Yeah, I totally remember Renegade liking Atocha as his favorite episode. For good reasons too! This episode is definitely in my top 10.

I think it is settled, I am doing Emiliano Zapata next. You can never go wrong with talking about that episode.  Although I don't see it outranking Annie Taylor and Missy's win. Electrified Key would be a good follow up episode too since it comes after Zapata. And yeah, this would've been the perfect production day had Peter and Michelle won. I don't really mind the episode at all, but it is definitely disappointing.

I also want to do Cosa Rara soon. Another episode I remember very well and can see it ranking very low. I really want to see someone else rank Golden Cricket Cage too. I know it is an awful episode, but it is so bad that it is hilarious. I am sure you would have a blast tearing it apart.

Yeah, Atocha is a great episode. It was even paired up with Apanuugpak, AND part of the 20 episode cycle. So the execs at Nick Gas did get one thing right. I'm not sure if Atocha would rank Top 10 for me. Maybe just missing Top 10, but it does rank very high up there.

And I'll be expecting the rewrite of Applewood Amulet in my inbox soon I take it? Whenever you get around to it of course. I predict it'll rank an 8.6 for you, to my 8.4 average. Which would make for an overall average of 8.5. You can never go wrong with this episode. I swear, every round in that episode was flawless. Electrified Key was a good episode, very eventful. If only Peter never took that direct path. That's what drags it down for me a little. I would also LOVE for you to take on that dreaded Cosa Rara. I'd especially love for you to tear that absurd, completely ridiculous legend to shreds. And I don't think I could EVER rewatch Cricket Cage in a million years. Maybe I could just write everything from memory? And by memory, I mean the only time I ever saw the full episode a long time ago. Even if I was only going by your review of it, I would still rank pretty low. And I would be sure to tear it to shreds too.

I hate Cosa Rara and would love to tear it to shreds. Although I hate everything about this episode from the retarded legend, long moat, boring temple games, and a loser named Jessica. I can see it rank really low like Golden Cricket Cage and Snow Cone bad.

And I know how you feel about Golden Cricket Cage. I had a similar case with Bifocal Monocle where I only watched it maybe once or twice during the Nick GaS days. I always remember the temple run for being crap, but I totally forgot the whole episode was crap. It really surprised me when I reviewed it to see how awful it was. That's because I never really watched the full episode until I reviewed it. I hate that episode and it is honestly my most hated episode at this point. I have the same experience with Snow Cone, but I did remember that episode sucked at least before reviewing it.

I can honestly see you ranking Cosa Rara in the 3 range. It really was that bad of an episode. Come to think of it, that was THE only episode I ever reviewed that was below 5 range, excluding the collaboration ones we did. All the other below 5 range episodes were all you. But you wouldn't mind if I ranked Cricket Cage out of pure memory, just going by your review, would you? I might do the same for Cracked Crown. I've only seen the episode about three times, but I do remember a lot about the episode. That's certainly not gonna be ranked high by me either.

We should also rewrite Stone Marker (me) and good ol' Paintbrush (you). Neither episode was exciting, but it would be interesting to see if our scores match up at all. And PS, I don't know if you've noticed, but we've passed 10,000 views of this thread. Whoo hoo!

Just curious - If you can pick one episode that you hate the most on the show, which one would it be? Anyone can answer this question.

There were a lot of episodes I hate, but Cracked Crown is my most hated episode. My God was it so boring and overplayed back in the day. This is one of those episodes where there was something wrong every round. Long moat, boring legend, horrible temple games, and Kerry's temple performance pisses me off. I hate this episode and I would rather watch John and Tia running around the temple for three minutes doing shit then lay my eyes on this episode. Cracked Crown is definitely my most hated episode.

Hands down, "The Keys to Alhambra" is my most hated episode. Even the very first time I watched it, I absolutely hated it. Short moat, dumb legend, idiots at the steps, one sided temple games, undeserved tiebreaker win, and that atrocious temple run. Not even Steve could save that run for me. I hate this episode, I've only watched it twice and I intend to NEVER watch it again.

On another note, have you started on your rewrite of Applewood Amulet yet? Just wondering.

I hate Alhambra with a passion. Talk about backing your way into the temple run. Even John and Tia were more deserving to go to the temple over Steve and Lisa. This would be my most hated episode if it wasn't for the nostalgia factor. I remember this episode from my childhood, so I don't consider it my most hated episode. But it ranks up there. There is nothing redeemable about it at all that's for sure.

My most hated list goes:
1.) Cracked Crown
2.) Bifocal Monocle
3.) Golden Cricket Cage
4.) Alhambra
5.) Kilimanjaro

Okay, it's been weeks since this "project" has been updated, and I just have to ask. Do you want to continue this, at all? Or do you want me to unpin and lock this topic? Me, I think we can all agree this project is kaput, and nothing will ever become of it. Maybe this whole "episode rewrite" thing wasn't such a good idea after all. I can see why you don't want to continue this. I get that you're busy and that you have a life, and I'm not rushing you along with anything. And my interest in the show is set firmly at zero percent now. So I shouldn't talk. Hell we don't even post player rankings anymore. Though I have another set of rankings I do want to post. I'll do it later maybe. But if you want me to lock this topic, and if you don't want my help in anything anymore, I'll completely understand. Since we're pretty much done with everything, do you want this topic unpinned and locked? I just have to know. Sorry to bug you. Which seems to be a recurring theme with me lately.

It's okay, I feel the same way as you do. I have like zero interest in this show right now. I also have been really busy too with summer classes and working 40+ hours a week. But the main reason I haven't touch this project lately was because of the same reason as you -- I just don't have any interest at the moment. Mostly because no one really talks about the show at this point in time. When there is no discussion, I feel like why even bother when no one else is going to post? I know this forum goes through phases, and right now we are in a downtime phase. I really hope it returns soon, because we both know how I like talking about this show.

But really, this project was more interesting when we had episodes that weren't reviews but needed one. But that doesn't mean that I still don't want to write for episodes that I never wrote for either. I really do want to right a review for episodes like Billy the Kid, Sir Gawain, and Applewood Amulet. I don't think we have to close or unpin this topic. We can keep it for reference and maybe somewhere down the line we can do something with this.

Alright, I'll keep everything in tact, and keep the thread open. I just wanted to know where exactly you stood on this. And I would love to read your rewrites on the likes of Sir Gawain, Applewood Amulet, and Billy the Kid. Especially since those are runs that may or may not get flack most of the time. You're right, maybe somewhere down the road we'll pick this up again. I mean, look at how much we got done this past winter. I haven't exactly calculated it, but I'm pretty sure our rewrite count stands at me with five rewrites, and you with only two. So you have quite a ways to go before catching up to me. Though 7 rewrites so far in almost two months is pretty good progress too.

As for discussion of the show, you/we can still talk about it elsewhere throughout the whole Heart Room. Even if we've covered pretty much every aspect of the forum. I mean, that's what this section of the forum is for, right?

- I only covered two Red Jaguar runs (Belshazzar and Genghis Khan).
- And only two Silver Snake runs (Great Seal and Secret Battle Plan).
- You covered all of the Season 1 Green Monkey runs except for Pecos Bill.
- You covered all of the Season 2 Red Jaguar runs except for Nzinga, another collaboration one.
- We collaborated on 5 Season 3 Green Monkey runs.

I think that's all the interesting tidbits that I could find. I know I might be missing some. Feel free to let me know if you spot any. Otherwise, you can add yet another set of stats to the OP.

Wow, that is pretty neat stuff!  I can't believe how I practically dominated the Silver Snakes and Red Jaguars. That is kind of hard for me to believe now because more than half of their episodes were average or bad. My favorite team to write for was the Blue Barracudas because most of their episodes I don't have a problem with except Jean Lafitte and Amelia Earhart. And the Purple Parrot count was close too despite how big of a fan you were of them.

Here are some other interesting coincidences:
- You wrote a review for Paintbrush and I wrote a review for Stone Marker. And we changed our names to those respective episodes too.   
- I wrote a review for all of the bottom of the central shaft runs except for Queen Boadicea, which was a collaboration.
- You wrote a review for all the Viper's Nest runs (Mush Pot Hat, Butch Cassidy, and Emiliano Zapata)
- Likewise, I wrote a review for all Dungeon artifacts (Blackbeard, Alhambra, and Magellan.)

To be fair, you wrote A LOT of bad ones. Even the likes of Cricket Cage, Alhambra, Snow Cone, etc. were your works. And yeah, the only teams that were totally one sided and uneven were Red and Silver. I thought for sure I wrote more Purple Parrot runs than what I listed. I thought I dominated all of them (sans the collaboration of Bone Necklace), but oh well, I still wrote a lot nonetheless.

And yes, I did indeed write the Paintbrush episode, and you wrote Stone Marker. Funny how that turns out. Regardless, now I will add this to the OP. This will be our 7th set of stats, unless you have stats of your own you want to post.

I'm thinking of starting this project up again, continuing the episode rewrites. It's been months since this project has been touched, and we need Legends discussion here desperately. Now that I'm back on the forums, I want to continue to help with this project. Even if you don't want to do this anymore. Is this okay with you? And if yes, do you have any requests?
