So now we are guaranteed an NFC South champ without a winning record. What a sad division.

With how the Saints played against the Panthers, I won't be surprised if they lose another game or two. I'm just gonna go out on a limb and say the Panthers will win this division.

Cam Newton, star QB of the Carolina Panthers, involved in very serious wreck.

EDIT: On highway 277 near Charlotte, Newton's car and another wrecked. Newton had to be loaded onto a stretcher and taken to nearby hospital via ambulance. Injuries suffered are non life threatening. No status on the other person. More coming.

Thoughts and prayers to Newton, his family, and the Panthers through this tough time. Right when we're talking a late Panther playoff run.

Apparently, Newton's truck flipped over several times. But several news sources reported that there were no major injuries to him, thankfully. I'm praying that he has a fast recovery and nothing detrimental to this health at this moment. Too bad, because he is very solid young QB and Carolina is in the middle of  playoff race. It is questionable whether he is playing against the Buccaneers this week or not. Hopefully everything turns out okay with him.

Arizona Cardinals @ St. Louis Rams (The Rams have already upset a few elite teams this season, so they might spell trouble for Arizona. But the Cards have been doing a solid job taking care of their own business and I think they will beat the Rams)

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Atlanta Falcons (Will the Steelers lose to another NFC South team? With the worst defense in the league, I think they beat Atlanta handily)
Washington Redskins @ New York Giants (Battle for 3rd in the NFC East? Who cares, both teams are done )
Minnesota Vikings @ Detroit Lions (Lions shouldn't underestimate the Vikings, but its a home game and I think Detroit will win)
Miami Dolphins @ New England Patriots (Miami will have no chance in NE)
Oakland Raiders @ Kansas City Chiefs (Will the Chiefs lose to the Raiders again? They have no room for error now)
Houston Texans @ Indianapolis Colts (The Texans have never won in Indy, and that won't change on Sunday either)
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Baltimore Ravens (If the Ravens lose this game, they need to contract the whole franchise. )
Green Bay Packers @ Buffalo Bills (Would like to see Buffalo win, but the Packers will make minced meat out of them)

New Orleans Saints @ Chicago Bears (I don't trust either team, but I see the Bears winning at home and causing even more NFC South madness)

Also, get well soon Cam Newton. That could've been much worse, but thankfully it wasn't. Hopefully he heals up in time for the Bucs game.

It looks like Derek Anderson will be starting for Carolina during the Bucs game. He also started against them during the first week of the season and won. As long as Cam is back for the Browns game, Carolina should be fine this week against the Bucs.

It looks like the Cardinals beat the Rams in the battle of the field goals! Unfortunately, they also lost another QB in this game. Can't they ever catch a lucky break?

Also, I am pretty sure the Cardinals snag a playoff berth too. Because they own tiebreakers over Cowboys, Eagles, and Lions. And Cowboys-Eagles are playing this weekend, so one team will finish 11-5 at beast. And the Cards have 11 wins now.

Well, the Cardinals pulled out another win (what a boring ass game, by the way), but at the cost of their 2nd string QB. Stanton's right knee got injured. Now they must rely on the crappy Lindley to pull them through the rest of the way. Even if they make the playoffs, they probably won't play more than one playoff game. What a shame too. Their season started off so well and now it's become a corkscrew of key injuries.

Watch the Cardinals get a first round bye and an NFC South teams plays them and beats them to go onto the NFCCG. Because I do believe that they will go one and done like PP319 mentioned.

Stanton wasn't even that good (more or less, last night). Lindley (their next QB) has the worst ESPN Total QBR in the league the past 3 seasons. 

Watch, Seattle will pound them on SNF next week. That will lower the Cards to a 5 seed, which means they go to the NFC South for a wild card game, and probably lose that too. The Cards have all but clinched so no epic Chokejob. Tiebreakers over Philly, Dallas, Green Bay, San Francisco, & Detroit also help. However, a lot of teams (Seattle, especially) are hoping to play the Cardinals when the playoffs happen. 

Also, next Thursday is Titans vs Jaguars.

And Houston, Jacksonville, Oakland, Minnesota, & Dallas have showed why they didn't pick Manziel. My oh my, are the Browns dumb once again. They hyped the matchup like it's the AFC Championship.

Now all of a sudden, the current AFC wild card teams can't sleep on Buffalo. They're a legit threat.

Except the fact that Pittsburgh & Baltimore won, they'll probably be the wild cards. 

With Arizona winning on Thursday, Homefield advantage chances have been shot.  

Bills may be a playoff team next year. They held Manning & Rodgers to 0TD's each.
