[Purple Parrots Fan]

TV's layout reminds me of Dried Apple Half, only it was more successful. PPF's layout reminds me of Dried Ear of Corn.

I'd like to try and make a successful Dark Forest layout.

I'd say it's more of a Belle Boyd than it is a Dried Apple Half. And yeah, mine is a lot like Dried Ear of Corn.

These Orange Iguanas were great. Although they came close to losing at the SoK, they rocked the moat, owned the temple games, and took it to the temple. Speaking of the temple, look at that layout! The team was required to enter at least 7 rooms, but they added the Crypt to their layout, and with two pendants, I think this was the big payoff. The team also completely ignored the rooms on the left. The second runner also had a great exit plan by taking the bridge. Note: the frontrunner started in the Crypt, but the second runner started in the Ledges.

Finally the Orange Iguanas make an appearance in the temple! And what a great way to start things. This team was 2nd in the moat, 1st in the steps, tied 1.5 in the temple games AND won the tiebreaker, and won with plenty of time to spare. Both players were fast, smart, and knew what to do in every room. They took ever shortcut possible and smartly grabbed the hidden half pendant. The artifact was grabbed with 55 seconds to go, and it was brought out with 41 seconds to spare. Great team and great effort!

Well, there's not much to say about this one. Except that both players moved a bit too slow, and the temple guard placement was a little tough. Had both players picked up the pace, they could have reached the artifact. And maybe even brought it out too.

This run is very reminiscent of "The Mask of the Man in the Iron Mask," where a trip up to Medusa's Lair costs the team a victory. The good news is the second runner found the half pendant in the Laser Light Room, and needed it too. The bad news is that he simply could not make up for lost time. Time ran out in the Lightning Ball Room, just one room away from the artifact. Had it not been for that detour in Medusa's Lair, this could have been a victory.

This run is very reminiscent of "The Lost Taj Mahal Turban of Aurangzeb." Where both the layout and temple guard placement is quite tough. The main problem this team had, was not finding the half pendant in the Shrine. And the consequences were pretty much immediate, the run ended in the Mine Shaft with 42 seconds to go. Had this team found the half pendant, they definitely would have reached the artifact. Not sure if they would have brought it out though.

Wow, talk about a fast team! After the frontrunner was removed in the Tomb in just a minute, the second runner blazed through every room. The artifact was grabbed with 1:10 remaining, and escaped 17 seconds later. The layout was a bit easy, but the win was still deserved nonetheless.
