(Pendant Splits)
Kirk: Welcome back to Legends! Now the glory goes to the fastest and the strongest. But before we get started, let's get to know our team players. On the Blue Barracudas, we have William. He likes to play basketball and wants to become an L.A. Lakers Player. And his partner Jasmine likes to listen to music and will hang out with her frineds whenever she has time! Let's hear it for the Blue Barracudas!
(Applause)
Kirk: And on the Silver Snakes we have Graham. He likes baseball and wants to become a star in an action movie! And his partner Kathy likes to play soccer and wants to become USA's first woman president! Oohh! Let's hear it for the Silver Snakes!
(Applause)
Kirk: Alright now, guys, stay here, and grils go get ready for your game there.(points) Now this is what's going to happen: in the temple games, teams are competing to win Pendants of Life. (Kirk holds up a pendant). They need those pendants to protect themselves from the dreaded temple guards as they make their way through the temple. There are three temple games. And this is temple game number one:
The Great Wall of China was of a grand size, and needed tons of blocks to build. Now you're going to have to build a Great Wall, but you'll have to get the blocks first! Now, when I say go, you're gonna race out onto that platform and grab as many blocks as you can at once and bring them back here and pop them in your baskets, right here (points). But beware of the swinging boulder! If it hits you, you gotta drop your blocks and go back and start again. The team with the most blocks at the end of 60 seconds wins.
Time to build a great wall! Let's put sixty seconds on the clock!
(Clock bangs down)
Kirk: On your marks, get set, go!
(Event Occurs)
Kirk: Okay, we got a little cpunting to do here. Let's see, the Blue Barracudas got 3, 6, 9, 12, 14 blocks! The Silver Snakes got 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 blocks! So that means they get the half pendant of life! The next game is also worth a half pendant, and here it is!
Building the Great Wall took many, many days of hard work. Now we're gonna simulate that, but not so much hard work. In front of you stands a large disc. Now, when I say go, you have to race up and spin that disk by walking on it. Each full, 360-degree turn is one day of work. The days will be put on your counter, there. The team that's worked the most days at the end of sixty seconds wins!
Alright, let's put sixty seconds on the clock.
(Clock bangs down)
Kirk: On your marks, get set, GO!
(Event Occurs)
Kirk: Okay! Stop spinning, there, I know, you're prob'ly a little dizzy. Okay, there. Let's see, the Blue Barracudas got 15 days, and the Silver Snakes only got 11. So that means the Blue Barracudas get the half pendant! The next game is worth a full pendant, and here it is:
The woman had to look high and low, all over the place to find her husband. Now this final game will help you "find" your way to the temple if you win it! Okay, now, you and your partner are standing in front of some four large steps. When I say go, you're gonna climb up these steps with the rope, helping your partner up each one. The first team to reach the top wins!
Kirk: Alright, on your marks, get set, GO!
(Event Occurs)
Kirk: Ohhhh! The Blue Barracudas got up first, so that gives them the full pendant of life! That means they now have one-and-a-half pendants. The Silver Snakes only got half a pendant of life, the Blue Barracudas are going to the temple!
(Cheers)
Don't worry, Silver Snakes, you guys did a good job! You're gonna take home a cool prize:
