Seriously, how can anyone say Applewood Amulet is a bad run just because Olivia Emma and Robert get an easy path? It's not like they chose their path, it's not like they asked the producers to make things easy just to inconvenience the audience at home. Robert and Olivia Emma were very fast players, and knew what to do in every room, and never got turned around once. So what if they didn't find the half pendant? That's just being nitpicky. And even if they had lost, guess what? I would still think highly of this run. Sorry to rant, but it just bugs me that it's been considered a bad, undeserved win in the past because heaven forbid they get an easy path. Olivia Emma and Robert were a great team, and they deserved to win.

Exactly. As far as I'm concerned, it was just as flawless as the likes of Atocha AND Lucky Pillow, both filmed the same day. Easy path be damned.

People like to pick on runs like Applewood Amulet and Galileo because a lot of people praise them while no one recognizes their precious Geronimo or Butch Cassidy. I know people have different opinions and I don't expect them to like these runs at all. But when they nitpick about everything like comparing Olivia-Emma to Christina from Nathan Hale just because she passed the half-pendant is going way over the top. Was she lucky? Sure, but her run did not end in triple capture. I am sure we would criticize her like we do for runs like Nathan Hale or Priceless Portrait where the contestants pass up the obvious half-pendant. And every temple run had some lucky moment in them, even the likes of Apanuugpak and Pirate Captain.

Yeah, people just don't like the likes of Applewood Amulet and Galileo just because we don't give other mediocre, undeserved runs praise. It's just this whole "let's bring other runs down just to make our favorites look better" mentality. If it wasn't for that, then I would've had a MUCH easier time taking them all seriously.

And by the way, Kristen from Priceless Portrait actually DID pick up her half pendant. She didn't pass anything up at all.

Not only that, but some people argue that if one contestant does something that means its comparable to another contestant. For example, they feel that Olivia-Emma should get criticized like Christina from Nathan Hale for passing up her obvious half-pendant. Or that Joel can't be praised because he made the same mistake as Ron. Contestants like Ron and Christina have no redeeming value because they were the runs that screwed up their runs. Olivia-Emma and Joel won their runs because they had some redeeming qualities about them and proved them. So I refuse to argue with people that compare these players to obviously inferior ones.

Yeah, and people give Olivia Emma a hard time because her layout was so "easy." Yet Paula gets nothing but praise for getting a cupcake layout. And honestly, Olivia Emma's layout really wasn't that easy, AT ALL. She ran into the hardest rooms Season 2 had to offer at the time. So obviously, it's gonna take some time to finish those rooms. You can't expect a team to get a hard layout and then win with over a minute to spare, ala Benzibab. It doesn't work that way. Even if she had Nostradamus' layout, I bet they still would've won. So the haters don't know the HELL they are talking about.

That's another thing that people like to argue is about temple layouts. They think just because Applewood Amulet's win was very close it means that Olivia-Emma and Robert will lose in every other layout. They will definitely win in a layout like Levitating Dog Leash or even Golden Pepperoni. I'd like to think that teams will adjust accordingly to their layout. And like you mentioned, not every win has to be with the same amount of time as Benzibab. And honestly, that temple win was way too simple. Kevin and Annie were a fast team, but the bottom floor of Season 3 was way too simple. Same with Butch Cassidy and Paula's win. She finished with a lot of time because the bottom floor was much easier than the top floor.

Man, I hate all of these episodes. They were among the worst featured on the first season. I voted for Lost Logbooks because it was the lesser of the three evils. Although Jessica sucked balls in the temple and I hate this run like the other ones. It is only fitting that a crappy room has crappy episodes associated with it.

Wow, I hate ALL the episodes. But I'll go with Magellan. It's best of the worst, and it's more forgettable than it is bad.
