First and foremost, this was what happened leading up to Mitchell and Emily's elimination after the Temple Mission:
(This is the text version)
— As you know, Damian and Jennifer won the Temple Mission, but now they have the arduous task of eliminating one team by sending two teams to the Temple of fate with everyone sucking up to them. Jennifer revealed in her first-person diary that she didn't wanna necessarily do it, but she realized one team had to leave that night. Taylor and Shannon both said that they have little concern about being sent, but they have narrow compassion for Orange because Retina and Tim are constantly fighting and it results with Retina always crying and venting to the others about Tim's bad attitude, which makes them a target for the Temple. Similarly, Purple has no pity or allies because everyone (mostly Green and Red) say that they're the weakest team that should be nixed, as revealed in Tara's confessional.
— Jennifer and Damian later meet by the cabin veranda to discuss who's gonna be sent. Damian suggests that they need to send two teams that can't possibly pose a threat if they return. He then proposes that they send Orange and Brown because he's bonded with everyone else except them and he believes that they'll be targets regardless. Jennifer then says that if one of them returns, they can't seek revenge for the most part. She then explains in her diary that she and Damian tried reviewing the teams' performances in the recent game and how guilty she'd feel if one of them got eliminated.
— The teams all meet with JD that day to hear Blue's choice, and sure enough, Brown and Orange are chosen to go to the Temple of Fate. Emily reveals in her diary that she was upset about being sent but she wouldn't cry despite growing emotional while speaking, elsewhere Mitchell basically says that he will be vindictive of Blue if he comes back from the Temple! However, when David (from Purple) asks him in the guys' cabin why he got sent by Blue, he says that they thought he was a weak team that would accomplish nothing. Candace reveals in her confessional that she sympathizes for both teams and she thinks Orange deserves to return more than Brown. In his confessional, Tim confirms that if he returns from the Temple, he isn't gonna mess around any longer but will mean business in the competition!
— Subsequently, Brown and Orange pack their belongings and say their goodbyes to the remaining contestants and set out for the Temple. In their farewell diaries, respectively, Tim ensures that stopping Blue from victory will be his main goal and also trying to break their spirits; Emily says that she doesn't know what to do in the forthcoming days if she comes back and she doesn't blame Blue; Retina explains that she'll try and keep Tim in check so he doesn't make any obstinate moves if they come back and she'll be friends with everyone; Mitchell swears to go off on Blue by getting revenge if he returns to show everyone he's not weak.
— Both teams arrive at the Temple of Fate for the rochambeau of fire-water-wood to advance another day. Orange is fortunate enough to be the one shutting out Brown twice in a row, which makes Mitchell and Emily the first team to go home. Orange returns to the cabins with smiles on their faces and unbearable glee from everyone, particularly Yellow.

Act I:
Jennifer: (
in the first-person interview) Me and Damian were so stoked about winning today, but then we realized that we had to send someone to the Temple and potentially get targets on our backs.
Taylor: (
in the first-person interview) 'Cause Blue won today, I know that I won't be somebody that'll go to the Temple. However, I think Orange is definitely going because they're arguing a lot.
Shannon: (
in the first-person interview) Everyone's getting irritated by Retina and Tim because they fight a lot and it ends in Retina crying and complaining, and that's probably why Orange is gonna get sent.
Tara (
in the confessional) I have a feeling that Purple is going to the Temple 'cause everyone says that they're useless and it's better that they shouldn't be here.
Jennifer: (
in the first-person interview) We we trying to decide logically on the teams while we got rid of the possibilities of their performances. It's just gonna be hard to see someone go tonight, and it'll be my fault too which makes it harder!
Act II:
Emily: (
in the first-person interview) I'm upset and utterly hurt about being sent, but I don't wanna cry about it. I just wanna see how tonight plays out and I wanna win. (
brushes away a tear)
Mitchell: (
in the first-person interview, sounding enraged) I'm angry and upset about going up to the Temple, and I'm pissed with Blue. If we come back, we're just gonna shut them out altogether without any hesitations!
Candace: (
in the confessional) I feel kinda sorry for both teams, mostly Orange 'cause everyone wants them gone and I just think they need to stay moreover than Brown. (
segues to Tim's confessional)
Tim: (
in the confessional) I thought I had a bond with Blue, but they had a thing in mind that made them wanna nix me. If I come back, I'm not messin' around and playing Mr. Nice Guy 'cause i will mean business! Blue team? (
snaps fingers) They'll be gone just like that!
Hope you guys like it, and I'll write the next challenge in a few days!
