I remember in the Smashed Printing Plates of Frederick Douglass when Jason made it to the Dark Forest, the tree was flailing its arms all over the place and Jason was trying to avoid them...but it still got him. :roll:

Haha, I hate it when it's so obvious there is a Temple Guard in the trees (when the arms are flying around) & the players don't even try to go through the wall when they have the option to. Tsk tsk. Yeah, I always thought there was a person in the trees too.

Yeah! I've always known about the man in the trees. Robotics and strings can always break down, so to have a person in there is the smartest option.

I thought this too as well but I was watching some of the temple runs and in The Discarded Seal of Ivan the Terrible the temple guard is in the first suit of armor yet you can clearly see that the door to the kings storeroom is closed when she runs out of time heading into the 3rd suit of armor.

The only way to avoid a guard in the Room of the Ancient Warriors would be to go into the room and back out to where you came from.  It's easy as that.

Well it's unclear one way or the other, but i just began to consider that after the last time i saw the Discarded Seal Temple Run.  After all, that wouldn't be the only time a door opened way to late (like the Medusa's Lair-Laser Light Room door in "The Missing Eye of David.")

Well... I'm back (not that anyone cares, but final exams consumed my life!) but I think it would be possible to avoid a Cave of Sighs temple guard. For example a contestant could enter the Room of the Three Gargoyles, go down, and enter the Pit of Despair from the top entrance and avoid the temple guard hidden in the bottom corner. For a contestant to be caught, the temple guard would have to climb the Cave himself!

I always thought that happened in Robin and Marian's Ladder. Ericka was forced down into the Cave of Sighs from the Royal Gong Room and stayed to the top of the of the Cave and the same with Jeremy. Considering the team only entered five rooms the only two rooms that could've had a temple guard would've been the Cave or Observatory.
