The pendant splits, the camera zooms out from a tropical bird perched on a branch near the Steps of Knowledge, and then we fade to Kirk with his hands on the Green Monkeys? shoulders.
?Welcome back to Legends,? he says. ?The Silver Snakes have proven themselves worthy and now have earned the right to enter Olmec?s temple. But first, Olmec?s going to give them some information to help them retrieve The Cracked Coin of the Emperor Alexius.?
Olmec begins his rundown:
?You could start by climbing through the Tigers' Den and climbing down into the Vine Drop. Pull the right vine to raise the stone slab, then race into the Treasury of the Monkeys. Find the right bunch of bananas, and you could choose to go up into the Anaconda's Sanctuary, or into the Grand Marsh. Open the alligators? mouths to find the tongue, and you might have a chance to enter The Forest? of a Thousand Dragons?where you can grab The Cracked Coin of Emperor Alexius. Reach into the dragon?s mouths and find the key?but be careful: one of the dragons might be inhabited by the spirit of a Temple Guard! If they grab you, you?ll have to give up a Pendant of Life. Next, plow through the wall and into the Secret Spring.
?There, climb up the Falls and into the Catfish Cove. Find the correct bucket, and open the door to the Shriiiiine? of the Silver Monkey. Assemble the statue, and you may be headed for the Lion Cave. Place yourself in the correct mouth, which will allow you into the Wildebeests' Hideout. Turn the correct horn, and run across the Walk of Faith. Then, pass through the Room of the Tropicana Birds, race down the stairs, and back through the temple gates. The choices are yours and yours alone. You won one pendant in the temple games. Who's going first??
?I am!? shouts Carla.
?Very well, Carla!? replies Olmec. ?When Kirk gives the signal, you'll race through the gates into the Temple, and make your way towards the Cracked Coin. Hidden inside the Temple are Temple Guards assigned to protect three specific rooms. You can trade your pendant for an extra life and go on but if you're caught without a pendant, you'll be taken out of the Temple... and it will be Shaun?s turn to enter and try her? His luck. Hidden inside the Temple is the other half of your pendant. If you can find it, and you?re carrying the other half, you will get an extra life. If you can reach the Cracked Coin, all the doors of the Temple will instantly unlock and the Temple Guards will vanish. Return through the gates with The Cracked Coin of Emperor Alexius in three minutes, and you will both be handsomely rewarded?and here's how!?

?Let?s get this team to the Bahamas!? shouts Kirk. ?All right, let?s get in position? mouthpieces in! Let?s put three minutes on the clock!?
The clock slams down in the corner of the screen. ?Olmec,? says Kirk, ?please lower your gate.? The gate lowers as Olmec moans and the lights around him switch off. ?On your marks, get set? GO!?
?There goes Carla, into the Temple!? begins Kirk as Carla makes her way up the Temple steps and jogs past Olmec. ?She?s going down into the Tiger?s Den!? Carla slides down into the Tiger?s Den, and squeezes her way through the entrance to the room before climbing deeper down into the ledges. [2:53] She heads toward the exit of the room, but before she can, a drumroll plays and the first TEMPLE GUARD emerges from the bowels of the room! ?Oh, Temple Guard!? exclaims Kirk as Carla jumps back in surprise. ?Woah, scared her, scared me! She?s giving him a pendant though, so she can move on?? Carla regains composure and turns around to hit the actuator to the upper passage to the Vine Drop, and it opens. ?All right, now she?s gonna head her way into the Vine Drop,? commentates Kirk. Carla craws her way along the passageway, and then we see her back down the ladder into the Vine Drop with 2:45 remaining. She sets foot on the stone floor, pushing some tropical shrubs away with her feet, and makes her way to the first vine. As she pulls down on it, the vine sinks down by itself, activating a rickety bamboo contraption that pulls a rope to raise the rock slab. [2:36] She hits the actuator behind it a number of times, but the door to the Treasury won?t open. ?That doors doesn?t look like it?s gonna open,? Kirk remarks. Carla hits the actuator twice more before backtracking towards the ladder, and begins climbing back up to the door of the Tiger?s Den. ?She wanted to go into the Treasury of the Monkeys,? explains Kirk, as Carla makes her way into the Den, ?but that door wouldn?t open, so she?s gonna have to go all the way back to the Tropicana Bird Room?? Carla crawls through the upper portion of the Tiger?s Den, before opening the door to the Room of the Tropicana Birds. [2:05] She climbs up into the room, moving over to the leftmost bird first, hitting its beak. It doesn?t open, so she then moves on to the birds on the right of the room, and the second bird opens the door to the Walk of Faith. ?She lost some time in the Vine Drop,? says Kirk, ?and she?s gonna have to move quickly to make it up now!?
[1:53] Carla crosses the Walk of Faith with care, gripping the vines along the sides as the bridge sways. ?It?s swingin?!? comments Kirk as Carla hits the actuator to the Wildebeests? Hideout with 1:40 on the clock. ?Now she?s going up to the Wildebeests? Hideout Room, where she?ll have to turn the correct nor? Horn to open the doors,? stumbles Kirk as Carla appears in the Hideout. She turns the right-side horn first, pausing to look for an open door before turning the left-side horn, which slides open the door downward. [1:31] ?Okay, now she?s gotta go down to the Anaconda?s Sanctuary,? says Kirk. She backs down the ladder, making her way down into the room. But just moments after she sets foot in the room, a panel on the left of the ladder flips open and a second TEMPLE GUARD jumps out to remove Carla from the Temple with 1:24 left!
?Oh, Temple Guard got her!? shouts Kirk. ?Go, Ma?uh, Shaun!? Shaun makes his way up the steps, running past Olmec, and behind him as he heads up the staircase to the Room of the Tropicana Birds. He passes through the room, running down the stairs to the Walk of Faith. [1:12] ?Now he?s got to make his way across the Walk of Faith,? explains Kirk, as Shaun nearly slips and falls off the bridge. ?You?ve got to hold onto those ropes along the side to do it, or else you?ll lose your balance?it?s not easy, that Walk of Faith.? With 1:05 on the clock, Shaun reaches the other end of the bridge and begins to climb the spiraled stairway up to the Wildebeests? Hideout. ?The Wildebeests? Hideout is open, so he can just go right down to the Anaconda?s Sanctuary, where Carla was taken out,? comments Kirk. Shaun begins to head down into the Anaconda?s Sanctuary, half-falling his way down the last few rungs of the ladder. [0:47] He grabs the rubber snake from the front ledge, and then takes it to the right-side wall first, putting the snake in the hole headfirst and then sliding the rest in. ?Is it gonna open the door?? asks Kirk. ?No, gotta try the other one now?? Shaun turns around and feeds the snake into the left-side hole, opening the door downward as the snake hits the end of the hole. [0:32] Shaun begins to climb down the ladder; we switch to a shot of the Treasury of the Monkeys, as a small golden object can clearly be seen hanging down from the panel-door that had dropped down to allow access from the Sanctuary above. ?He knocked down those bananas!? cries Kirk, as Shaun knocks over two bunches of bananas behind the ladder as he climbs down. [0:24] He steps onto the dirt floor of the room, and then searches around for the bananas he knocked over. ?He?s gotta look for them now,? says Kirk, as Shaun searches the front of the room for them first. ?I think they went behind the? I think they?re in the back,? says Kirk, before Shaun finally heads to the back of the room, returning with the bunches of bananas that he dropped. [0:11] He places both of them on the altar, hesitating to see if the doors opened, before heading back up the ladder to retrieve the last bunch. ?Oh, just a few seconds left?? comments Kirk, as Shaun grabs the bunch and quickly makes his way back down. He stands up, about to place the bananas on the altar? but we?re OUT OF TIME!
?Ah, time?s up!? groans Kirk. ?They did a great job?they were a great time all the way, and they still get the sports prizes for trying. We?ve gotta go, though?see you next time for another great Legend of? the Hidden Temple, Wild Jungle style! Bye!?
The credits begin to scroll as various ending scenes are shown: debris sitting in front of the Grand Marsh, some boulders rising from between plants near the Moat, and the Coin still sitting in the Forest of a Thousand Dragons. Finally, the camera fades out, and the light bulb-Nickelodeon logo is shown as an electric buzzing noise is heard.
