Yeah, when we were talking about Golden Cricket Cage and Lost Hammer in the other topic and how you will never watch them again. I wanted to make a list of episodes that we never want to watch.
I like the idea of the honorable mentions too. I should mention some episodes.
My thoughts:
- Blackbeard: How could I forget this one?
The really bad editing and the god awful temple run in really hard to watch. Sabrina is a disgrace to the Red Jaguars.
- Lost Lion Tail: This episode is full of shame. The Silver Snakes dropping their sign is just painful to watch. And watching Claude inside the temple piss away an easy win is even more infuriating, especially after the Purple Parrots got a free pass to the temple.
- Charles Lindbergh: I agree with this one to a certain extent. I thought the earlier rounds were sort of interesting like the live footage in the legend and Nick's temple game that was pretty rare. But I avoid the temple run for the same reasons as Enormous Feather. I would include this one on my honorable mentions list. Kim is another disgrace to the Red Jaguars.
- Xerxes: This one can go on my "black list" too. I do like the competitive temple games, but Noelle and Pat making it to the temple makes my head spin thinking about it. They were a waste of space.
- Snow Cone: HOW DID I OVERLOOK THIS EPISODE?!
Seriously, this episode was a waste of space with nothing good at all about it. Every single round was bad and the temple run was a suckfest also. This team wasted 3 minutes completing only 5 rooms. Yet, most teams in Season 3 would complete these same rooms in a minute or less. -_-
Here are a few more that could go on my black list:
- Lost Logbooks: A forgettable episode that was bad all the way through. It also ranked pretty low when I ranked it too. Triple capture or not, Jessica was a lost cause.
The only notable thing is the Orange-Blue temple games with Blue winning.
- Jean Lafitte: Another episode I barely remember exists. The Blue Barracudas scraped by their whole episode and then go to the temple the same way we criticize Alhambra for. And they sucked too.
- Golden Chains: Nothing remarkable about this episode at all. All the rounds were bad and boring, and Justin was hard to watch in the temple.
- Grandy Nanny: The Orange Iguanas were pretty mediocre, and the rest of the episode was boring too. I hardly remember that this one exists.
- Silver Saddle Horn: Just like most of the Season 1 episodes on this list, this episode is full of mediocrity. It had the longest recorded moat, boring temple games, and a pretty disappointing temple run. There is just no reason for me to go back and watch it.
- Queen Nzinga: The earlier rounds sucked and the temple run was one of the worst triple captures. Don't waste your time with this one.
- Lily-Crested Crown: Another unremarkable Orange Iguanas episode. I don't care how close the temple games were, this episode was both boring and forgettable. And the temple run was just as unremarkable. Gwalior, an episode similar to this one, is much superior in every way.
Honorable mentions:
- Fountain of Youth: An episode that was really boring and unremarkable. You won't miss anything by skipping it.
- Stone Head: This is an unusual episode because there are some rounds I like a lot. But the really long moat and piss poor temple run make me not want to watch it again. I do like the legend and unique temple games.
- Nathan Hale: The triple capture was a load of crap and the earlier rounds had bad editing. The other rounds were okay though. Although I would hardly find time to watch it.
- Robert the Bruce: I have seen this episode a billion times, so I have no reason to watch it again. Even then, every round sucked and the Green Monkeys sucked in the temple too.
