Poseidon's moat was pretty long too. And poorly voiced over and edited to boot. O_O But yeah, Apanuugpak's moat was extremely quick. It was one of the, if not THE shortest moat ever. And I just watched Apanuugpak today too. What a coincidence.

And with a 7.2 average, time to end the "floating icebergs" moat.

Up next is the "lily pads and vines" moat. ;)

I gave this moat a 7. I liked the concept of both teams crossing the lilypads and vines together, and I liked the emphasis it put on teamwork. But like the balancing on boogie board moat, I felt like some of the rules were a little nitpicky. Like, you had to touch every last vine or you had to start all over again. And your knees couldn't touch the lilypads either. Some of these teams really struggled too, as it did look like a difficult task. It was a neat moat, but not one of my favorites. ;)

I gave this moat a 7 also. It was better than the plank and lilypad moat from the impossible layout day, but not by much. I agree with you about the knees not being able to touch the lilypad rule being too harsh also. I mean, the players were crossing a large, slippery, and unstable lilypad. It was probably hard to be steady. Why were the Season 3 rules so anal? It was still a good moat and I don't recall any of the crossings from this day being overly bad. ;)

Well, I remember Mummified Hand's moat being a tad long. Mostly because those kids just couldn't keep their balance. But yeah, those lilypads were way too slippery and unstable. So I don't blame some of the teams for struggling to cross. I do kind of like the "three islands and a plank" moat better, but this moat was still pretty cool too. ;) What a coincidence that both episodes Jennifer from Melted Head was on featured lilypads for a moat. And the second time around, she managed to cross it no problem, and made it to the temple. :mrorange:

And with a 6.8 average, time to end the "lilypads and vines" moat. :mrpurple:

Up next is the "run/crawl on a bridge" moat. ;)

I gave this moat a 5. Actually, I should've given it lower. This is my least favorite moat of Season 3. I mean, you just run or crawl across a bridge, seriously. Even the running aspect of the moat (that you saw in Gwalior) didn't impress me. Oh well, if it's any consolation, tomorrow's last and final moat is MUCH more inspiring than this one. This is the only real bad moat in Season 3, that you'd expect in Season 1. So there's that. ;)

I gave this moat a 4. The concept was way too simple and it felt like an idea that would come from Season 1, not the second to last day of Season 3. I mean all the contestants had to do was run across the bridge. I like how between the first episode (Gwalior) and the next episode (Belle Boyd) the producers had to change the objective. I do like how some of the moats were fast, but it wasn't anything special considering how easy they were in the first place. My least favorite moat from Season 3.

Put it this way: Tomorrow's moat is gonna be arguably one of the best moats on the show. And then this entire thread will be over and we won't have to vote on anymore moats. I mean, who doesn't like a net and vine for a moat? Really now.

Tomorrow's moat is a classic. It was special that they brought the concept back for another production day. This moat was awesome in episodes like Catherine the Great and Imperial Wizard. ;)

Also, I like how at least one moat was repeated in each season:

Great Seal Moat/Cobra Staff Moat
Missing Eye Moat/Priceless Portrait Moat
Mystical Spellbook Moat/Ruby Earring Moat

Wait, was Great Seal's moat the same as Cobra Staff's moat? I remember Great Seal's moat had the paddles, and Oracle Bowl and Cobra Staff's moat had the tubes. But yeah, Mystical Spellbook and Catherine the Great's moat was very special. It featured a great challenge and I liked how some of the contestants did unintentional backflips on the nets too. They definitely picked a good moat to repeat for the last ever filming day. ;)

And for once this poll is not unanimous. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but who would give this moat a 7? :? This was easily one of the most uninspiring moats ever to be featured on the show. Either way, the "run/crawl across a bridge" moat ends with a 5.2 average. ;)

Up next is the last ever (and recycled) moat. The good old "net and vine" moat.  :mrsilver: :mrred:

I gave this moat an 8. This to me, was one of the best moats ever used for the show, and I'm glad they brought it back on the last ever filming day. I liked the challenge of swinging on a vine, and then jumping to the other side of the net. I loved the backflips some of the contestants did too. Some of the moats were pretty long, because some of these teams just couldn't jump off the net. But it was still a great moat and a great concept, and it was an awesome moat to both recycle, and close out the show with. ;)

I gave our very last moat an 8. It was a classic moat and even the producers thought it was great to bring it back for the very last day. :mrred: Also, some of these moats had very memorable moments like the Green Monkeys in Empress Eugenie struggling to the close moat in Imperial Wizard. This was an awesome moat and it totally deserved a second appearance. ;)

And yeah, I can't believe someone gave Belle Boyd's moat a 7. I am guessing it was because most of the moats that day were close and competitive?  :?:

That's my best guess, especially considering how short Gwalior's moat was.

And to add on to the memorable moments: The Orange Iguana girl taking a nasty spill in Empress Eugenie's moat. I hope to god she wasn't hurt. But yeah, this was totally an awesome moat. It's even a moat I would've liked to try out. ;) :mrred:
