temple in both episodes.
3.) Despite having 1.5 pendants, Jeremy and Christine were forced to face all 3 guards. But the triple capture shouldn't have happened.
-
Seriously? That was just a shot in the dark. And have we literally never used that episode in this thread before? That's kind of sad.
Next episode:
1. The SOK pair in this episode was used for a second this this production day.
2. The winning team swept the temple games.
3. The frontrunner was removed from the temple with 1:40 left on the clock.

-
Not Good Luck Watch. ;) Janeen was removed from the temple with 1:30 left on the clock.
-
The Thornwood Gavel of Judge Roy Bean?
-
That does fit the criteria, but no. Think about a certain contestant with hair with a mind of its own. ;)

Blackbeard's Treasure Map? Because Sabrina's hair had more brains than her. :P
Serious answer:
Ivory Elephant :mrblue:
-
Ivory Elephant is correct! :mrblue:

2.) This was the last time the Silver Snakes beat this team in the temple games.
3.) The temple runners entered 9 rooms with 1 Pendants, but it did not enter in triple capture.

1.) Henry Morgan came right after the worst Purple Parrot run ever (Golden Pepperoni)
2.) Last time Silver beat Orange.

1. TJ and Randy only won their third temple game.

1.) This episode featured a temple game score that was used once in the entire season.
2.) During the temple run, all of the central shaft rooms were entered. But no room was entered beyond the central shaft.
3.) The episode causes great confusion among Legends fans for a particular reason.
-
The Silver Cannonball of Grandy Nanny? With the whole "first episode of Season 2" confusion bit there.
-
Not Grandy Nanny, but you're on the right track about the episode order part. ;)
-
The Secret Battle Plan of Nathan Hale? With the whole layout change.
-
Not Nathan Hale. The second clue refers to a team that did not make it past the central shaft. Christina entered the King's Storeroom at least, thus she advanced past the central shaft. ;)
-
The Useless Map of Chibcha Chieftain? Since Jared and Hallie never made it past the central shaft after all. ;)
-
Oops, I realized I made a mistake. Only two rooms of the central shaft were entered in this run. Hopefully that makes this episode more clear. ;)
-
Not Chibcha Chieftain. I will post another hint soon. ;)
-
The Golden Cup of Belshazzar? Going on the whole central shaft and layout change bit. ;)
-
Very close with Belshazzar, but not the episode that I had in mind. Think of an episode that is mixed up with it. ;)
-
Blackbeard's Treasure Map? Since everyone always thinks THAT is "the first episode ever recorded."
-
Blackbeard is correct! :mrred:
1.) This episode was the only time 2-1.5 was used as a pendant score in Season 1.
2.) Sabrina the Man did not make it past the central shaft.
3.) People think that Blackbeard was the first episode recorded due to it being labeled "Episode 1". Sorry, but that belongs to Belshazzar. ;)
-
I was gonna guess Blackbeard!!! But I didn't think the entire central shaft was entered.
-
For some reason I always thought the 2-1.5 score happened more often in Season 1.
Next one:
1. This was the second episode of its production day.
2. The Steps of Knowledge pair in this episode also happened in the previous episode.
3. This artifact was grabbed at the last second.
-

2. Red-Blue-Green-Orange also happened in Bifocal Monocle
3. Artifact was grabbed at the last second.
-
Brace face team should be ashamed to have the same combination as Bifocal Monocle. :afro:

2.) It was also taped on the same day as two triple captures.
3.) This episode was the first time this team beat this other team in the temple games.

Is this Gator's episode??
-
Not Apanuugpak. ;) Amanda was removed from the temple with about 1:30 left on the clock.
-
I often call it "Gator" or "Gator's episode" because I hate typing "Apanuugpak"
-
The Snakeskin Boots of Billy the Kid?
-
Wrong. Kelly was removed with 2:08 left on the clock. This team did not win.
-
The Missing Portrait of Hans Holbein
-
Can't be. That was the only time Blue/Purple occurred in S3.
Gordian Knot?
-
It was Gordian Knot.
-
I think I'll go again:
1. This was the third episode of its production day.
2. This is the last time the Blue Barracudas make it to the temple games.
3. The frontrunner completed a certain room objective for the first and only time that season.
-
The Leopard-Skin Cloak of Annie Oakley :mrpurple:
-
Correct! :mrpurple:
1. This was the third episode of its production day.
2. This is the last time the Blue Barracudas make it to the temple games in Season 2.
3. Chandra completes the Room of the Secret Password objective, for the first and only time that season.
-
Next one:
1.) This was the only time that this temple game paired occurred in this season and the team entered the temple with 2 Pendants.
2.) The episode was first on its day.
3.) The temple team entered 9 rooms en route to artifact.
-
Ponce de Leon and the Lost Fountain of Youth
-
Not Fountain of Youth. Green/Blue also happened in Lost Lariat. ;)
-
The Golden Chains of Zenobia? Since Orange/Purple only happened in Season 1.
-
Golden Chains is correct! :mrorange:
-
And the Zenobia team entered 9 rooms? I always thought it was less than that. :o
Next one:
1. This episode was first of its day.
2. The Green Monkeys lost the temple games with 1.5 pendants.
3. The frontrunner was removed from the temple in the fourth room the team entered.
-
Its hard to believe, but they entered Cave of Sighs, Gargoyles, Pit, Sundial, Treasure Room , Heart Room, Harmonic Convergence, Bamboo Forest, and Ancient Kings. Those were 9 rooms and they probably had more rooms to go. :o
And yours is Mush Pot Hat. :mrorange:
-
And most of those rooms were brought on themselves too. Mostly thanks to Justin.
And Mush Pot Hat is correct. :mrorange:
-
*bump*
1. The temple games matchup was the only time it occurred in its' season.
2. The team encountered all three temple guards.
3. The temple run featured a production error.
-
Red Sash?
1.) Red/Blue only happened in Season 3 once.
2.) Brandy and Quentin encountered all three guards.
3.) The production error was that the Shrine-Secret Password door was left open. Even though I think the producers did this on purpose to make the layout easier. :P
-
Correct on all accounts!
-
Next one:
1.) This episode was first on its production day
2.) The Orange Iguanas went to the temple in this episode
3.) This episode is technically the only time the team didn't get a second prize this day
-
Blue Pearl?
-
Blue Pearl was second on its day.
Silver Horseshoe?
-
Not Blue Pearl. That was second on its day AND there was another team that didn't get a second prize that day: Mata Hari.
Not Butch Cassidy either. In that episode, the Orange Iguanas got the second prize and even the grand prize. This temple team did not get the second prize , which means this episode I am thinking of is not a failed escape. ;)
To expand on the last clue, the temple team in this episode was the only team to at least not get the second prize that day. You kind of need to think hard about this day. ;)
-
Levitating Dog Leash? Since that was the only win that day, and everything else was failed escapes. ;)
-
Bifocal Monocle
-
But the War Fan team technically lost too. Unless you mean the second prize? I'm not good at this. =/
-
Bifocal Monocle is correct!
1.) It was the first episode on its day.
2.) The Orange Iguanas made it to the temple.
3.) Bifocal Monocle was the only run that day where the team didn't win the second prize. The second prize was at least won in the other episodes that day, even in War Fan because it was confirmed by both Jeremy and Elise. ;)
-
And here I was thinking Levitating Dog Leash was the perfect choice because it was the only win that day.
-
But on Levitating Dog Leash's day, the other three teams reached their artifacts so they all got their second prizes. On Bifocal Monocle's day, Veronica and Thomas were the only team to not at least get the second prize. But that is because their layout was so hard and not because they were one of the worst teams ever. ;)
-
Oh yeah, that's right. Those poor kids had such a hard layout. They were still good players though. Even if one does not know how to climb a wall. ;)
-
1.) The episode following this episode featured a rule change in the moat.
2.) This episode used a temple game pair that was used early on in the day. It also featured two temple games that were unique to that production day.
3.) During the temple run, the second runner got removed in the Swamp/Jester's Court room space, and the second runner did not advance past it.
-
Silver Saddle Horn.
-
Silver Saddle Horn is correct. ;)
1.) The moat had to be changed slightly in Gordian Knot since this was the longest moat ever recorded.
2.) 2/3 of the temple games were unique to this production day
3.) Vicky was removed in the Holes of Python, and her partner did not make it past that room.
-
Here's the next one:
1. The color combination used in this episode happened three times this day. This was the second time it was used.
2. The losing team only scored a 1/2 pendant in the temple games.
3. The frontrunner used both temple entrances.
-
Genghis Khan :mrred:
-
Not quite. But you got the right team color down. ;)
-
Alhambra?
-
No. The Alhambra team
lost won their tiebreaker, and they never entered the Gargoyle Room.
Hint: This team won 1.5 pendants in the temple games. And it's the second time this temple layout/path was used.
-
Is it Stone Marker? 8)
1.) Red/Blue occurred three times in S1L6 - Buddha, Stone Marker, Joan of Arc
2.) Keeli and Chris beat the borther and sister Barracudas 1.5-0.5
3.) Keeli entered both entrance rooms, but the producers were very hard and made her take the direct path route. :x
-
Correct on every account! And Keeli was the one who made it hard for herself. It was punishment for trying to copy the high and mighty Paintbrush layout. Karma's a bitch. :afro:
-
Well, the producers didn't want Roberto and Katie to feel bad so they made her press only two tongues. Otherwise, she would've beaten Shaka Zulu's record. 8)
Next up:
1.) This episode featured Green/Silver in the temple games, the second time that day it happened.
2.) The frontrunner was removed in the room to the right of the Shrine.
3.) The second runner is talking about a lot for something notable that happened in this episode.
-
Golden Spider Web?
-
Yup, it was Robert the Bruce. ;)
1.) Imperial Wizard and Robert the Bruce were Green/Silver episodes on this day.
2.) Christine was removed in the Room of the Ancient Warriors
3.) Jeremy gets a lot of attention for his cheating in the temple games. Even though it is not as bad as a Red Jaguar boy from this day...
-
Yeah, but we're not allowed to hate Jason because he was fast moving through the temple. ;)
And I'll pass.
-
I will go again!
1.) The temple team went 4th, 1st, and won 2 Pendants in the temple games
2.) The losing temple game team featured Nate and Lissy
3.) This temple run had a different outcome than every other run during this day.
-
Good Luck Watch? And wasn't that girl in the temple games named Courtney? :afro:
-
Yes, it is Good-Luck Watch. I meant Courtney and not Lissy. :afro: I was thinking of the Red Jaguars in Queen Boadicea that also featured a Nate. :P
The Paintbrush's turn now.
-
Here's the next one:
1. This episode was the first of two on its filming day to feature a tiebreaker.
2. The frontrunner was removed from the temple just four rooms in.
3. The second runner grabbed the artifact with 44 seconds left on the clock.
-
Levitating Dog Leash :mrorange:
-
Correct! :mrorange:
1. It was the first of two tiebreakers that day (the other being Icarus)
2. Elizabeth was removed in the fourth room her entered
3. Jason grabs the dog leash (that any idiot can use) with 44 seconds left on the clock
-
1.) This episode was first on its production day.
2.) The temple team won 2 Pendants where they won each of their individual games and tied their team game.
3.) The frontrunner was removed from the temple with 1:20 remaining after only traveling through 4 rooms.
-
John Henry
-
Lost Hammer is correct!
1.) First episode of S1L2.
2.) Kim and Billy won their individual games and tied their team game. It is a wonder how they won 2 Pendants.
3.) Kim was removed with that little time left. It might've been less if it wasn't for the Heart Room guard.
The only good part about this episode is Jennifer and Damian! :mrblue:
Paintbrush's turn. ;)
-
Who would later appear in John Sutter! :mrblue:
Next one:
1. It was the first episode of its production day.
2. The two losing teams on the Steps each got two questions correct.
3. The team that went to the temple entered all three central shaft rooms.
-
Leonardo Da Vinci :mrorange: :afro:
-
Close, but no. Paintbrush was last on its day, not first. ;) :afro:
-
Missing Eye? :mrsilver:
-
Correct! :mrsilver:
1. Missing Eye was first on its day (Nose Ring, Tall Turban, and Scheherazade came after)
2. The two losing teams on the steps got two questions right, due to the four way tie
3. Even room in the central shaft was entered, from the Observatory down
