First and foremost, this was what happened leading up to Mitchell and Emily's elimination after the Temple Mission:

(This is the text version)
— As you know, Damian and Jennifer won the Temple Mission, but now they have the arduous task of eliminating one team by sending two teams to the Temple of fate with everyone sucking up to them. Jennifer revealed in her first-person diary that she didn't wanna necessarily do it, but she realized one team had to leave that night. Taylor and Shannon both said that they have little concern about being sent, but they have narrow compassion for Orange because Retina and Tim are constantly fighting and it results with Retina always crying and venting to the others about Tim's bad attitude, which makes them a target for the Temple. Similarly, Purple has no pity or allies because everyone (mostly Green and Red) say that they're the weakest team that should be nixed, as revealed in Tara's confessional.
— Jennifer and Damian later meet by the cabin veranda to discuss who's gonna be sent. Damian suggests that they need to send two teams that can't possibly pose a threat if they return. He then proposes that they send Orange and Brown because he's bonded with everyone else except them and he believes that they'll be targets regardless. Jennifer then says that if one of them returns, they can't seek revenge for the most part. She then explains in her diary that she and Damian tried reviewing the teams' performances in the recent game and how guilty she'd feel if one of them got eliminated.
— The teams all meet with JD that day to hear Blue's choice, and sure enough, Brown and Orange are chosen to go to the Temple of Fate. Emily reveals in her diary that she was upset about being sent but she wouldn't cry despite growing emotional while speaking, elsewhere Mitchell basically says that he will be vindictive of Blue if he comes back from the Temple! However, when David (from Purple) asks him in the guys' cabin why he got sent by Blue, he says that they thought he was a weak team that would accomplish nothing. Candace reveals in her confessional that she sympathizes for both teams and she thinks Orange deserves to return more than Brown. In his confessional, Tim confirms that if he returns from the Temple, he isn't gonna mess around any longer but will mean business in the competition!
— Subsequently, Brown and Orange pack their belongings and say their goodbyes to the remaining contestants and set out for the Temple. In their farewell diaries, respectively, Tim ensures that stopping Blue from victory will be his main goal and also trying to break their spirits; Emily says that she doesn't know what to do in the forthcoming days if she comes back and she doesn't blame Blue; Retina explains that she'll try and keep Tim in check so he doesn't make any obstinate moves if they come back and she'll be friends with everyone; Mitchell swears to go off on Blue by getting revenge if he returns to show everyone he's not weak.
— Both teams arrive at the Temple of Fate for the rochambeau of fire-water-wood to advance another day. Orange is fortunate enough to be the one shutting out Brown twice in a row, which makes Mitchell and Emily the first team to go home.  Orange returns to the cabins with smiles on their faces and unbearable glee from everyone, particularly Yellow.

(This is the quotation version)

Act I:

Jennifer: (in the first-person interview) Me and Damian were so stoked about winning today, but then we realized that we had to send someone to the Temple and potentially get targets on our backs.
Taylor: (in the first-person interview) 'Cause Blue won today, I know that I won't be somebody that'll go to the Temple. However, I think Orange is definitely going because they're arguing a lot.
Shannon: (in the first-person interview) Everyone's getting irritated by Retina and Tim because they fight a lot and it ends in Retina crying and complaining, and that's probably why Orange is gonna get sent.
Tara (in the confessional) I have a feeling that Purple is going to the Temple 'cause everyone says that they're useless and it's better that they shouldn't be here.
Jennifer: (in the first-person interview) We we trying to decide logically on the teams while we got rid of the possibilities of their performances. It's just gonna be hard to see someone go tonight, and it'll be my fault too which makes it harder!

Act II:

Emily: (in the first-person interview) I'm upset and utterly hurt about being sent, but I don't wanna cry about it. I just wanna see how tonight plays out and I wanna win. (brushes away a tear)
Mitchell: (in the first-person interview, sounding enraged) I'm angry and upset about going up to the Temple, and I'm pissed with Blue. If we come back, we're just gonna shut them out altogether without any hesitations!
Candace: (in the confessional) I feel kinda sorry for both teams, mostly Orange 'cause everyone wants them gone and I just think they need to stay moreover than Brown. (segues to Tim's confessional)
Tim: (in the confessional) I thought I had a bond with Blue, but they had a thing in mind that made them wanna nix me. If I come back, I'm not messin' around and playing Mr. Nice Guy 'cause i will mean business! Blue team? (snaps fingers) They'll be gone just like that!

Hope you guys like it, and I'll write the next challenge in a few days!  8)

Time for a refresher on the last episode and what's forthcoming in the next!

Previously on Legends Goes Endurance: Season One:

It was a new day at the sixteen Legends competitors' accommodations as the teams all began to nitpick their relationships. The stronger teams, Blue Barracudas, Silver Snakes, Red Jaguars and Green Monkeys formed an alliance to combat the other four weaker teams to outright dominate the game.

After the alliances, friendships and scheming began to spread throughout the camp, the teams were shocked with a surprise elimination! When the first elimination debuted in the prior episode, all eight teams absolutely fought to get their performance up to par and evade the Temple of Fate. The Blue Barracudas —Damian and Jennifer from the eighth episode, John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine— absolutely dominated the competition and acquired the arduous responsibility of sending two teams to the Temple of Fate.

Jennifer was especially concerned about revenge from a strong team if they were sent to the Temple of Fate. Everyone is still getting to know their teammates for the most part with the exception of the Orange Iguanas —Tim and Retina from the thirty-first episode, Alexander and the Gordian Knot— who were perennially arguing that ended with Retina in tears and complaints over Tim's bold and impulsive attitude, which was irritating to everyone and gave Damian a reason to send Orange to the Temple! However, both players on the Blue Barracudas stuck with the initial choice of sending weaker teams to lessen the chances of revenge if they earned the right to progress further in the competition.

When the teams all gathered with JD to hear the Blue Barracudas' decision, they revealed that they were sending Orange and Brown to the Temple of Fate. Their plan was to send up the two teams mentioned 'cause they were weaker teams and they knew that they couldn't seek revenge despite what Tim said in his confessional if he returned from the Temple.

At the Temple of Fate, the Orange Iguanas successfully triumphed over their destiny and the Brown Team —Mitchell and Emily from the fifteenth episode, The Moccasins of Geronimo— became the first team eliminated from the competition. Now, with this episode finished, you must be asking questions like: Have Tim and Retina begun to value the opposites' input to continue in the game, taking into account that they were adequate enough to survive elimination? Can the weak teams beat the odds of losing to the strong Red-Blue-Green-Silver alliance in the follow-up days? You'll soon discover in the next episode of Legends Goes Endurance!

Moving onto today's episode and the challenge, which is the first Endurance Mission. The pyramid piece up for grabs is Teamwork and the Samadhi, which is sure enough a handicap that's gonna be a hindrance to the team that gets it. The contest of the week is an elimination-themed challenge involving the Season 1 Moat crossings, and only one Moat crossing can be eliminated by up to three users. The last Moat crossing standing will be declared the winner, and the team that doesn't try to eliminate that remaining choice will win the Teamwork piece and the Samadhi.

Here are the Moat Crossings, as shown by the context of when the episodes started their production order:

King Tut's Staff with Overhead Rope on a Tethered Raft
Aztec Footboard with Overhead/Tethered Rope
Swimming with Overhead Rope for a Tightrope
Paddle Across on Raft One at a Time
Inflatable Tubes One at a Time
Paddle Across on Raft with Overhead Rope/Tightrope
Hand-over-Hand on Overhead Rope with Tightrope
Hand-over-Hand on Overhead Rope with Inflatable Tubes
Scramble Across a Horizontal Ring Bridge

I'll get back to ya later!  :D

I'll start off the next mission by eliminating one of the Moat crossings from Season 1, and I pick the "swim across with a rope to make a tightrope". Too easy, and anybody from the latter seasons would CREAM that Moat crossing!

Aw I liked the S1L1 moat. Easy yes, but man that looks like fun. Get rid of the S1L5 "Pull yourself across while laying on a tube." Methinks that moat is lame and easy.

Only four Moat crossings left to win the Teamwork pyramid piece and the Samadhi!

Remaining ones are:
Paddle Across on a Raft with Overhead Rope/Tightrope
Hand-over-Hand on Overhead Rope with Tightrope
Hand-over-Hand on Overhead Rope with Inner Tubes
Scramble Across a Horizontal Ring Bridge

The winner gets one more piece and the dreaded Samadhi! :D

I'll eliminate the "Paddle Across on a Raft with Overhead Rope/Tightrope" moat next. Assuming we're still trying to weed through those moats.
