Apologies for the downtime. Seems my DNS provider has some BS rule that I didn't know about which renders one's account dormant should said account not be logged into for 6 months:
Free accounts not accessed at least once every 6 months will be considered dormant and unloaded from memory.
This is meant to keep a handle on some of the long tail account buildup that has accumulated over a period of several years. I am setting up a system of graceful notifications for this. This will not apply to premium members supporting the project.
Odd thing is, that rule was enacted back in March of 2012, and this the first time (needless to say) this has happened, despite the fact that it had been way more than 6 months (until now) since I had last accessed my account.
I guess I might have to look into an alternative, but I'm not going to worry about that now. I'm just happy the board's back up.
