(Pendant Splits)
Kirk: Welcome back to Legends! Now the glory goes to the fastest and the strongest. But before we get started, let's get to know our team players. On the Orange Iguanas, we have Bill. He likes to play the drums and listening to rock and rap music. And his partner Melody also likes to listen to music and wants to become an Olympic swimmer! Let's hear it for the Orange Iguanas!
(Applause)
Kirk: And on the Purple Parrots we have Mitch. He likes to play basketball and wants to join the NBA when he's older. And his partner Christina likes to watch and play some baseball and wants to become a singer. Let's hear it for the Purple Parrots!
(Applause)
Kirk: Alright now, get ready for our games over there. (points). Now this is what's going to happen: in the temple games, teams are competing to win Pendants of Life. (Kirk holds up a pendant). They need those pendants to protect themselves from the dreaded temple guards as they make their way through the temple. There are three temple games. And this is temple game number one:
The Dragon King did many evil things, and one of them was execution. Now, we don't want to give you guys the idea that killing's good, but we are going to simulate Shihuangdi's ways now. When I say go, you're going to load up your catapult with a ball and shoot it at the four statues in front of you. The first team that knocks down all the statues, or the team that has knocked down more statues at the end of 60 seconds...wins!
Oh! I think we have a lot of convicts today! Let's put sixty seconds on the clock!
(Clock bangs down)
Kirk: On your marks, get set, go!
(Event Occurs)
Kirk: Okay, now, stop firing! Let's see. The Orange Iguanas managed to knock down three statues. The Purple Parrots knocked over three too, so it's a tie! So that means they both get the half pendant! The next game is also worth a half pendant, and here it is!
The Dragon King's people had to bring the books to be destroyed, and there were a lot of books to be brought to the fire! Now when I say go, you have to run out to the platform and grab a pile of books at the end, but beware of the swinging boulder! If it hits you on the way back, you'll need to drop whatever books you have and go again. Then put the books in the baskets to be "destroyed". The team with more books at the end of sixty seconds wins!
Alright, let's put sixty seconds on the clock.
(Clock bangs down)
Kirk: On your marks, get set, GO!
(Event Occurs)
Kirk: Stop bringing the books! That's enough! Okay...come on over! Okay, let's count up a little. Let's see, the Orange Iguanas got three, six, nine, ten books! And the Purple Parrots got...three, six nine books! So that means Orange gets the half pendant! The next game is worth a full pendant, and here it is:
The books were of course not burned altogether, but in groups. So now we will simulate this in this next game. When I say go, load up your catapult with a ball and fire it to your partner. Then she will place it on the marking that says "Group One". Then you'll climb up and do it for all the other three ones. The first team to "burn" all of the groups, or the team that's further along at the end of 60 seconds wins!
Kirk: Alright, let's put sixty seconds on the clock, please!
(Clock Bangs Down)
Kirk: Some library shelves will be quite empty soon! On your marks, get set, GO!
(Event Occurs)
Kirk: Let's see, the Orange Iguanas got up to Group Two, but the Purple Parrots got to the top, that means the Purple Parrots get the pendant! So now the Orange Iguanas have a pendant, but the Parrots have one and a half! The Purple Parrots are going to the temple!
(Cheers)
No, we haven't forgotten about you too, Orange, and you're gonna take home a cool prize:
(Prizes are announced)
The Purple Parrots are going to Olmec's temple and retrieve the Ashes, and they're gonna do it right after this!
(camera pans to a lion head in the Lion's Lair)
(Pendant joins)
(Comercial break)
