It would have saved her a bit of time to follow Mike's path. I'm pretty sure that she would have had enough time to plow through the wall and find the key in the Dark Forest. As long as she didn't get thrown like Tess ("Dried Ear of Corn") or Ashlie ("Bonnet of Dolley Madison"), I think she would have reached the gavel.

What if Travis and Elisa had been part of a different production day?

They would've definitely won on any other layout besides the one from their production days. Except for maybe the "Belle Boyd" and "Robert the Bruce" layout. But then again, Travis and Elisa could pull it off due to how strong they were.

What if Peter never entered Medusa's Lair in the Benjamin Franklin run?

It would've been a legendary victory on a legendary filming day. This is why you don't take the direct path.

What if the Silver Snakes from "The Keys to the Alhambra" never lost at the tiebreaker?

We would've had a better temple performance more likely. We wouldn't have seen a runner that would backtrack all the way to the entrance like Lisa did.

What if Katherine and Sean didn't hit a deadend in the Room of Harmonic Convergence in the Belshazzar temple run?

Then this run would have probably been more successful. Considering there appeared to be no way out of the Treasure Room, they probably were supposed to go back down to the Harmonic Convergence and continue along the bottom floor. But this run would not be the first or last time that a team had trouble progressing past that room.

What if Scott was the frontrunner in the "Lucky Pig" run?

They would've had a MUCH better chance at reaching the artifact. He wouldn't have walked through every room and spent almost a minute climbing out of the Pit. But then again, Kristen still probably would've wasted time.

What if Tony didn't get stuck in Medusa's Lair in "The Stone Head of the Evil King?"

He would have made it much further into the temple, but I have a feeling he would have had trouble finishing the King's Storeroom and Shrine of the Silver Monkey. So even though he would have gotten closer to the Stone Head, I'm not so certain he would have reached it.

What if the third temple guard had been in the Room of the Secret Password during "Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain?"

I actually think it was possible for a solo victory in the Amelia Earhart run. If Scott started in the Cave of Sighs and followed Kristen's path, then he would've only encountered the guard in the Swamp. And while the path was long, most of the room were super easy. Which is why Kristen still made it one room away.

And for the Pirate Captain run, it wouldn't have ended up being one of the best wins on the show and people would probably overlook Jessica and Jarrid's strong performance despite the disappointing outcome if he did get captured in that room.

What if Ron was caught cheating in the moat in the Anne Bonny episode?

He never would've made it across. Then we would've seen another team (possibly the Green Monkeys) do a better job in the temple.

What is Peter never tried for a direct path in "The Electrified Key of Benjamin Franklin?"

The Blue Barracudas would've definitely won if Peter didn't keep beelining for the direct path. He actually did move fast in the temple and if he avoided Medusa's Lair (like Michelle) did, then we would've had at least one bottom of the central shaft victory. By S2, there is no excuse for the direct path.

What if Leah entered the Chamber and Matt entered the Shrine from the Quicksand Bog in the Belle Boyd run?

Leah would have only saved herself maybe 15-20 seconds, and I'm not so sure that Matthew would have been able to get directly into the Shrine from the Quicksand Bog. They would have come close to reaching the Room of the Ancient Warriors, but I think they would have still been a few seconds short.

What if the Purple Parrots had not been sent back during the "Thornwood Gavel" moat crossing?

They probably would've made it to the temple games and only for them to lose to the Orange Iguanas yet again. Either that, or they would've made it to the Steps at least.

What if Tara used the Trouble Bridge to exit the temple in the "Sir Edmund Hillary" temple run?

They probably would've won with about 4-5 seconds left on the clock.

What if Jennifer did NOT shout at Nicholas in "The Melted Head of Madame Tussaud?"

He probably would've been sent back and forced to cross correctly. The Red Jaguars might've not even made it across then if Ron truly did get called out for it.
