Well, if they are going to make a TV Movie, I hope it's in an effort to let younger audiences into the "LOTHT world" as a set up for a possible Season 4.

Am I asking to much?

I really hope this TV Movie doesn't ruin things.

As a movie? That's.......interesting. I'd rather we just get season 4 of the game show instead. Now we get to potentially see Hollywood turn gold into shit, like they always do. :roll:

The wording from the Nick Executive via the Vanity article makes me feel like they are trying to get the kids of today into the LOTHT "world", and then if it succeeds (ratings wise and response) they will restore it into something else, or the "classic" 90's game.

Take a look at the wording and tell me if you feel the same way:

This is why it's really important the TV Movie is good and captivates the audience.

A bad movie: No Season 4, and the show's reputation is severely tampered with, and the LOTHT book is fully shut.

A good movie: Kids, Adults and all in between are interested, and we end the LOTHT saga with a potential re-boot of our favorite show. I'd much rather see the show end in the classic game show that I grew up loving than the movie...

I think it could be a way to introduce kiddos to LotHT and see how the current generation rates it. It makes sense because a movie is probably less work to produce than 40 episodes of the show. Why would they risk gathering hundreds of contestants, filming hours and hours of footage, and constructing a whole new temple if they don't have an idea of how the show would rate or if many children would watch it? It would make sense to just make a movie and then use that test the waters. This is all assuming they're even considering bringing the show back obviously and I could just be wrong  :mrblue:

Looks like "Isabela Moner" (whoever that is) will be starring in the movie and by the look for her instagram post, she doesn't seem to know about the old show. Of, course you know what they say, never trust an instagram post to form an opinion....
