The Treasure Room / The Heart-Tipped Arrow of Aphrodite
« on: May 26, 2008, 06:03:15 AM »
KIRK: Welcome back to Legends. The Orange Iguanas have proven themselves worthy enough to enter Olmec?s temple. But before we get started, would you give the Orange Iguanas any clues on how to retrieve the Heart-Tipped Arrow of Aphrodite?

OLMEC: You could start by heading up into the Room of the Sacred Towers. Find the right combination by observing the towers and you may be headed into the Lava Pit! Break open the lava slabs and search for the actuator. Place it on the correct door and you may enter the Haunted Graveyard! Rip the tombstones out of the ground and place them in their correct holes to gain entry to the Artist?s Studio, where you can grab the Heart-Tipped Arrow of Aphrodite! Paint the picture using your team?s color and enter the Math Room. Solve the five sacred math problems to activate the powers of the five magical crystals which will open the door to the Shriiine of the Siillver Moonkkeey! Assemble the statue to gain entry to the Communication System! Connect the telephones to their closest holes and climb down into the Devil?s Lair! Attach the correct pair of horns to the devil and bust through the rock wall into the Blacksmith?s Workshop! Smith an item and place it on the anvil, but be careful! One of the items could be possessed by the spirit of a temple guard! Then you might gain entry to the Deserted Island! Break all of the palm trees on the island to unlock the door to the Log Cabin! Fix the holes in the walls of the cabin by finding pieces of wood on the ground. Then, race through the pit, climb through the Volcano, race down the stairs and back through the temple gate! The choices are yours and yours alone! You won 1 ? pendants in the Temple Games. Who?s going first?
TRIGO: I am!
OLMEC: Very well, Trigo! When Kirk gives the signal, you?ll enter the temple and make your way towards the Heart-Tipped Arrow of Aphrodite. Hidden inside the temple are temple guards assigned to protect three specific rooms. You can trade your pendant for an extra life and go on, but if you?re caught without a pendant, you?ll be taken out of the temple and it will be Kayleen?s turn to try her luck. Hidden inside the Temple is a ? Pendant. If you find it, you get an extra life. If you can reach the artifact, all the doors in the temple will instantly unlock, and the temple guards will vanish. Return to the gates with the Heart-Tipped Arrow of Aphrodite within three minutes, and you will both be handsomely rewarded. And here?s how!
DEE: For just getting into the temple, you?re both going to get a free Windows Vista computer! Complete with 1 terabyte of hard disk space, this can hold many of your projects in one disk! If you can grab the Heart-Tipped Arrow within 3 minutes, you?re also going to get a $10,000 savings bond worth of Middendorf?s in Manchac, Louisiana! Middendorf?s is home of the world?s finest catfish and french fries! If you can bring the Heart-Tipped Arrow out of the temple before your 3 minutes is up, you?ll both be going to Santa Rosa Island! A 1-month stay in the fabulous Summerwind Condo with a pool and of course that fabulous beach sand on Navarre Beach in Florida!
KIRK: All right, Santa Rosa Island! Let?s see if we can get them there. Okay, let?s put 3 minutes on the clock. And Olmec, lower your gate please.
OLMEC: Mmmmmmmmmmmm.
KIRK: All right, on your mark, get set, go!
(Trigo enters the temple via the Room of the Sacred Towers.)
KIRK: There he goes into the temple!
(2:48 is remaining on the clock when he finds the combination. Trigo then enters the Lava Pit with 2:44 remaining. But there is a Temple Guard!)
KIRK: Oh, Temple Guard! He gives him the pendant!
(Trigo finds the lava slab, grabs the actuator, and uses it on the door to the Log Cabin with 2:30 remaining.)
KIRK: Into the Log Cabin room! He?s gotta find those wood slabs!
(He fixes the cabin and enters the Deserted Island with 2:13 remaining.)
KIRK: He?s at the Deserted Island! Will he get lost? I don?t know!
(He quickly cuts down all 10 palm trees and enters the Blacksmith?s Workshop with 2:24 remaining.)
KIRK: Uh-oh! The Blacksmith?s Workshop! There might be a Temple Spirit hiding in one of the items!
(He makes a helmet and puts it on the anvil, but it isn?t the correct one. He makes a shield and puts it on the anvil, and it is the correct one! But it?s also possessed by a temple spirit! 1:48 is remaining when Kayleen enters the temple. She follows Trigo?s path, grabs the half pendant in the Deserted Island, and eventually climbs up from the Blacksmith?s Workshop into the Shrine of the Silver Monkey. 1:26 is remaining when Kayleen enters the shrine.)
KIRK: She?s gonna have to assemble that Silver Monkey!
(She assembles the monkey and enters the Math Room with 0:59 remaining. But there?s a Temple Guard waiting for her!)
KIRK: Oh, Temple Guard! Lucky she found that half pendant!
(She solves the five math problems and enters the Haunted Graveyard with 0:42 remaining.)
KIRK: She?s just one room away! She has to hurry here or she might not make it out!
(She eventually makes it down into the Artist?s Studio and grabs the arrow with 17 seconds remaining.)
KIRK: Yes! She?s got the arrow! 17 seconds remaining!
(She dives into the Lava Pit and enters the Volcano with 11 seconds remaining.)
KIRK: Oh! It?s gonna be really close! It?s gonna be close, people!
(She starts up the slide with only 4 seconds left and crosses the temple gates with only 1 second left!)
KIRK: SHE DID IT!!!! They got it all!!! They got the Windows Computers, the Middendorf?s, Santa Rosa Island, this must be the greatest moment in Legends of the Hidden Temple of all time! See you next time on another great Legend on the Hidden Temple! Bye bye!

The Treasure Room / The Heart-Tipped Arrow of Aphrodite
« on: May 26, 2008, 06:01:08 AM »
KIRK: Welcome back to Legends. Now the glory goes to the fastest and the strongest. But before we get started, let?s find out a little about our teams. On the Orange Iguanas, we have Trigo from New Orleans, at age 14! He likes to play football and is good at making As. And we have Kayleen, also at age 14. She likes to watch this show and play volleyball. Let?s hear it for the Orange Iguanas! And on the Silver Snakes, we have Johnnothanne, he likes to play the violin and is a billionaire at age 11! And we have Kayolarrah, she plays the Clarinet and is also at age 11 but she is also a billionaire. Let?s hear it for the rich Silver Snakes! These two teams are competing for pendants of life. They?re going to need those pendants to protect themselves from the dreaded temple guards as they make their way through Olmec?s temple. There are three temple games. Olmec, tell us about the first one.
OLMEC: Eros used golden arrows to try to make Psyche fall in love with the ugliest man in the world. When Kirk gives the signal, Trigo and Johnnothanne will get all 5 arrows from their bucket. Each team will aim the arrows at the target. The outer area is worth 1 point, the inner area is 3 points, and the bull?s eye is 5 points. The team with the most points after all the arrows are used up wins.
KIRK: Okay, teams! On your mark, get set, go!
(The games commence. The Silver Snakes end up scoring a perfect 25 points, while the Orange Iguanas score just 12 points.)
KIRK: Okay, the Silver Snakes won that temple game, so they get the ? Pendant of Life. Olmec, tell us about the second temple game.
OLMEC: Aphrodite was jealous of Psyche because she was more beautiful than her. Now these two teams will make Aphrodite really jealous of Psyche. When Kirk gives the signal, Kayleen and Kayolarrah will dig into the box and look for stuff to put on the statue of Psyche. They will observe the picture of Psyche between the two teams. The team who has all of the matching stuff on the statue, or the team who has the most matching stuff on the statue at the end of 60 seconds wins.
KIRK: Okay, teams! Ready, set, go!
The Orange Iguanas end up getting all the matching stuff on the statue with 12 seconds remaining.)
KIRK: Okay, the Orange Iguanas got all of the matching stuff so this ? pendant goes to the Orange Iguanas. Olmec, tell us about the third and final temple game.
OLMEC: Eros accidentally pricked himself with one of the arrows and fell in love with Psyche. When Kirk gives the signal, the teams will go around on these pendulum-things and take an arrow from the bucket and place it on the statue of Eros. Whoever puts all of their arrows on the statue or whoever has the most arrows placed on the statue by the end of 60 seconds wins.
KIRK: Okay, teams! On your marks, get set, GO!!!!!
(The Orange Iguanas and the Silver Snakes each get 7 arrows on the statue before time runs out.)
KIRK: Okay, the teams each got 7 arrows on the statue so they each have 1 ? pendants. We have a tiebreaker! Bring in the tiebreaker pedestal.
(The tiebreaker pedestal comes in.)
KIRK: Okay, Olmec?s going to ask you a question. If you think you know the answer, ring the gong. If you get it right, you?re going to Olmec?s temple. If you get it wrong, I?ll give the other team a chance to answer. If both of you get it wrong, who knows what will happen? Okay Olmec, we are now ready for your final question.
OLMEC: Was the Roman goddess of love Count Johannes, Cupid, or Roman?
(Orange Iguanas ring in.)
TRIGO: Cupid?
OLMEC: That is correct.
KIRK: The Orange Iguanas are going to the Temple!!! Silver Snakes, you came so close, so you deserve a valuable prize.
DEE: The Silver Snakes are receiving a $1,000 savings bond at Marble Slab creamery in Hammond, Louisiana! Marble Slab Creamery with the freshest ice cream on Earth!
KIRK: These totally awesome Orange Iguanas are gonna see if they can retrieve the Heart-Tipped Arrow of Aphrodite and they?re gonna do it right after this!

The Treasure Room / The Heart-Tipped Arrow of Aphrodite
« on: May 26, 2008, 05:58:59 AM »
KIRK: As the quest continues, it?s now time for Olmec to tell us about the Heart-Tipped Arrow of Aphrodite. But before we get started, pay attention, because your knowledge of the legend could bring you one step closer to Olmec?s temple.
OLMEC: The Greek goddess of love was Aphrodite. Aphrodite was jealous of the beauty of a mortal woman named Psyche.
APHRODITE: How can she be more beautiful than me? I?m supposed to be the most beautiful thing!
Aphrodite asked Eros to use his golden heart-tipped arrows to make Psyche fall in love with the ugliest man in the world. Eros agreed, but then Eros himself fell in love after accidentally pricking himself with one of the arrows. That specific arrow soon made its way to the temple! Your quest is to find the Heart-Tipped Arrow of Aphrodite and bring it back here!
KIRK: Thanks Olmec, so where is the arrow?
OLMEC: The Heart-Tipped Arrow of Aphrodite can be found in the Artist?s Studio!
KIRK: Okay teams, you are now standing on the steps of knowledge. In a minute, Olmec will ask you several questions about today?s legend. If you think you know the answer, stomp down on the ancient marking in front of you. Try stomping on it!
(The Orange Iguanas stomp down on their marking.)
KIRK: Okay, Orange Iguanas, since you rang in first, you would be able to answer. If you?re right, you move down a step. If you?re wrong or run out if time, I?m going to give the other teams a chance to answer. The first two teams to answer three questions correctly and make it to the bottom step will be one step closer to Olmec?s temple. Olmec, we are now ready for question uno.
OLMEC: What was on the tip of the arrow: a diamond, an arrowhead, or a heart?
(Orange Iguanas ring in)
IGUANAS: A heart?
OLMEC: That is wrong! Just kidding, that?s correct.
(The Iguanas move down a step.)
OLMEC: What was the name of the woman that Aphrodite was jealous of? Psychic, Psyche, or PsychoSquid?
(Iguanas ring in again.)
IGUANAS: Psyche?
OLMEC: Correct. Now move down a step, okay?
(They do so.)
OLMEC: What country was Aphrodite from? Greece, Monaco-
(Iguanas ring in AGAIN.)
IGUANAS: Greece?
OLMEC: Still correct, you?re going to the temple games. Was Aphrodite the goddess of sea, love, or Rocko?s Modern Life?
(Silver Snakes ring in.)
SNAKES: Love?
OLMEC: Correctamundo.
(They move down a step.)
OLMEC: What was the name of the guy who fell in love with Psyche after accidentally pricking himself with an arrow? Was it Enter, Eros, or Ores?
(Silver Snakes ring in.)
SNAKES: Eros?
OLMEC: That is correct!
(They move down another step.)
OLMEC: Okay, I ran out of questions about the legend, so I?m just going to yell out a random question with no answer choices. What is 2+2?
(Silver Snakes ring in.)
SNAKES: 4?
OLMEC: That is?correct.
KIRK: The Orange Iguanas and the Silver Snakes are going to the temple! The Red Jaguars and the Green Monkeys did great too. Let?s see what they won!
DEE: They?ve won $10,000 dollars worth of Rocko?s Modern Life DVDs! All 52 episodes are packed in these DVDs and it comes with the SNES game: Rocko?s Modern Life: Spunky?s Dangerous Day!
KIRK: These two teams will fight for the right to enter Olmec?s temple! And they?ll do it right after THIS!

The Treasure Room / The Heart-Tipped Arrow of Aphrodite
« on: May 26, 2008, 05:56:19 AM »
(We zoom in to a jungle that appears to be covered in a slightly volcanic ground. Soon we see Olmec, who is a bit more red than usual.)
OLMEC: Legends of the Hidden Temple! With your guide, Kirk Fogg! And here he is now!
(Kirk comes in from a pretend volcano.)
KIRK: Thank you! Nice to see you. Thank you Olmec. Welcome to Legends of the Hidden Temple. The rooms are filled with lost treasures that are protected by mysterious Mayan temple guards. Only Olmec knows the legend behind each of the treasures in his temple. Which one are we going to hear about today?
OLMEC: The Legend of the Heart-Tipped Arrow of Aphrodite.
KIRK: Oh, the Heart-Tipped Arrow of Aphrodite. Well one of our six teams will have a chance to retrieve the Heart-Tipped Arrow. Will it be the Red Jaguars, the Blue Barracudas, the Green Monkeys, the Orange Iguanas, the Purple Parrots, or the Silver Snakes? They?re going to have to pass some tough physical and mental tests, but in the end, only one team will have the right to enter Olmec?s temple, but first they have to cross the moat, and Olmec?s going to tell us how they will do it today.
OLMEC:  Before you stands an ancient canoe. You and your partner must get in the canoe and row around the volcanoes. If your canoe hits a volcano, you must go back and start again. Once your team has made it across, run over and hit the gong.
(Kirk hits the Orange Iguanas? gong as a demonstration.)
KIRK: Teams, are you ready?
TEAMS: Of course we are! Now hurry up!
KIRK: How about you Olmec?
OLMEC: Si!
KIRK: On your marks, get set, grow!
(One Red Jaguars member goes.)
KIRK: Sorry, I said grow, not go. Head back to the beginning. Okay, for real this time. On your marks, get set, GO!
(All the teams head into the canoes and start rowing.)
KIRK: There they go! They?re good!
(The Blue Barracudas? canoe hits a volcano.)
KIRK: Oh! Blue Barracudas have to go back.
(The Orange Iguanas are already at the other side and have banged their gong.)
KIRK: The Iguanas are already finished? Wow!
(As he says this, the Silver Snakes hit their gong.)
KIRK: Today?s batch of teams is super fast!
(The Green Monkeys and the Red Jaguars hit their gongs.)
KIRK: Oh! We have our four teams. Going onto the steps of knowledge are the Red Jaguars, the Green Monkeys, the Orange Iguanas, and the Silver Snakes! The Blue Barracudas and the Purple Parrots gave it a tremendous effort, so they?re going home with a fabulous consolation prize.
DEE: It?s a Wii! Wii comes with Wii Sports, WarioWare: Smooth Moves, TLOZ:TP, and Super Mario Galaxy! Among the most popular games that exist!

The Room of the Sacred Towers (Crypt area)

There would be 4 towers. There would be a red one, a blue one, a green one, and a yellow one. For example, the towers may be sorted like this:

RG
YB

There would be a little panel on the wall in the back of the room, and there would be four tokens on that panel arranged like this:

YB
GR

The player would need to arrange the tokens so that they look like this:

RG
YB

to go into the next room. Also, the towers are located in the corners of the room, and their colors can vary.
