The frontrunner was an average player. She didn't move too fast or slow and knew what to do despite some hesitance. Once the second player comes in, things get heated up. He was smart and fast and was able to get to the artifact with enough time to escape.

The frontrunner made good time and managed to clear 4 rooms easily. It's his sloth of a partner that made this episode so pitiful. She was lucky to get past the Moat (she only got a shorter time because she had great endurance hanging on to the webbing). And no wonder she lost her own Temple Game. How can anyone be THAT slow? Who cares if you know what to do in each room? You were WALKING!!! If you considered that jogging, then JOG FASTER!

What is this layout?    The team did the best they could, but their luck was really bad here. Third book. Third armor (with temple guard). All vines! 2:48 to 2:41: Pulls the first book and immediately enters the Ledges
2:41 to 2:32: Hesitates, then uses the upper crawl tube to enter the Pit of the Pendulum
2:32 to 2:19: Knocks down the column and falls into the Pit, opening the door to the Lightning Room in the process
2:19 to 1:50: Does a “What do I do?” gesture and climbs up the wall slowly and enters the Lightning Room
1:50 to 1:47: Gets captured
1:47 to 1:20: Girl heads to where guy got captured
1:20 to 1:05: Hesitates and wonders what to do, then plugs in the cords
1:05 to 1:01: Enters the Room of the Ancient Warriors
1:01 to 0:56: Tries the middle armor, but nothing happens
0:56 to 0:51: Tries the left armor, but nothing happens
0:51 to 0:39: Touches door in hesitance, then tries the right most armor and heads into the Shrine of the Silver Monkey
0:39 to 0:23: Assembles the Monkey and heads into the Room of the Secret Password, not noticing the door to the Dark Forest is open
0:23 to 0:18: Puts the first dragon into a slot, but nothing happens
0:18 to 0:14: Puts the second dragon into a slot, but nothing happens
0:14 to 0:09: Puts the third dragon into a slot, and the door opens
0:09 to 0:03: Enters the Boiler Room
0:03 to 0:02: Busts through the wall into the Dark Forest
0:02 to 0:00: Doesn't know what to do



Both players here gave me a headache. The frontrunner especially. He must not have been paying attention to the Temple rundown because he had no clue with what to do in each room. And those rooms were simple enough already. The second runner was fast, but made so many mistakes like hesitate too much and missing the Shrine/Forest passage. Erase this from my memory, please!

The layout looks a lot like Ponce de Leon, only this team much A LOT less progress. Maybe this is what the temple would've turned out to be if James had been removed sooner, and Jessica spent the rest of the time in the temple.
